[Q] Is anyone familiar with the app called Anim Mod?

Is anyone here familiar with an app called Anim Mod? It is an animation changing app for all menu transitions.
I'm running the seeARMS JL2 v0.3 custom rom and I'm curious about this app.
I have seen many vids of other roms where the animations for menus have been changed and "pimped" out and this app will do this as well but it zipaligns the framework and I'm not sure if this will mess up the rom in any way?...
Is there anyone here that can advise on this?

Texting on the tablet

Hey guys,
Not my work or my find. But just posting this d/l link for you all. Allows you to pick a number for free, limited numbers though (I'm a 217 area code and it gave me a 765) but its a start! App is called TextFree and its pretty straight forward. Works like a charm. Thanks theMaginator!

Try text plus you pick a username and it acts as a phone number. Free on market

Text plus does work great. Your contacts know who you are when you text them, vs textfree where you have to let everyone know your new number

Is there any way to Txt to the phone number you get with the data plan?

It actually directs you to the market and shows you the app in the market but doesn't let it download.

Has anyone been able to get a notification tone when you receive a new text?

Here is the APK, seems to work fine even though the market claims its not compatible.

OK so here is my current set up. Using GtalkSMS to redirect all my sms to the zoom and to reply from also using Google Voice got it working. So for now this should do.

the problem is that if it reverts to a paid app, it cant be themed and distributed on xda (or any forum really)

Assuming it uses a similar png system to Swype, couldn't it be themed via metamorph? I know there are issues with distributing the Swype apk, could the same work around be done here?

Metamsorph fine...straight theming the apk not as much

Is there any chance of getting the Reader app from the Flyer to play nice with the Xoom? Someone provided the apk but obviously it doesn't install as it is

it stinks that we can't use these apk's on other tablets....i would also like to know if this would work on xooms

My xda app gets a fc if i log in then view a thread

yeah my xda app was doing the same as well, the xda premium app doesnt fc though, maybe try that one

Premium does work on xoom

Try this is one,,it is not premium but a blue themed transparent XDA apk, let me know if you have any problems,,,delete any previous versions and side load through something like drop box.
2nd one is just in case the first one force closes

I have the same problem as the OP and both of the apps log in but as soon as I click on a thread it force closes. If I don't log in it works.

Thats weird,, here they are working on my xoom, there are some that did force close on me, i dont know why but these dont for me. Make sure you have used a good uninstaller from the market to delete out any previous versions of XDA then side load one of mine or push via ADB to data/app, let me know.

first app you posted looked great but fced. Second app wouldn't allow me to add favorites so couldn't test it. Hay ho Ill pay and see if that works

Stranger yet, the free app has had constant FC issues on my Xoom since April. If the free one isn't any good what on earth would make me buy the premium app? You'd think the author(s) would have figured out what a negative inducement this might be...

The paid app works fine for me but I've decided to use the browser to get some more Honeycomb traffic flowing across the web. I find the site works best in Dolpbin HD.

I kind of thought the same thing but in an earlier thread about this, someone made the same comment and another poster who knew him basically said "sheesh, I'll PayPal you the dollar!" but in a really funny way. The entertainment from that alone made me buy the app.

I've had the same issue with all versions of the free app. I prefer dolphin browsing the website as well.
