So I havent installed the new market and today while I was browsing through the market it just closed, not force closed but closed. Now if I try to open it up it either says loading and then closes or just closes immediatly. I tried to uninstall updates but still same thing. Has anyone else had this problem????

ok so I finally fixed this. I never tried to install the new market iut was just a coincidence that it happened at this time. What I had to do to fix it was disable voodoo lagfix. I have no idea why that would be making the market close like that but after disabling and letting my tab convert back the market works again. I havent re-converted it but I will be doing that after work today, hopefully the issue doesnt come back.

i recently noticed when i try to download any app from the android market or update an app it will act like its starting the download but then never actually start it. im running the latest cyanogen rom. i have tried wiping and reflashing the latest cyanogen rom and reflashing the google apps addon. i have tried restoring to a previous backup when the apps were working in the market. i have tried flashing a non cyanogen rom even. nothing i can think of (my thoughts are limited since im fairly new at all this) and still no success. i had the same problem on my g1 with cyanogen and i somehow managed to get that working again by trying similar things but no luck yet with my nexus one and its really upsetting me. any ideas on how i can go about fixing this? thanks for all your help

May sound stupid (and yes, it is) but try launching google talk. Often bby logging in to talk, market downnloads kick off. Seems to be google account related.

OK I tried the uninstall updates idea and no luck there. Opening Google talk also didn't solve the problem. Any other ideas guys? Thanks
I wonder if you ever found a solution to this?
Well for me, I have to open GTalk and close it and reopen and close and reopen...it eventually works when it fully loads... Oddly, it seems to only happen on wifi. I'm pretty sure it's a GTalk issue.
Hopefully the new market system will make a difference...I really hope
How's the amount of space on your phone? Do you see the little hard drive icon? I know that the Market always starts to download stuff but never actually downloads anything when my phone space its low.
Hope this helps!

Cant even open without fc.
Cyanrc3
For whatever reason it worked fine when I loaded it up when I woke up (6:30 EST), but now it just keeps FC-ing. CyanogenMod RC 3 here.
I have two games stuck in market download. "Sniper" and "ScooterHero". They are always showing as 0% downloading. If I try to cancel them, market FCs. I tried uninstalling them and then going back to market, same thing. Before I attempt a reflash of gapps and/or ROM, is there anything else to try?

I had a similar problem twotwo of my apps kept downloading. What you have to do is clear data on the market. Go to setting applications manage applications then click market and clear data. It should take like two days and a couple reboots of your phone. But after that it should be fine.

How come I don't see maps requiring an update? I haven't done an update all because of said bug and I know that new Maps 5.0 was released. Do I need to reflash a new gapps for the new maps?

My android market is no longer working as it says your client is out of date and will be updated automatically shortly. Anyone else having that issue?

I haven't seen that but I have seen my market go from english to spanish for no apparent reason. I rebooted and that fixed it. Maybe try rebooting.
I've had it twice, a quick update resolved it both times.
If it's not coming, go to My Apps in the market to manually make it happen.

On mine this happened too but it would never install the update. Then I realized it restored a market update that was loaded onto my phone running cm7. It must've backed it up and then restored to my xoom. I just uninstalled the update and then it worked. This happened on the YouTube app too. It reverted to the phone version and it had me scratching my head.
Hi..
i'm using galaxy tab running on 2.2 Stock ROM.. and un-rooted.
i got a problem when opening the market, apps , and click the "just in" tab , it just keep crashing.. and there's a notification pop.up saying com.blablabla has stop working, and clicking the "force close" button will close all the apps..
after do some searching in google, some of the articles guide me to hard reset the tab.. but no luck, still got the same problem after hard resetting the device.
any advice ? sorry for the bad english.
Thanks in advanced
This happens to me too. I already flashed a different rom, yet the problem persists.

try to clear market cache go to applications and then go to market application and press clear cache.
Try factory reset if all fails.

I tried that. Hell, I even re-flashed a rom. O_O
thanks for the replies guys.
i asked the local samsung store, and they said it's a bug from the market.
so we must wait till the new version of market are released.
Do the following if ur phone is rooted.
1 clean market cache
2 run market enabler and select t mobile
3 run market the problem should be resolved.

well im glad i found this thread cause i been having this problem i have noticed it when its on 3g every once in a while but it happens most when its on wifi i have reset my tablet to stock like 3 times and have cleared the cache many other times. i was starting to think that my tablet was messed up or broke...
I think its a server side issue from google. I had this issue as well with stoxk and custom rom. Reflashing did nothing clearing cache. I did change my csc and spoofed to a german operator when my issue got magically fixed on its own.
I agree with above. If I remember correctly, this started since the last update.
ok quick question non android related, has anyone been having problems with gmail while using a pc, like it takes for ever to load or it stays loading? I ask cause I started having my market mess up and now my gmail keeps loading even thouth its loaded. I hope I made sense lol im alsmost falling asleep while I type...

it happens to me at times, mostly at work, so im thinking it's a firewall (at work) issue.. what i do is simply login to gmail (using chrome) and once the reloading loop happens, i open gmail in a new tab.
>a little thanks goes a looooong way<
ok cool thanks i just hope google fixes all these issues soon
