New XDA Premium Android App Released!
For a while now, we've been working on a premium version of the extremely popular XDA Android App (which has been downloaded half a million times). The premium version, now on sale for just $0.99, removes the ads, plus brings the following enhancements that the free app does not have:
+ Ability to collapse top bar to maximize screen real estate
+ Access to Legacy forums
+ Ability to add forum shortcuts to your Android homescreen for super quick access to your favorites
+ Custom XDA color scheme (changeable to default through Settings)
+ Choose whether to land on first post, last post, or first unread post within a given thread
+ Bug fixes to enhance speed
If you want to try it out (and if you hate it, Android Market lets you get a full refund within 15 minutes), search the market for "XDA Premium".

I like it better than the free version.
The default colors match the website.
It seems more responsive and maybe that's just perception, but it also doesn't have to grab the ads, either.
Choosing where to start when the app first loads is great.
Choosing where to start when reading a post is nice, too.
But...
The number one feature of the premium app is just supporting XDA, which has provided this great environment for us.
I got it just to support xda. Differences are minor but nice.

I just purchased the premium app to support xda but aside from the theme its no different than free version. I don't see any ads in the free xda app, do you guys?
most custom roms have ad blocking built in.
also the xda premium is suposed to allow you to make shortcuts on the desktop but it doesnt work for me.

Don't forget about the shortcut feature. If you long press a forum (as example) it gives you an option to put a shortcut on the desktop.

I too just installed the premium app to support xda, but I like the dark theme in the free version as it will help conserve battery. Is there a way to have the dark theme (black background with white text) on the premium app too?

Today i saw the SGS2 in a shop. The SGS2 has some widgets MONTH, AGENDA and TODAY. I installed the widgets from this forum on my SGS1 but the widgets only shows an error message there is a problem to load the widgets.
How can i make to run the widgets?

I have to say great app. Even on a 4.0" screen.
I found it can be laggy at some stage, but it does work great
Here is the link for everybody wanting to install: https://www.miniand.com/forums/forums/1/topics/136
This is not my app and i do not take any credit for it. All thanks goes to the developers.

Hello everyone,
I've signed up for the beta a few weeks ago and I had the good surprise to receive my code yesterday.
I launched the app but what a disappointment when I realized there wasn't any theme displayed in the app.
After some research it seems linked to dpi or resolution of screen. I tried to change the dpi but no luck.
So did anybody find the good combination to display themes on our razr i?

Yes working fine.
As you can see in my topic in themes and apps and as I said in my topic to your question will not work if DPI or navigation bar has been modified
All the best moley

I don't really like the standard touchwiz lock screen... It doesn't let you move right into the apps and I feel like it doesn't provide enough information.
I like the smart lock screens, but have been having a hell of a time choosing one. I like the idea of having my next appointments show on my luck screen along with the normal notifications and maybe the weather... Do you guys have a recommendation? If so, which and why?
