I have tried searching on the forums and using all possible methods I could think of to make T-mobile wifi calling app work on Nexus one with MIUI 1.7.15 ROM. I have tried following things
1) Installed MIUI 1.7.15 and then flashed the zip from unforgiven512 here
2) Then I tried the the method on this thread post
The first methods gave me FC's each time I tried to start the app and the second methods resulted in bootloop.
Can someone please help me with fixing this issue ? I get a terrible reception and this is one thing which will really solve my problems along with letting me use MIUI
bump
Then install cm7. Unforgivings thread title clearly states for cm7.

That's what I am doing. I want to use it with MIUI and that's what I have asked. If anybody has any idea about it or knows what should be done I am ready to work. If someone can point me to some material which I can read and then attempt to fix it myself I am ready for that too.
interested in this as well.
bump Anybody ?

Sorry if this is the wrong section, it wouldn't let me post in the development thread so...
Anyways I was having issues with the GR- 12 Rom, whenever i make a phone call or try to the phone app crashes and my signal and data go away for a while then come back or i have to reboot. Does the same thing when someone calls me it just crashes. I've tried restoring back to stock, wiping everything and reinstalling it, still had the same problem. I tried searching the thread didn't look like it was a problem for anyone else. Anyone else have this problem or know the solution for it? Thanks
No problems these Rom is awesome.

you need to redownload gr-12, and put new phone.apk to system/app/

"these rom is awesome" while super helpful, is pointless, keep these posts in your head.
There are 2 threads you need to read, in android developement there is a gr-12 thread, read it, there's also a q&a thread for gr-12 in, funny enough, q&a, read it too, when you're done reading, then post a question in the q&a section. You'll find the same problem there and probably some help. Good luck

The intial release of GR-12 had issues with the call tones causing the phone.apk to fc. Either disable the call tones or redownload GR-12 since the current one has the fix.
thanks guys, ill re-download it and give it a try
had the same problem and it seriously annoyed me to figure it out.. ended up on continuum. problem solved
Hey,
If you haven't solved the problem yet (downloading the new gr-12 would help) but here's something else:
I was having this issue too, then browsed the gr-XX thread.
Go to page 193, and download the phone.apk someone posted from gr-11.
Use root explorer or adb to put it in system/app (delete the one there first, and in between the annoying fc notifications paste the phone.apk you dl'd there)
Haven't had a problem after that yet.
I really dont know why. I do follow the installation instruction. But no signal at all. Also i've tried flashing other modems&radio, but all failed...
Only the miui 1.63 works good for me.
Can anyone help me?
Thx in advance!
Regards,
Please post in the CM7-specific sticky at the top of the page and always do a search before starting a new thread.
You need to use an appropriate radio. both miui and cm7 now use a different radio partition. Go to either thread and search it out. There are links to working modems

Thx for your patient reply~
"now use a different radio partition",could you tell me will the flash zip change the partition automatically?BUT i got a data roaming after flashing the latest miui an cm7 zips.
Or i should change the partition manually? If so,how can i do this?
Of course,i do search the forum before i ask any questions, but anything ive found seems useless.
PLZ give some tips, ive really got stuck with it
Once again, try posting in the specific sticky where only people knowledgeable about your ROM will see it. That's what they're here for.
Hi everybody,
Sorry I would post a reply in the actual thread here but they said I need at least 10 posts to post there, and I'm not an active poster though I do use the forums a lot to clear up my doubts. I've tried searching for this problem elsewhere but there is only so much I can gather from browsing forums.. Any help is appreciated!
I just installed the newest version of EnergyROM (4th July) and my Wifi in my power settings shows "Error". I used the 21st Feb version of EnergyROM previously before flashing "Nik_IncredibleS_TriNiTy_SensationXL V 5.0 Final". Wifi was working without any issues on both but when I installed the new one it showed an Error..
I found a solution but it was for the Amaze 4G and I couldn't find an equivalent solution, so I'd appreciate if someone can help me as I have a limited data plan and use wifi at my workplace and when I'm home.
Thank you

I tried installing a new kernel, 2.6.35.14-UNITY-V10-gf17016b.zip but apparently it's the same version yet it was supposed to fix the wifi problem.. Any help please?
am guessing you've flashed the wrong kernel and/or not done it correctly.
do a clean wipe, install energy rom, download the kernel as suggested in the energy rom thread & flash it..
should work..
i don't think this is necessary but you can also try an app called wi-fi fix (or wifix or something like that)
thanks!

