[APP] AOSP Music Mod, share music + layout change

Greeting...
I've made this to suit my wife's aging htc magic, I've added music share function and changed some layout. If you like, feel free to to use it.
Change log
1.3:
- build against 2.2.1 source code from android repo.
- Swipe left and right to change track, now with animated album image.
- Swipe down to go to "Now Playing". While in "now playing", select a song will play and return to main UI.
- Samsung Galaxy's style progress bar.
- Support both hdpi and mdpi.
- Fixed progress bar graphic glitch in mpdi device.
- Added highlight/focus images for pause and play.
- Widget: added album art, previous button, and progress bar.

I have tested it with my Galaxy S (android 2.2.1) and Htc Magic (android 2.2.1 and 2.3.2).
Special thank to android team, cyanogenmod team and Eliot (for their code music mod code), and last but not least to xda community
P.S. Use "adb push" method to install and don't forget to backup original app.

I've been running using this for about 5 days and it's nice and speedy. I get the occasional force close with this version, but no big deal.

I also get fc on the magic. I think it's because of the animation, I don't get fc before I added the animation.

No can do. I don't know how to make update.zip to flash via recovery. You may try normal install, some says it's also work that way.

Has anyone been able to get THIS widget to install and run on a GB build? I have downloaded and installed it through the Android Apps folder at boot and it installs fine and shows in the Widgets list, but every time I try to add it I get an FC. I am on AmeriCanAndroid 16/2 SD build.
I'd love to get it working because it looks amazing! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just search for 3D weather widget in the market. Its the exact same thing and its free. Yes it will run on 2.1 and up

I just installed it on my HD2 with MDJ's GB Cyanogen Mod build (v 2.6) and it works like a charm. Been using this build since it came out.
The widget looks not very good in landscape, but in portrait it looks great.

I have this widget running fine on my HD2 running froyo.
i am using Motoman's Evo carbon remix 0.6 SD rom.

you need a launcher that supports resizing widgets to make it work, I'm running it beautifully on mdj's cyanogenmod7 with launcher pro.

I just uploaded a pic of this so I figured to add it here since you were asking about this running on GB!

Hi all,
I am on Razr and I love the Weather/clock of the Optimus 2X. I managed to get the today briefing and Weather and Clock apks from the net, but sadly there is an issue.
The clock digits aren't in the center but a little to the left of the white squares...
So is there a way to edit this...??
I tried all the launchers but to no avail...

[MOD] Simplistic HTC Flip Clock Widget

For Sense 2.1 only
So i thought i'd share my mod on HTC's flip clock. I removed the widget's background thanks to Biffa's help, but i also removed the weather icon to create a more simplistic and minimal effect on my homescreen. It should be noted, the weather icon is not visible, but it's still clickable so you can still click that general area and bring up the weather forecast.

Instructions to install for HTC default skin:
-Remove any HTC clock widgets you currently have on homescreens (to be safe)
-Reboot to Recovery
-In Clockwork Recovery go to "Mounts and Storage", click "Mount /System"
-Go back and flash as usual

Added apks to allow this mod to work with Krzysiec's PureBlack theme and PureBlack Expresso theme.
Instructions to install for PureBlack and Expresso:
-Install Transparent_NoWeather_HtcClock.zip as described above.
-Download either PureBlackSkin.zip or ExpressoSkin.zip below and place on SD.
-Uninstall your PureBlack or Expresso theme if you already have it installed from Manage Applications and change to another theme (like default HTC).
-Reboot to CWM, go into "Mounts and Storage" and mount /System.
-Go back and flash the apk as usual.
-Boot up and choose the theme.
Note: Ignore the text that comes up during flashing, that's from my keyboard mod script. Couldn't be bothered to change it

Of course i would make a Sense 3 version, or at least try because the clock widgets are pretty different from Sense 2.1 and Sense 3.0

Its nice this mate, but the transparent one with the weather icon you posted on the leedroid thread, the screen-of doesn't work. Do you know of a fix or anything?

Did you try Mount /System before flashing it? It worked for me before, but i didn't flash it, i pushed the apk through adb.

Oh I forgot about mounting the system, I'll try that and let you know

Yep...initially I got FC as well, I just click the renamed apk and install it...it worked.

OP was from last October. I am guessing this version was new at the time.

Trio Stealeth pro 9.7 working market
Works perfect on Trio tablet. So happy I was able to root out tablet to be able to install market. Now I can keep it .

S-Voice on Htc Vivid

I Just installed the S-Voice app on my Vivid, which works great,with some minor hiccups hereand there...btw i went ahead and installed the app despite saying i need a rooted phone, which in my case i didnt.
So i Was wonderin, howz its workin for you guys who had a chance to install it..my opinion, Siri works way better...
I Uploaded some sshots too..and just for the fun of it, i asked which was the best cell phone..

Here you go guys for anyone having issues with the s voice giving them the network error. Use this .zip instead. That would mean delete the s voice you now have and flash this one in a custom recovery.

This may not work with TWRP. I had to put all the files that are located in the zip on the phone manually. And in the end i had no luck idk what i might have been doing wrong but you can check the og forum post if what i posted didnt work.

I actually did try that one already. I also tried changing my build.prop. I personally just gave up spent like4 hrs trying to do it with no success so I'm done I wouldn't have used it much anyways. just wanted to try it out.

It didn't work for me. I'm just supposed to install it right? nothing special? as I still get server error.

Installed but not working for me :/ I try to change how it wakes up and it force closes and won't really open

on Dark Raider Rom using Kozmickkick's OC kernal using XDA

Works great for me. The wake-up command doesn't do anything unless I'm in the app but you can press and hold the search button and it will prompt to be the default if you want it to. I'm running stock ICS not rooted and its fine.
I snagged the APK from the 'Themes and Apps' section.
