But ROM updated to CE OS 23569 build 23569 AKU 5.5.0 (XIP/SYS ported)
I present:
Rhodium M-Rom v1.74: A DUTCH WM6.5 rom with DUTCH Sense (Manila) 2.5 !!!
and this has been done...
Instructions (READ BEFORE POSTING BUGS!!):
- If you haven't done before first flash HardSPL, more info HERE
- For users who flashed custom roms before: customRUU.exe needed to flash custom ROM's will not do a total format of your ROM memory on your device so leftovers from earlier ROM's can remain. To prevent strange behaviour of the new ROM (SOD/hangups/bugs other users do not have!) make sure u clear the ROM memory before reflashing a custom rom. The right tool for this (task29) and more info can be found HERE (thnx to Illvdm for this superb tip!!)
- then flash my M-Rom by extracting the rar file and run CustomRUU.exe
- M-Rom is UC compatible. To use this function: create a folder on your microSD called XDA_UC. In this folder you can put your personal CAB and XML files. Through the first boot these will be installed (You will see a message on your screen). To copy your backupped PIM.vol back to your phone I put PIM.vol in the same map XDA_UC and in that map also put a XML file with the following content:

Custom Kitchen
1) just unrar 'KITCHEN'
2) open erviuskitchen.exe
3) Load rom -> M-Rom custom v*.**.erv
4) adjust everything you want (that's where the support stops )
5) Delete all 'packages.txt' files in kitchen and close virusscanner to prevent kitchen errors
6) Create rom
7) When automated proces is done, your own custom M-Rom is in 'RELEASE_Raphael'
8) Use the wrapper to flash and keep your fingers crossed

! From Kitchen v1.33 and up, the kitchen also can be used to create sense 2.1 M-Roms, just use the 2.1 ERV-file !
! From Kitchen v1.60 and up, Sense 2.1 is not available anymore because Sense 2.5 is fast and stable enough for daily use!

COM Builds
- COM1- Builds 217**:
- COM2 - Builds 218**: GUI is 1st stage of finger friendly features implemented. This is the only official WM6.5 released to public. All other COM* Builds are leaked test builds (not even classified as alpha or beta). In this range, the GUI introduces softer corners to various dialogs, the new start menu (Very early builds had a honeycomb theme but although the hexagons have been removed, the icon alignments remain), and the taskbar and menubar have been slightly modified to allow for further skinning.
- COM3 - Builds 230**: GUI from 23001 to 23021 looks the same as COM2. 23022+ introduced the new shorter/expanding taskbar and finger friendly text-based buttons on taller bottom menubar and ever since its been called wm6.5.1 rather than 6.5..
23047+ introduced icon-based buttons.. New checkboxes and scroll bars and recently (from 23069 i think) a magnifier in the taskbar are amongst the newer gui elements introduced in the latest builds..
At some point (im not sure when, kinetic scrolling was introduced..
It appears that COM4 elements are being introduced into this branch such as the new contact application, a slightly modified sms application, and possibly a slightly modified calender application..
- COM4 - Builds 234**: Seems to have stopped at 23420. The newer contact application and possibly the modified sms and calender applications were first introduced in this branch but have since been incoorperated into latest builds of COM3
- COM5 - Builds 235**: At the moment little is known of this branch. 23502 is the first build leaked that Im aware of. It seems to have been compiled at about the same time as 23060 but with superior stability, speed, memory management, Newer COM3 builds 23071 and above have been reported to be superior in terms of stability and speed. However the latest COM5 23506 compared to COM3 23088 (build date is identical) seem equally fast and stable. COM5 builds have the new Contact app and Magnifier, as in latest COM3 Builds, but lack kinetic scrolling.
Apparently, the new internet explorer has been modified as well (but Bikertibi Builds have the old internet explorer from wm6.1 because new one does not handle well on our device)

The 'new' 2.1 manila is used to start with.
I will take a look and experiment with 2.5 also so maybe in the future releases...
Thanks for this upcoming NLD Rom. Will this be the tweaked version of the stock NLD rom? OR the WWE version with language pack? it is a bit confusing because in the topic title it says NLD and in opening post it says Based on WWE rom OEM 1.85.111.1
Can't wait to try it out.
It's not a problem most ROM's are english, but it's ofcourse better to have it in your own language

It's 99% Dutch rom (mostly used official dutch MUI files and some translation by myself) but it's based on WWE OEM.
But I see orignal Dutch 6.5 rom is about to be released. Then I can use original Dutch OEM.
Will upload 'old' rom in a few moments and will start on new version when official Dutch 6.5 is out there....

1) Kitchen...I think I will release it after new Dutch Rom is released. Still too many small bugs in this one which I can not get rid of for now.
2) Yes I saw it too...it's a leftover from my last raphael rom...

Here i am under my original account.
I've been a big fan of my Raphael with M-Rom... But i have to confess that i stopped updating after M-Rom 3.14, since i didn't liked the new startmenu layout on the bottom. Also it's a very stable and fast ROM, though some translation problems with manila.
Since july i bought myself an Rhodium, found no SPL and since a short while i found it to be Hard-SPLed. Then i started to test over 15 ROMs... I've got stuck on the ROM "Shadowline's 6.5.1 WM Build 23060 Sense UI Fix". It's very stable nice, speedy most of the times. But not English.
In the time i couldn't be playing with my Rhodium in better ROMs than the fabric version. I bought on second hand (2e hands) the Universal and the Diamond. I've been testing alot on them too.
Since i just saw a new M-Rom i started downloading it and going to test it in minutes! I want to help make M-Rom the best dutch ROM!!!
Take care and i keep my info posted when i find my idea's or problems. What i already have noticed is that Manila 2.5 is bad for the memory, it takes much and is not running as smoothly as the 2.1 versions. I hope the 2.5 will be running smoother.

Allright, i've just installed the ROM... and after the ROM update my phone keeps telling "wordt geinstalleerd, even geduld a.u.b." The bar on the bottom keeps running like in a loop. But nothing more happens... I've been running the phone now for about 10 minutes like that... but nothing... Going to bed now, i leave it busy on the charger and in the morning i'll see what happened.

Allright just before i wanted to bed i see another screen... But with an error : "install \WINDOWS\ttn7.916.9189.cab, timeout, code=0x99999". There is no ok button. So i restarted the phone. It keeps busy with the proces of installing Windows, as i described before... I'll post later more.. Bed time for now...

Good to see you in the Rhodium section too!!
I just downloaded my own rom from rapidshare and flashed it to see if it was a bad upload, but everything went fine (except the known bugs of course)
The initial startup takes a long time because a lot of programs need to be installed during startup... at the end it should start (did with me everytime...)
So maybe you got a bad flash or something messed up your download.
21 people already downloaded my rom and I have no one (other then you) saying they can not flash/boot.
So my advise would be to download a 'fresh' copy and give it another shot

nice, my phone is in the mail and I was just checking to see what stuff would be available (visited this place occasionally for my TyTN) and a Dutch ROM is already available !