I've actually tried flashing the ROM again but it didn't work; and for my kernel that I flashed, I found that I was actually flashing the same kernel that came together with the ROM..
I've tried several Wifi Fix apps but none has worked.. Attached is a screenshot of the Error.

I am having the same problem right now, at first I thought that something might have gone wrong with my slimbean rom, so I flashed the latest 4.2.2 and still the same problem...no signal. I tried to use my sim card in a different device and still no signal but my brother's simcard worked on my SGS!! I'm not sure what's happening, maybe someone can explain how to fix this
Have you posted this on the Slim Thread where you got the Rom
As there may have been other users with same issue that has solved it!

I'm itching to flash this ROM and just want to verify that TWRP will remain intact. Don't need to accidentally wipe my internal storage. Thanks.

Yes, TWRP will remain in-tact. I've dirty flashed and fresh-clean flashed this rom multiple times running some various tests for myself and haven't once run into an issue. This is an outstanding update to the phone and a solid rom to start with as a base for your tweaking and modding.

Same here, dirty flashed the rooted ROM by MicroMod using FlashFire, TWRP remained intact.
Is GPS working with this ROM? I know it's a silly question but I've had bad luck with GPS on my previous phones.
Software Used to Flash LG G4?
Hi All,
Coming directly from years of Samsung and I'm really digging this LG G4! I'd love to root it so I can adjust DPI/resolution as well as get rid of/freeze a bunch of the bloat. It looks like there are plenty of ROMs that will work for me which is fantastic! However, I have no clue where to begin flashing the bootstack and ROM. I was planning on trying the process described at http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-g4/development/rom-g4-h811-10n-stock-rooted-rom-t3188858 but I am not sure what application/software to use in order to do this flashing. Can someone please point in the right direction as to the process of flashing the bootstrap and ROM? Many thanks in advance!
Kind regards,
Janky Jay, III

Never mind about the above question. I'm an idiot. I see at the top that TWRP is being used... DUH.
I flashed the stock rooted rom
I was rooted fine on the 10h no problems at all..I flashed the 10n version earlier today no real problems other than my wifi calling keeps giving me error: er081 " unable to connect"....Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this and if there is a fix for it..Thanks in advance

@bigasaucy do you have xposed framework installed? Currently the xposed framework seems to break wifi calling for a lot of people using 10n, I'm one of them
There is another thread on this forum about it where we're all hunting a solution.

@DRSdroid I read about the xposed framework affecting things, but I never installed..It seems my problem has corrected itself, it may have just been the range of my wife..hope you get your issue fixed!! and thanks for the reply

A long-range wife will solve many life problems, so make sure you always marry one with sufficient range.
On a more serious note, here's the WiFi Calling thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-g4/help/wifi-calling-errors-10n-update-t3191362
I hope we can figure out why Xposed breaks it and fix it.

If WiFi Calling doesn't work on a totally stock, unmodified phone, you either need a new SIM card, a certificate update sent to your SIM card, or update your E911 address. Contact T-Mobile Support to resolve these.

Tha'ts not the case. I'm running the "Unbloated stock rooted ROM" that this thread refers to. Wifi calling hasn't worked since. I see other posts in the original thread with the same problems. Unfortunately, due to my account being new, I can't post there...
Apparently, one person put the factory ROM back on the phone, did a factory reset, THEN re-applied the "unbloated stock ROM" and it they claim that fixed their issue. I'll give this a try and see what happens.
