Hello guys. I just got an updater notification and I wanted to know which Android version is it based on. Google Search doesn't give any results. Anybody has it installed and can give me some feedback?
Can you take screenshot? I quess it is for Lollipop.

It's all in Polish, so you probalby won't understand. I'll just install it and give it a go.
It says only saying about improvements, not about any technical stuff like Android version.

Thanks, mine update failed to download unfortunately. Shame it's still Android 5.0.1 and EMUI 3.1. I hoped for Marshmallow
I can't download it...it's slow.... 40% in 4 h, but in the end has stopped.
Yeah, mine isn't downloading either. It has partially downloaded several times and failed repeatedly. I'm in Slovenia with US English settings.
Hi! I have the same problem with the download. It's very slow and it crashed several times. Is it a problem with my phone or a problem from Huawei's servers? Thanks!
Now I download without problems and installed, but earlier its very, very slow, 3% per hour. I'm in Poland.
Anyone can share the experience after installing B200 ?
Is it better than B190 in terms of battery life (at least after this day or so since release
Is the fix for "double-tap-letters" still present i.e. was not removed / did not come back? (B190 fixed this and I hope that all future updates will be fine)
P.S. I cannot find anywhere link to this B200. (I found only the update for standard P8). Anyone can share a link if possible?
Installed it this morning and there are two things that I noticed:
- status bar isn't showing 4g but it says lte
- double tap bug has been repaired I think

Double-tap bug has been repaired already in B190 (but thanks for letting us know that nobody broke it in newer B200

Anyone has the link? I cannot find it on official Huawei site.
I can't install B200, 4% error every time :/ can someone help? or give a link to a solution
Installed. No notable changes.

i wanted to update it per local update again or to the beta version above, but it always says "Software install failed".
does anyone have the same problem or know how i can fix it ? would be a big help !!

Hello everyone,
I've been a lurker here for a bit, and this is my very first post.
By following a few guides here, I was able to successfully install CyanogenMod 13 (latest nightly) and OpenGApps (nano). Everything works fine, and I'm very happy with the custom ROM; however, I noticed that the data speeds are definitely not LTE even though it shows on the reception signal symbol that it is, indeed, LTE. In fact, it has slowed down to the point where I can barely use Google Maps, and it's almost impossible to load a webpage, much less download an app. I'm also experiencing spotty reception. I did not have either of these problems before installing Cyanogenmod.
The following is some information about the phone:
Carrier: MetroPCS
Device Model: LG-H811
Android Version: 6.0.1
CyanogenMod Version: 13.0-20160720-NIGHTLY-h811
Cyanogen API Level: Fig (6)
Android Security Patch Level: July 5th, 2016
Baseband Version: MPSS.BO.2.5.c3-00109-M8992FAAAANAZM-1
Kernel Version:
3.10.84-g388f293
[email protected] # 1
Tue Jul 19 21:53:30 PDT 2016
Build Date: Tue Jul 19 21:47:12 PDT 2016

SELinux status: Enforcing
From what I have seen this is what's provided to solve most problems. I'm a little clueless as to exactly what information I should provide, so please guide me and I'll provide it accordingly. Also, I did some searching and did not see any forum thread addressing this issue. If I scrolled right past it, or if I'm just plainly blind, and there is indeed a thread about this with a fix, then please post the link and close this thread.
Some help would be much appreciated!
Thanks,
fadam00

Tried Kingo Root and it keeps failing at 90%. Tried Kingo Root (for PC) and that makes it to 100%, but fails as well. Was about to try the method outlined on TeamAndroid.com's page, but I could not find my specific model their model page.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
Do a search, it's hairy but works.

Does anyone have any actual advice? Telling me, in essence, to rtff doesn't help. From what I can tell, N950U is not rootable at the moment. Am I wrong? If so, what steps do I need to take to root my phone? I hate using my phone in its stock condition.
As rbeavers said, do a search. Or if you looked around a bit, & I really mean just a little bit you will easily find it. Take a look in the development section. Or if you looked in the Sprint section you'd really have no problem finding it as it's the only thread there.
You have Snapdragon if you did not know. And be sure to read the thread very carefully, the 80% part.
Memory tells me I have AnyKernel ROM but I can't find much about it on xda anymore... probably because it's pretty dated. That being said, it was the best ROM I've ever used and I'd like to do a clean wipe and install it again.
Since it's on my current phone, this is what it shows under About phone:

Any idea how I can find this exact install?

Get some Oreo in your life. I'm running crDroid 4.7 with fantastic results. Pie ROMs are becoming more stable, soon I'll be switching.
Or you want to reinstall your current ROM, why don't you format the data partition in TWRP to clear out the data from your phone?

I'll try Oreo out. I originally did try to go Oreo by Nitrogen but all of the Oreo links pointed to the Pie ROMs, so I don't know where to find those at either. I just need something stable is all. I'll check out crDroid 4.7. Thanks for the tip.
As far as the question about reinstalling my ROM, the reason behind this is because I own 2x Shamu's. The purpose behind a new install is so I don't mess the old one up (more than it already is) and then go without a daily driver. It worked well in the past as I bricked one (luckily brought it back) and would have been without a phone for 5-6 days if I hadn't set it up this way. I'm pretty novice when it comes to all this advanced stuff and I hedge against that by rotating between two.
Why do you need a copy of the ROM? If you want to start over with a factory reset, just do one...or wipe data, cache and dalvik in recovery. I would strongly suggest a nandroid first.
If you are looking to put this same OS on a different N6, take a nandroid and copy it over to the other phone and restore it. Make sure the bootloader matches at least the version on the original device.
I get not wanting to loose some look or function that you like, but you are trading security for that. There are several Oreo ROMs that may meet your needs. LineageOS is the replacement to the CyanogenMod ROM you're running. You won't find an official copy because it's been shutdown years ago. If you find a copy on the internet, you run the risk that it's modified.
Also, take a look at AOSiP and ABC ROMs.
If you decide to go to Oreo, you need to bite the bullet and upgrade to the last google stock ROM first so the bootloader is updated. You can get that from Factory Images for Nexus and Pixel Devices .

I tried out crDroid with Oreo and it was laggy. Maybe because I didn't update my bootloader like ktmom mentioned above. Either way, I decided to try out PureNexus after that and PureNexus was speedy enough for me. Lacked a lot of the configurations I had with AnyKernel/CM13, but it offers enough to satisfy my needs. Appreciate all of the help and suggestions in this thread. This truly is a great community. Can't thank you all enough.
