Hello there, Im currently running Dwangs 1.2 version of donut.
As i was reinstalling my apps i noticed that CoPilot live would not boot. I keep getting an error saying "Library not found" upon opening. Worked fine when running cyans 4.0.4
Any ideas on how to fix this? Is donuts library stored in a different location?
It works just fine on donut. Are you sure
you're running the latest version of copilot?

yup... i cant seem to figure it out.
exact error is "copilots code could not be loaded by the system" on mine.
Same problem for Spain users.
Hi. It seems to be a Donut issue. I get a error message about a library not loaded and a code that app can´t find.
Regards.

I am on CM 4.1.99 and it is running perfect, fastest it's ever been. startup is fastest also, still has some startup issues, lag on first click of buttons in app..but after i have hit everything once it's zippy....and it's eat alot of memory, i hope apps start using flash 10.1 to run off, it will be less memory hungry then java based apps so inturn faster response.
I would say uninstall app, delete everything off the SD card that is related to copilot, then re-install app, redownload maps using computer..fastest way to do it...and maybe that will fix errors

I just installed CM 4.1.99, formatted the 3 partitions, all from 0, and Copilot says the same error about the library :/
cm 4.1.99 no copilot issues here
Im running Eno rom and its giving me the same message.
I'm on Enom Donut (ADP) and it works fine.
Confusing why it works on some of the same roms and not on others. Not working on my newest Cyanogen. But does on others.
Ligit copilot will work only the cracked has problems.
newest version works whis 4.1.999
CoPilot works fine on donut, the only reason anyone would be complaining is that they have KFC's cracked version. This thread is therefore a thread concerning nothing but warez, and should be removed.
Nope. Before the last Update i had troubles, too
I'm also using Cyanogen's 4.1.999 rom with Co-pilot. While Co-pilot comes up with no problems, I've noticed that its runs really slow for me compared to the previous version before they released the update this week.
However since Cyanogen's new rom cam out this week also, I'm not exactly sure what is the issue.
Copilot stop working
The same here
I just install rom C.M 4.1.9999 and all work fine Except "Copilot" when I tray to rum say (Invalid Library "copilots code cannot be loaded by the system ") and I reinstall again and again and nothing happen please need help
Guys, any chance to navigate to contact?
(Invalid Library "copilots code cannot be loaded by the system ") On Cyanogens 4.2.1...
Anyone else?

Did you buy it or install the cracked version. The legit copy that I bought works, but for grins I tried the cracked version after reading this thread and I get the library error.
Tried firefox for android beta2 today and it freezed my phone, so I uninstall it only to realise that it locked 13MB of my internal memory permanently probably due to bad uninstall. Tried to reinstall it so that I can uninstall it again but it didn't allow me to install again saying that I don't have enough memory (though i still have ~45 MB free internal memory).
Anyone knows where does firefox install to? I couldn't find it in any of the app directory (not in data\app or system\app, nothing in dalvik cache and data\data as well). having 14MB memory locked is really a paint considering how small our milestone memory is.
Please help.
Thanks

1.Do you have a recent nandroid backup? that would be a simple fix?
2. What rom and kernel are you using?
3. Is your phone rooted? Probably yes...All the apps go to /system/app, unless you have apps2sd installed
4. If it's not there and it's not in "manage applications" then probably it's a an error of your rom showing erroneous available space.
Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
1) I am using XT720, we don't have nandroid backup tools yet
2) Stock EU rom and kernel for XT720
3) yes, rooted. I am sure it's not in /system/app (mine has got apps2sd)
4) I guess I'll probably need to reflash the rom to get rid of it then. a bit troublesome but no choice I guess.
Something about the firefox is that if you install it you'll find that the space taken up by the firefox is much bigger than the .apk+dalvik cache+data in the normal app installation path. some portion gets installed into somewhere else which nobody knows where. My friend with a Nexus one try to move it to sd but it simply won't move the whole thing because part of it does not install to the /app.
Anyway, thanks for the help. I'll wait another day or two before I flash it to stock again.
Many thanks

Can you go into recovery? ADB commands actually work as root there.
You also said you have app2sd - I'm guessing the ext version. You can browse around the ext partition if you have something that can read it (like Ubuntu) and delete it from the card as well.
- Look into your /cache partition and delete every download*.apk
- Look into /data/app and look if there is still an apk left
- Look into /data/data and see if a Firefox-folder is located there - delete it!
You can do all this with RootExplorer
Then you should be fixed
Milestone isn't supported. I think I read it somewhere on the mozilla site. There's some known issue logged somewhere

Check if there is any "*.tmp" files under /data/app ?
I was locked some memory due to unsuccessful install of "Pocket Legends", and found out that the apks were stored in both "/cache/downloadfile.apk" and "/data/app/vmxyzxyz.tmp".
So, after having installed the last few iterations of COS-DS (April 21st through May 1st) I cannot seem to get ADW EX installed or any other custom home application. It always ends with that the application cannot be installed. Yoshi RC6 and 7 haven't had this same issue and honestly I've never encountered it before. I've tried fix permissions, wiping caches, switching install location.
I also notice in the thread someone makes brief mention to this, but is replied to by Roalex as being fixed in the latest rom. (which at the time was April 26th)
Any Help?

