What is the difference from 2.3.3 to 2.3.4? I think number chasing is getting the better of many. How the tab works with the needs of the user is what matters.
2.3.4 has a few nick nacks and some bugs( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=15328904
) that affect a few poor souls.

2.3.3 runs well
I have the Overcome 2.3.3 rom version "Jupiter" and it runs really well. Add in the right modem and your 3g/HSPDA speeds go way up...

2.3.4 o believe it stands for CM7 , if we download Tech CM7 or BOCA they are 2.3.4
i got no idea about the official 2.3.4 maybe some minor bugs fix

It's really just the principle of the matter; no rom is better than any other rom.
Choosing a rom to fit your needs is the best, and most interesting (imho), part of owning an android phone; there's just so much to choose from!
If that's not your thing, there's a new shiny iPhone with your name on it waiting at the Apple store. *sarcasm*
Stock Froyo FRG83 = Stable
Desire Port = Beautiful
MIUI = Fast ( not Done but very Stable)
CM6 = Fast (not Done, not really Stable)

I hope you meant for Fascinate? I refuse to flash other ROMs because yours has just the things I need and the best settings.
I've been having a problem where if I let my phone sit too long without use it won't wake back up. It drains my battery a lot more and won't turn back on unless I do a battery pull

No home button on froyobylaszlo? that is weird, because on my magic everything is working except the search button, which didn't properly assigned to google search.

good for u, I've tried some of the GB roms out there ( but I forgot bout the ginger yoshi ) and most of the are still not really stable for me, that is why I go back to froyo..maybe I'll try ginger yoshi after they release a new version

Actually, the are jumping to CM9. CM 8 was skipped because cyanogenmod wont be released for Honeycomb.
