[Q] Original Message APP

Hi ppl.
It is possible to disable the original application of the messages?
to use another application, the handcent sms...
when I receive messages, I get two notifications from the original and from handcent...and its very anoying
ROM: Elelinux-7.1.0-RC1-Hero-v3.3-Light

Or you can delete stock message app(if you dont need it) with Rootexplorer or Titanium backup

[Q] How to get rid of SMS delete confirmation

Hi,
When I attempt to delete SMS I see the following conformation window on the phone
"Delete All
Selected messages will be deleted
include locked messages"
How do I get rid of this confirmation so it just deletes all selected ?

wipe data in settings for message app...simple, if u want to get rid of ALL messages at a single click

How do I get rid of the SMS warning notification?
Something about "Messenger is sending a large number of messages. Do you want to allow this app to send this message? Allow | Deny"
Is there a fix for this?
I'm running the latest 4.1.2 Nightly (before the EXPERIMENTAL build).

just flash the latest build and tgere is an option in message settings.

[Q] Missing emoji/emoticons in 4.3?

I've just gone from stock ROM 4.2.2 (locked) to ARHD 31.6 (4.3). When I was on the stock rom, I had Swiftkey installed and when I was in the messaging app, if I typed in a smiley face "" , the messaging app would auto convert it to an emoji, even in the text entering box area. But now in ARHD this doesn't happen anymore, it just shows the text "". Is this the Messaging app that's changed or something changed in the ROM? Am I missing something???
These were the emojis that automatically got converted to in the "Add text" field as soon as I entered in "" "" etc

[Q] annoying update notification

Hi, I tried system update download through system menu (Android 2.3.6), downloaded it but not allowed to install it. It asks when I want to remind it later. I set "none" and cleared "push message" setting. "auto update" was already cleared. But when I connect to wifi it still displays this annoying notification and ask want I upgrade it now or later. How I can disable this stupid message? Thanx.
