Gmail connection problem

I have a friend with a cdma HTC hero. I've tried factory reset as well as a couple other things but still unable to connect Google account it says there is no active connection even when on WiFi any ideas as to what could be the problem? Tia

Never had this problem, but clear the market cache and try again. Sometimes a second GMail account somehow 'activates' the market.

[SOLVED]Contact storage

Huge problem im running I3C blurry and for some reason I cannot save contacts and I can change display setting in contacts it continues to force close is there any solution to fixing this I cant add my contact from my social networks because of this....

Uninstall your copy of Google plus.
Restart phone.
Then install the market copy of Google plus.
The leaked copy of Google plus is what's causing your problem.

deleting lg apps

ive got titanium backup on my phone and im trying to delete the LG facebook, twitter and myspace app but i cannot find them?
how can i delete them?

I can advise system tuner,go to system apps and choose delet. That will do it. But you have to root phone if you didnt. But i think its safer to freeze.

How many times did you import them? Are you showing all contacts, inclusing sim, phones, whatsapp, gmail, etc from the contact options? That may be the cause.

I m showing just contacts in phone memory. Rest all I had unchecked but still the problem exists

did you sync multiple contacts with your gmail account and then import the contacts
cause that could cause multiple contacts

Care to share for the future generations? What caused the problem, and how did you solve it?
Someone might experience similar problems, justa saying this could help.

Just go to gmail standard version
1.select contacts
2.select all contacts
3.you will see all your mail contacts and cont sync from Android phone
4.delete all the duplicate contacts which ever is repeating more than once
5.even if you delete the contact accidentally you can recover it within 30 days after that you can't

Backing up and restoring synced contacts....

In titanium backup what's the name of the file I need to back up so I could save and restore my contacts that I already synced to Facebook on sense 5.0?
It gets rather annoying syncing over hundred contacts everytime I flash a new rom.
