this is a themed version of Facebook version 1.6.0 application.
Facebook updates frequently and editing this app is a lot of work imo. I will try to update the theme every 3 or 4 FB updates to the app..

I know the "newsfeed" is not themed. It can't be themed, as it get's its images and theme from the facebook website.
Still to do:

If you enter the app via a homescreen shortcut it will take you straight to the "news feed". This is un-themeable to my knowledge, as it pulls it's images/background from the facebook server. I tried for days to theme that, and I gave up..kinda a bummer. The only thing I could get themed on that page was the overhead banner "NEWSFEED" and the cool wheel that pops up if you touch the button in the top right corner.
If you load the widget on a homescreen, and touch the fb icon in the top left corner of the widget, next to the text box "whats on your mind" it will take you to a themed newsfeed type thing.
cheers..
This looks awesome, I'm using it on CM7!!
Keep me Fascinated.
Updated in OP to v3. See changelog.
thanks this version is very Beautiful
updated to DarkHallowversion 4 in the OP.. fixed some problems with the Places part of the app. See changelog. Still FB app version 1.6.0.

Okay, so I got inspired to do this:

...after looking around in this thread here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=761517
I especially liked the cleaner looking themes, but wanted something even more streamlined. So I started by doing the following:
I thought that the samurai wallpaper was awesome, so I found it via Google here:
http://www.outlawdesignblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/04/samurai_me_by_patleeart.jpg
..and hit it with the sepia filter in Photoid. That darkened it up enough for me.
The dock I found on Deviant Art here:
http://kimboprice.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d2ydmvn
...and ran it through GIMP. The only part that remained was the app drawer icon. I made the borders on the app drawer icon bolder, erased the rest and made new text icons and the simple white upper border.
For clock I used the DigiTrans clock skin for Weather & Toggle Widget that is available for free on the Market, and modified the widget background (simple white border and clock underline with a 25% transparency), AM icon and PM icon in GIMP.
To use any of it, just put the clock skin ZIP on your SD card in the appropriate folder and select it through the widget skin wizard in your Weather & Toggle Widget settings menu; the wallpaper is a no brainer; for the dock, using LauncherPro select preferences>appearance>dock background>custom image and choose it from the gallery, then use the included blank icon for the app drawer, phone and task manager apps.
There are two docks in the ZIP, a black one for lighter wallpapers and a white one for darker wallpapers.
Mods, please feel free to close this thread or remove any of my attachments if anything is not in line or if I've left out any credits. Everything I used was found on the web or in the market for free, except Weather & Toggle Widget which folks will have to download from the market on their own.
Hope some of your guys will like this theme.
I just wanted to share this three part Honeycomb style icon(s). I use it with ADW Launcher, but you may be able to use it w/ Launcher Pro (I don't know if it lets you use 3 icons all linking to the app drawer like ADW does).
this is the new look. I made an icon for the dialer; I had tried a few but a lot of them were too tall to fit well with a lot of the cool dock backgrounds that were added to the Honeycomb ADW theme (without being resized really small), so I made a dialer icon to match the height of the apps+ button.
here you go:
this is the (new) look for the dock will be achieved:
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
matching dialer icon:
for the remaining icon in between, i just used a blank (completely transparent) .png file so it wouldn't have the little "+" plus sign in between
I linked this icon to the dialer as well, so if you press anywhere on the left side of the dock it goes to the dialer and anywhere on the right it goes to the app drawer. this worked out nicely. i actually like this interface better than stock and i changed it for aesthetic purposes only.
this is the old/alternate version without the dialer if you like the centered look
(they are white w/ a transparent background so they don't show up well on this page, but they are there)
Pt 1
Pt 2
Pt 3
P.S.
here are 2 other misc icons i made to go w/ the Honeycomb theme
Well done. Thank you.
Thanks mate!!!

