Yeah the DCconfig is kinda buggy right now. What I would suggest is set the DCconfig back to the no A2SD and then get anything off of your SD that you need then wipe the SD and then reformat it to FAT. Hope that helps

how...lol(oblivious expanding my knowledge AND NOT WORKING lol)
try to do UID fix in Recovery under Other
1.Plug your phone into your computer and copy all of your essential files to your desktop.
2.Set the DCconfig back to the default with no A2SD enabled
3.Go to Menu-settings-sd card & phone storage-press then press unmount sdcard then "Format SD card"

cuz market moves to sdcard when using a2sd, I dont know why..
Something definitely went wrong when moving the files to your sd card.
Type this on the computer
adb shell
cd /system/sd/app
ls
If you see a list of apps, then your apps are on your sdcard.
If your Apps are there, then in Recovery you can move apps to fat32 sdcard.
You can then format your sdcard, just repartition it using Recovery, just repeat the process, it erases everything of the card. So do Usb toggle in Recovery, move all your stuff and apps you just backed up to your computer and then after you format it, move all of it back and then do the Restore apps back to ext partition or whatever it says.
If your apps are not there or you dont have the directory /system/sd/app then create the folder yourself. Reboot your phone and see if anything works
adb shell
mkdir /system/sd/app

Find the android folder you created.. You can rename it to "android".
When typing in cmd when it first opens type
cd/
then type
cd /android/tools/
If you renamed your folder to android.
wait so if i go to dconfig and turn off a2sd do the apps auto go back to the phone, or what happs there cause i feel like when i use a2sd i feel like my phone is kinda laggy

Hey all!
So my problem is that my SGS can't find any SIM cards...
First of all i got 2.1 android and then i updated to 2.2 version:I9000NEJP2
After that it seemed that my SGS was really slow, so i decided to use CFW.
I installed Darky's v.8.0
Everything worked fine, was really fast.
The next step was to unlock the simlock. First i tried SGS Unlock freeware.
I watched some vids and read some threads and the most of em said or wrote that this app worked fine. I tried it but the app couldn't find any codes on the phone.
After that i decided to try the PC version. I downloaded "Generate Unlock Windows" but this doesn't work for me too. No keys were shown in the box -.- .
So i tried it sometimes, and the result was, that i couldn't use my SGS any more.
Can't find the sim. I tried several times, nothing worked.
Then i downgraded my fw to I900XXJP2 once more, but useless...
does anybode have an unfreeze code, or does anybody know how i could solve that prob?
maybe unlock-code?
and if yes, where could i get this the best way?
Simlock is [3; Austria]
IMEI (still the original one): 354795/04/228598/8
thanks for any kind of help
maybe i'll sound a little bit nooby, but i'm new in that forum and also a new android user
thx
This may or may not solve your problem but some people have found that their SIM card seems to stop working after they have changed their product code. The fix for this is to run the following commands from ADB (you need to be rooted with SU installed):
- adb shell
- su
- busybox chown 1001:1001 /efs/nv_data.bin
- reboot
Or if you have a Terminal Emulator on your phone you can do the following:
-su
-chown 1001:1001 /efs/nv_data.bin
-reboot
AFAIK it can't do any harm running this file ownership command on nv_data.bin even is it isn't the cause of thr problem so give it a try, I hope it helps!
so first of all i got to tell u, that i've never used ADB before, and i do not know what that is and how i can start that
i started to google it but after reading several pages i'm do not know more...
could you pls tell me how i can start and type that?
and also where i can find it?
thx
didnt work
I tried the one with the terminal emulator..
did everything like u wrote, reboot...
nothing happened
seems that i ruined something -.-
maybe an other idea how i could solve that prob?
additional information: i got a little simcard symbol at the top of the screen and next to it there is a callsign
try nav_data.bin copy to your pc and run sgux from cmd or post it here

in market download super manager also install busybox if you don't have
run super manager>settings>select busybox file
then select /system/xbin/busybox
and select enable ROOT function
after that run file explorer in super manager and go back till first folder isn't acct and 2nd cache folder; now scroll to efs and copy nv_data.bin to sdcard
after that you can unclick enable root function in settings of user manager

