Hi all ,
I search on internet and with search key of xda , but i dont find anything.
When we flash with SmartFlash the P990 there are seven memory partition what are they?
/dev/block/mmcblk0p1 = system partition
/dev/block/mmcblk0p2 = cache partition
/dev/block/mmcblk0p3 = misc partition
/dev/block/mmcblk0p4 = unknown partition
/dev/block/mmcblk0p5 = boot partition
/dev/block/mmcblk0p6 = lgdrm partition
/dev/block/mmcblk0p7 = recovery partition
/dev/block/mmcblk0p8 = data partition
/dev/block/mmcblk0p9 = internal SD partition
Thank you
the ram is not one of they ?
I wonder if the unknown partition could be splash1 like HTC's have?
Would be nice if you could kill the Internal SD partiation and just merge it with data and just stick with an External SD as /sdcard.

Hello
I am trying to use fdisk to partition optimus' nand. I want to delete the last 2 partitions /dev/block/mmcblk0p9 and p8 and merge them into p8 but fdisk wont let me do it. It says "value is out of range" and gives me as default 511kb of space each logical partition by default.
If i delete all partitions till p5 and remake the extended partition everything can go ok but these include things i dont wont to touch
For your quick reference the o2x partitions.
/dev/block/mmcblk0p1 = system partition
/dev/block/mmcblk0p2 = cache partition
/dev/block/mmcblk0p3 = misc partition
/dev/block/mmcblk0p4 = unknown partition
/dev/block/mmcblk0p5 = boot partition
/dev/block/mmcblk0p6 = lgdrm partition
/dev/block/mmcblk0p7 = recovery partition
/dev/block/mmcblk0p8 = data partition
/dev/block/mmcblk0p9 = internal SD partition
How can Solve this? Any ideas?
Can someone please upload the contets Of p5 p6 p7?
P5 depends on your ROM
P6 attached
P7 you can get CWM from anywhere really
Thank you a lot rusty its very much aprisiated
Do you know anything about the original question?
No idea I'm afraid.
busybox fdisk -l /dev/block/mmcblk0

didn't worked btw
get notification that i got damaged sd so i removed the internal sdcard part from the vold
but still no big ass data partition xD
btw i don't know anything about fdisk i just gave it a shot
look at that... looks like our phone has 16gbs or wrong declare from fdisk?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=17001387&postcount=12
edit: apparently it was a wrong declare from my brain
Apparently the SU660 has more internal storage than the P99x, so maybe it's got the same amount really, but the P99x is set up to ignore some of it?
Hello.
There are 12 partitions on LGP970 v30c phone.
Partitions Name
/dev/block/mmcblk0p1 = x-loader
/dev/block/mmcblk0p2 = u-boot
/dev/block/mmcblk0p3 = boot
/dev/block/mmcblk0p4 = recovery
/dev/block/mmcblk0p5 = lgdrm
/dev/block/mmcblk0p6 = divxkey
/dev/block/mmcblk0p7 = fota
/dev/block/mmcblk0p8 = system
/dev/block/mmcblk0p9 = data
/dev/block/mmcblk0p10 = cache
/dev/block/mmcblk0p11 = nv
/dev/block/mmcblk0p12 = misc
1.does anyone know what the lgdrm, divxkey and nv partitions are used for? And how can we intepret them.
2.There are two other hardware partition mmcblk0boot0 and mmcblk0boot1. When i open them with a hex editor, its just all zeros.
What is the purpose of these two partition?
Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thank you!

Hi,
i'm a new user and I can't add post to correct thread so I try to begin a new thread here.
I installed cwm 6.0.4.7-jena on my phone and all install process is been completed correctly but on reboot from cwn shell / menu I can't mount sdcard0.
This error from recovery.log file:
Code:
I:Checking for extendedcommand...
I:Skipping execution of extendedcommand, file not found...
I:Volume /storage/sdcard0 is not idle, current state is 2
Error mounting /storage/sdcard0!
File recovery.fstab it seems correct:
Code:
# cat /etc//recovery.fstab
# Android fstab file.
# The filesystem that contains the filesystem checker binary (typically /system) cannot
# specify MF_CHECK, and must come before any filesystems that do specify MF_CHECK
#<src> <mnt_point> <type> <mnt_flags and options> <fs_mgr_flags>
/dev/block/mmcblk0p8 /boot emmc defaults defaults
/dev/block/mmcblk0p12 /recovery emmc defaults defaults
/dev/block/mmcblk0p16 /system ext4 ro,barrier=1 wait
/dev/block/mmcblk0p18 /data ext4 nosuid,nodev,noauto_da_alloc,barrier=1 wait,check,encryptable=footer,length=-16384
/dev/block/mmcblk0p17 /cache ext4 nosuid,nodev,barrier=1 wait,check
# vold managed volumes
/devices/platform/msm_sdcc.3/mmc_host auto vfat defaults voldmanaged=sdcard0:23,noemulatedsd,nonremovable
/devices/platform/msm_sdcc.1/mmc_host auto auto defaults voldmanaged=sdcard1:auto,noemulatedsd

# zRam (zramsize = 64 megabytes)
/dev/block/zram0 none swap defaults zramsize=67108864
If I use last OmniROM I see that sdcard0 is not usable and this confirm like for cwn that cwn-6.0.4.7 that there is a problem with sdcard0 (internal)
But If I use last cm-10.1 sdcard0 is correctly usable sdcard yet if on cwn it isn't possible mount it.
So probably is there a bug on cwm-6.0.4.7 and omni-4.4.2-20140202-jenad-HOMEMADE.
Could be relative to a wrong partition data ? I try to format it from cwm but I receive error and I can't donwgrade to previous cwm-6.0.3.2 (that it works with sdcard0) because there is a check on status of the sdcard0.
Any suggestions ?
Thanks in advance

the problem is i've modified build.prop to try to enable MTP instead of UMS but now i have boot loop (it vibrates) and even after pushing the backup of build.prop on the phone, the phone still doesn't boot. I can only use the recovery.
anyone?, Im sure there is a way but I just can't find one