Can you also link that dock if possible? Thanks!
it is one of the included dock backgrounds in the free honeycomb adw theme in the market. i can try to post it tommorrow if you just want the image.
Thanks for the tip, I was able to extract it from the apk !
great. i didn't want to post them, since i don't want to share somebody else's property w/o permission. this is my first thread and I am kinda sketch about that kinda thing.
cheers! i was looking for a good app drawer icon..
your welcome i plan to add some more stuff when i get the time
Icon Dev
This is wonderful, exactly what i was looking for, ty
This is built off of the Black Board skin and I didn't even realize how similar to Dusk BAMF it was when I started and I almost gave it up when I found that out! However, this skin is wayyy more complete. I thought I was done before but there were some images that I wasn't satisfied with so I scrapped a lot of what I had done and themed some images I didn't realize I missed. Acceptable considering the main folder has 1,030 images in it. The majority of my images were created from the ground up (not a copy and paste kind of guy). This will be a preview of my full theme for Das BAMF that I'm also working on.
Thank you to: Corinacakes (My mentor whom NONE of this would've been possible without), Lady Angler (Dear friend -Thank you for keeping me focused and determined on this), Chucklehead (Beta tester -You rock!!!), and Tallica (Thanks for Apk Manager 4.9 and some tricks I never knew about)
Features:
- Stock statusbar (Not transparent)
- I'll just say open the music app
- Crimson red colors and icons
- Many images aren't seen (themes for these things are crazy!!)
- ALL images have been themed...1,215 to be exact!! If its not themed, its not in the skin or controlled by it
- Transparent lock screen and incoming call sliders
- Red volume progress fill (speaker is still green at the top -this is pulled from the actual framework and not controlled by the skin unfortunately)
- Green crop border in gallery changed to red
- Lock screen Time and "Screen Locked" text changed to red (date color is pulled from framework)
- Right icon on navbar changed to red arrows
- Replaced digital number font of clock/weather widget to themed flip-like numbers, background is transparent..with a hint of grey
- Custom "DROID DOES" black/carbon fiber status_bar_close icon (pulldown footer)
-Open the Clock app

I'm just goin nuts on inverting stuff so here's my latest.. I got it straight off the market so it's the newest one but still could be months old.. I'm just in an Inverted mood right now so I'm goin for the gold... lol..
It's a signed apk so it installs just like any normal app.. if you already have the GoogleReader installed, uninstall it before installing mine.. the keys don't match so it won't install.. if you have a different themed one from any forum, this one "should" install right over it.. once again, I don't use this app so I tested it as much as I could and it seems to be great.. the only issue is the pop up but I'm on a theme so the text is gray.. if you have black on black let me know and I think I saw where the pop up was called from.. Enjoy!
*Shows up as Dark Reader in the app drawer and Dark Google Reader in the add widget pop up

1. http://bit.ly/V4DarkGoogleReader Dark Google Reader - install like an app
2. http://bit.ly/KameleonGoogleReader Kameleon Dark Google Reader - will self theme to the primary system text colors.. so if you're settings menu text is white, so will this
3. http://bit.ly/101DarkGoogleReaderapk Version 1.0.1 - installs right over my 0.9.3 version but uninstall the stock one first if that's what you're using...This is the Kameleon Series but it's regular inverted on anything besides my themes and a couple others UPDATED LINK *Credit to Decalex for figuring out what the decompiling issue was!

Thanks again! New version running smoothly on my Charge! No issues found.
Once opened, the article itself is not inverted. I am assuming that's by design. I'd that right? Same as it was in last build.
I'll look more into it later today... some apps stream from a site like the status updates on facebook 1.6.2+ and we can't invert that... as far as I know.. but I can look at this one and see if it can be changed.....

[Add-on Theme] White Notification text (for) Gmail & Inbox [Layers / Overlay / RRO]
This "theme" is to be applied via the Layers app on ROMs compatible with RRO. If you dont know what that is, this theme isn't for you.
Hello,
With the help of Daniel Koman and Jimmy Setiawan, We now have a small layer to change the notification text of Gmail to white.
Most apps follow the theme rules when it comes to notifications, so if a theme is done correctly - notifications with a dark or black background will have light or white text. However, some apps (Gmail, Inbox, G+) control their own notification colours.
This isn't a theme really. It is a small adjustment that allows Gmail & Inbox Notifications on a Dark Notification background to have white text instead of it's default dark grey. Nothing else is themed.
I hope to look at Inbox and G+ shortly. I'll add them here if / when done.

Maybe if I have time and can identify the code. Not having much time to theme at the moment..
I know this is a really old thread but just wanted to say thanks! Working perfectly on my Z1 Compact, simply renamed your apk to com.google.android.gm, stuck it in my overlay folder and finally got rid of the highly annoying issue of black text on a black background!
how to use this on OMS ROMs where there is no overlay folder. ??
