WWE_1.23.405.2_103_6275_1.38.00.11_108_GPS is NOT an Official Europe release

after upgrad to WWE_1.23.405.2_103_6275_1.38.00.11_108_GPS i have having problem with my GPS FIX.
i have tryed everythibg.
SR, HR ... Enything!
still, no luck.
i contact HTC via Mail:

Problem_Description: after ROM update, WWE_1.23.405.2_103_6275_1.38.00.11_108_GPS, i can't get a FIX from the Sat's.
the Navigate software "see"the sat's but can't get any FIX.
i did try SoftReset, HardReset.
what can i do ?

Anyway my gps works like a charm!

From ACE Hellas the OFFICIAL HTC representative here in Greece i learned that on the 2nd of April we will be able to download the OFFICIAL GPS ENABLED rom from their site, the rom is ROM: 1.23.405.2
Radio: 1.38.00.11
ExtROM: 1.23.405.103
Ελληνικά: 3.3.0
The last bit is the greek customisation,if you see any difference between this and the Belgian rom please let me know because i can't.
By the way which GPS program are you using?

The ROM is officially supported by the importer of HTC devices in the Benelux (Dangaard) and also in the other countries that this importer operates.
They got the rom from HTC as they don't make them theirselves.
Maybe HTC wants you to believe it's not official, but this is not a test rom, it's really an official rom.

Until HTC upgrade their website to allow downloading of firmware, I'm guessing this is as official as we're going to get.

1. If it is a non official one... I do not think that we can install it without super CID ?
2. I do not expect that HTC will make 3 French ROMS or more (Belgian, French, Swiss...)

No, waiting just for Dangaard italian release (better than nothing...).
Maybe HTC is about to wonder us with a WM6 upgrade?

The part of that letter you should concentrate on is "have not released". That doesn't mean that it isn't an HTC made official ROM. It is quite official to the region in Belgium and was released by their provider...which isn't HTC, but the ROM is made by HTC and given by them to the provider in Belgium. HTC is not going to admit that there is a new ROM available elsewhere until they offer it on their own web site because people would throw a fit when they would be unable to download it. This thread title is very misleading, the rom is not "home cooked". You should spend some time trouble shooting your device setup, the problems that you are experiencing is not the fault of the rom.

The ROM is only official in the countries where HTC has released it. But they won't make a WWE ROM for each country so this will be released in every country

So do I.
If you check the HTC-europe web site, they say " there are not ANY upgrade to ANY of our products...." HTC will not admit they made them for whatever the legal/technical reasons they may have....

Brand new HTC user need eng rom + advice

It is 2 days now i have put aside my M600 Eten for an HTC P3600.
It cames with french and i want english.
The HTC support site doesn't allow me to dl eng rom and load them.
1/ Where can i dl last p3600 rom eng ?
2/ Is it ok to do that
3/ Is there better rom than original htc rom ?

I found rom but i need confirmation.
On my htc there is a rom fra (french) 1.23.406 at wiki rom dl i found what look the best and safe choice in english, 1.23.405.2 us. Is it ok to flash my p3600 with it ?

I have the same problem I both the HTC P3600 in italian version and when I went to the HTC site they asked the serial# and I can download the update only in italian language, I wish to change in english, I need help.

I have made it !
Go to XDA-Wiki download Rom eng (i have taken RUU_Trinity_HTC_WWE_1_1_.23.405.2_103_6275_1.38.00.11_108_GPS.exe as i guess it is the good one), download also your original rom (in case you need to fall back) plus a small app SSPL-TRIN to trick the device.
It is quit simple but it could not work at first time.
Here it works only at the second time... but it it work

The ROM in WWE gave me error 294 Invalid Vendor ID and the SSPL-TRIN I don't know how to use it, can you tell me how to do that?

Rom of htc in Orange spv M700

hi, I'm spanish and I have bought spv M700 Orange(spain) but this don't have the gps activated and in Orange spain don't have the rom with gps activated.
I would like to use the rom of htc but I don't know how use it.

Which HTC ROM do you wish to use ?
The easiest way to flash you device is to use the modified ROM installer with SSPL and the shipped HTC ROM.
But you will loose your Orange ROM for ever.

I like use the latest version that htc have with the gps activated.
I have been reading many post but I don't know how it is done...
I have a problem, I can't download the spanish version from htc webpage because my imei isn't of htc.

just flash an updated radio ROM with the GPS activated.
Not sure if you need to CID unlock it or not though. MAybe someone else can answer this.

It will works with any version of the bootloader, and your bootloader will be updated.
For the nbh : usualy I'm using Winrar to do this job.
Just open winrar and then double-click the .exe of the HTC ROM Updater.
Keep only the .nbh in it (the biggest file...) and then use it with the Custom updater and SSPL...

hi! everyone i just got my htc diamond from bell mobility .my rom version is 1.13 and rom date 10/02/08.as I was going through the forum i found out most of the guys have upgraded to or have higher version .so i tried downloading new version for the rom but htc site says "Sorry, this software download is not suitable for your device." .and there is one more thing even after installing microsoft .net 3.5 i'm not able to use light saber it shows some error. kindly help me out .

is your diamond tied to someone operator? If so have they no update to the just released, but apparently concluded after you have such a ROM old. You can always install some ROM from this page, read the guide how you will take to install HARDSPL, it's just to read you should see that it goes the way. also had problems with it with Netcf 3.5 but in the majority of ROM's are in from the start. good luck

[High priority] Looking for working HTC Touch HD rom and for original one

can anybody give my a link with original flash rom for HTC Touch HD?
I need it ASAP, because my PDA gives me error Microp firmware update and screen doesent light.

But Bodisson, when you have an HTC purchased in Bulgaria and it isn't from the operator, then the HTC site will possible not helps you... For my own HD even today i haven't an ROM Update or download capability, because it everytime say that there is no ROM for this serial available.

Hmmm, that is a problem.
But first thing I checked after buying my HD was to check if there is any support on HTC site for that device.
There was, so I did not return it to the shop where I bought it.
I guess that is not option for you... returning HD to shop, I meaan...