Not sure but try this. delete files I send you in elf folder and copy these 2 files from zip and then reboot phone and see with code is network lock on or off and if it doesn't work then delete files from elf folder (ones I send you) and copy orginal nv_data.bin back; then reboot phone and with code see network unlock
and please post back for all situations. Also try booting phone without any sim in it and then with sim
when enter code if no locks are there then it should be everything like in picture

OK this is last shot. If nothing worked before try these 2 files from zip on phone and post back; and before coping them delete old ones and also can you post your nv.log from efs folder?
Tried everyone of your solutions and in every case i could NOT see the [ON] or [OFF].
It seems like it disappeard. Only space left, no symbols, nothing.
And the card can't be found too.
ups sorry forgot to attach 2 files. If this doesn't work I don't know what will. then put back orginal file in efs folder.
Also if you know someone who has also sgs still locked to your network copy his files here (complete efs folder)
all files I posted are modified and worked without problem on my sgs. Also please post nv.log from you efs folder here
Hey everyone,
My proximity sensor & light sensor are both broken (repair shop said the cable needed changing), and thats fine with me.
I used to run MIUI and i just disabled the use of proximity sensor and autobacklight and everything worked ok.
I tried CM7.1 yesterday, and I really like it more than MIUI, but the issue im having is that most of the time, when I get or make a call (even if the phone is in my hand) the screen turns off immediately and refuses to wake up again, I have to pull the battery.
Any ideas on how to fix? thanks
you need disable it, try this, i solve problem by this method

First in twrp make sure you mount system in the mount menu then you should be able to push and pull. You probably pushed the file nowhere even though I think you should've got a error message. I pulled the build.prop straight from twrp edited it then pushed it right back. Did it for the tethering hack. ? ?

Hi everyone
I'm trying to get the infamous GPS Location Spoofer installed as a system app on my rooted HTC phone, but so far no luck, so I figured I would try to ask for help here, in case anyone went through a similar situation, or knows what I've been doing wrong. This is what I tried so far:
Installed the app from Google App store, and using File Explorer with root , tried to move the app folder to /system/app or /system/priv-app, , but pasting the folder there would result in an instant reboot and the app would not be there.
So I installed lucky patcher , and using apk downloader, downloaded the apk file from the App Store, copied it over to the phone, and used the "Rebuild and Install" option, choosing the option to install it as a system app , and it would process it and say that the installation was sucessfull, needs to reboot to complete, but after the reboot the app would not be there (not only not showing on the apps list, but navigating to the /system folder with File Explorer and checking app and priv-app I could verify that it was not installed).
SO I tried to use adb shell to do the work , and this is what I did:
mount -o remount /dev/block/mmcblk0p35 /system
to mount the /system filesystem as read write , and it did
cp /sdcard/Download/com.incorporateapps.fakegps.fre-55.apk /system/app
to copy the file under /system/app
chmod 644 com.incorporateapps.fakegps.fre-55.apk
to set the permissions as required
and reboot the phone, but after the reboot, the file would not be there. I tried also to create a folder under /system/app named com.incorporateapps.fakegps.fre-55, move the apk inside; installing normally , changing the mount point to read-write and moving it from /data/app to /system/app or /system/priv-app using the shell and chaning ownership / permissions , but the app will not stick , either rebooting or just re-mounting the filesystem as read-only again will cause everything that was done to be lost; and after trying any of the above one time, doing it for a second time would cause the phone to reboot.
I figure that there must be an image of the /system mount point somewhere , which gets installed every time there is a remount to read-only or reboot , or something of that nature, that will cause any changes made under /system to be lost. Maybe I'm wrong but it seems to be related to HTC phones, since there's load of people doing it on other models without issues, or maybe I'm doing something wrong, since I'm no android expert
Does anyone knows what could be the issue, or what can I do ? I searched the net quite a bit for a solution to no avail (here as well), any help is appreciated
Thanks

And there's your problem. Stock kernel has system write protection, so you can't mount system as writeable. You can, but after reboot, it comes back to read only, and nothing will stick into system partition. You have 2 choices now - disable system write protection on stock kernel, or flash a custom kernel

Sorry you feel that way, but I appreciate the help anyway. This is something that I never tampered with before, so I still had some doubts about the process, but I am liking the whole thing and will install a custom rom on my own phone, been reading about the Ressurection rom and it looks very nice, will try it as soon as I'm better informed