I would think that is happenning becuz u have the default install location in sd-ext, so try installing it in the sysytem memory
As I noted, changing install location doesn't work. In fact, I don't use Sd-Ext and don't have the partition on my sdcard

Try doin a fresh install, wipe everything and reflash the rom.
EDIT: Before u do that. There is a known bug that still installs apps in the phone memory even though you set the ext partition as the default install location, so they wont install, they will only install if they are installed in the sd card. Are you sure you have an Fat32 partition and ext4 partition on your sd card?
did u click allow moving(COSsettings/Application)?
As I noted, I've tried reflashing the rom (I've done it multiple times for for each of the older and newer versions of the rom that I specified). Furthermore, I stated I don't ever do SD-EXT, the partition simply does not exist for my card. I find it buggy and nasty and quite frankly I should never need it if I have a responsible amount of apps for my phone.
One of the requirements for the rom is to have a ext 4 partition.

number of reasons an app can't install
COS sets market d/l cache to /data/download
this could be the problem
when an app installs it looks at free space on data, and then takes away 10% of the total size
so assuming you don;t use custom MTD you have total data size around 90mb
adw is about 1mb (just over)
so 9 + 1 + 1 = 11
we add adw size twice because cos d/l the temp file to data
do you have enough space on data?
it could be something else
I use ADW Ex , and it was fine with COS
BUT I installed without wiping data
(later I deleted /sd-ext/data and /sd-ext/system to start fresh I use Firerat's ddb )
either way ADW Ex ran fine
how are you installing?
a logcat of what happens during install would be nice
I made a todo list
logcat is on it
I want to write a one stop guide to bring everyone up to speed on tools like adb, logcat, fastboot and compiling maybe throw in a totally basic Linux vm to do it all (some license issues with that , so don't hold me to it)
short version
adb logcat > alogcat.txt
cheat version
http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/index.php?title=Logcat
should be enough
So I managed to get CM7 on my nook fairly easily just now (latest versions for everything) however when I was up and running it asked me to upgrade my cm7 version in the notification area. I did but now I have no access to the market. I see the icon but nothing happens when I press it. If I goto manage applications, the market doesn't appear there either. Did I miss something?
The market worked previously, although it was the old school android market, not the new one. I thought that was odd, but after the cm7 update, the market doesnt open.

Will do. Wiped the SD card to use as storage so ill have to readd the zip.
Thanks and ill report back.
Bingo. I got a different version of gapps and flashed that, everything works and I have the new market as well.
+1 on thanks.

You didn't really have to do that if you are running CM7 and CWR off the internal eMMC. Just put the .zip on the card, boot into CWR and install .zip from card.
But since you are up and running I guess the point is moot for you.
So I've come across a different problem. I'm trying to get netflix to work but the market tells me "Your device is not compatible with this item".
I looked around and I think I found a fix but I needed to install ES File Explorer..I went to download that and...
"Your device is not compatible with this item".
Thought maybe I could do it through Astro, but same message.
How do I get around this? Especially sicne any of the tricks I found to do it are unavailable to me because of the very same problem.
Thanks!

I redownload the GAPP's file from the CM7 Wiki and then try reflashing it. I dont know what could've happened but I would try that first. As for the file explorer issue, I would download the Dropbox app on your NC and then on your computer, search for the Root Explorer/ES APK and upload it to Dropbox on your computer and then istall it on your Nook Color. Although, I am running Nightly 202 and the entire Market is working for me with no modifications or anything. I think the fact that one of the nightly's changed the DPI to 160, either way, I still have access to the entire Market without modifications.

I had the same issue. What I did was upgrade to latest via ROM mgr pp WITHOUT checking 'load gapps' option which rebooted into latest CM7 nightly without gapps. Then rebooted into recovery, with gapps 0828 loaded on my sdcard, chose wipe cache option then loaded gapps. rebooted, had to reinit gapps but then it all worked.

You never mentioned what version of CM7 you are running. If it is older than nightly 200, install a newer nightly.

You need to download and flash a nightly above 200.

Hi all,
I have one big problem: I am getting "Insufficient Memory"-messages every time I try to update google-apps, or twitter, although I have more than 2 gb of free memory. This happens since about one week.
It's on my LG P880, running the latest cm 11 nightly. I use Link2SD to outsource some apps. It first appeared, I think, after installing Link2SD, but might also be appeared earlier for the first time. So I uninstalled that app to look whether there is a change, but nothing happened. So now it's back on my phone.
Screenshots with the most important information are attached.
I would he happy about help, because I don't want to re-install cm with the gapps (which are also the latest for 4.4.4)

The name of the .zip is: pa_gapps-stock-4.4.4-20150117-signed, Size is 410 mb.
In the same download-file are also 2 jb-gapps, but they can't be the one I installed, because the size is too small with about 80-90mb
i will suggest you to do clean install with this gapps http://forum.xda-developers.com/par...inal-post-tkruzze-regarding-pa-gapps-t3064539
Thanks, started downloading some of theese. What file shall I take: the stock or the modular, or both?

I have pico modular 99mb... Becouse you dont need all apps, and your device will run smoothly.
One last question: Do I need to totaly re-install cm and install then the gapps or just install the gapps to the existing system?
I would recoomend you to do clean install.
