Hi I have the following problem:
Home button and lock screen button are not working. For example, when I push lock screen button it only turns off screen but does not lock it.
Also my home button is not working anymore.
If somebody has had same issues and know the solution please let me know!

Try factory reset your OB first, after that see the problems still exist or not, if yes, please send back to the LG service centre
Factory reset worked for the exact problem.
I suppose it was caused by an app or some launcher (tried ADW and Launcher Pro).

For some reason a long press on the red End Call button on my v1615 doesn't lock the screen but I can lock it via the launcher on HTC home. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? Thanks.
A few days ago My Home button stopped working when i try to press it.
I tried deleting a few apps/rebooting etc but nothing changed.
Today i did a factory reset and still it does not work.
Anyone any ideas what i can try next?

i had a problem with my back button pressing on its own i installed an app called button savior and it works great give it a try might help you out

you can get it checked for hardware issue if still under warranty, and if you are looking for alternate to home button, i would suggest you try the notification panel lock screen and recent apps mod by majdinj from here:

It is under warranty so i will send it away to be looked at.
I have did a total factory reset and the problem persists so time for it to go back again!!

Hi, i've got a problem with the Home and Back buttons. Sometimes when i double-click the home button becomes locked and i have to lock and turn on the screen for it to work
Is this problem normal? I've got a screensave and i don't know if that can cause it

Take a look at what you installed prior to issue showing up, if it was the screensaver then remove the screensaver to see if the issue goes away. If it did then it is your cause, if not what else did you do the phone. Don't forget to reboot the phone after each step to clear out any caches or residual programs.
Hi,
I upgraded to LP 5.0.1 some time ago and some time later, google now does not work anymore from the lock screen.
When I press and hold the button of the headset, only a black screen opens sayint "Initializing.." but nothing happens.
It works flawlessly when launching it from any other screen. Any idea what might cause this??
I DID activate google now recognition also on the lock screen, but still nothing.
Someonw has the same issue with his Z3 compact??
Again after installing a new ROM back to the same issue, using still NOva launcher. Anyone has an idea of how to solve this?
Hi.
I have some problems with lock screen button. It doesn't work most lifetime of my phone. Than it woks for one or two hours, and again don't work. My phone was шт service center, but they say all is ok.
When i do factory reset it starts to work, but when i install apps the problem comes again.
I think it is going on of the firmware.
May be someone has the same problem.
What should i do?
