[Q] Bug in the Stopwatch? - LG Revolution

In the stock Alarm app there is a stopwatch tab that I've been using to time stuff at work. However, I've noticed that once the time gets to 1 hour, it displays 19 hours...
So it will go from 00:59:99 to 19:00:00...can anyone else confirm this? I'll wait for a response for about an hour...

Confirmed bug. But my clock changed to 16:00:00 after one hour.

Change 'other usage' to 'partial wake usage' and see what's keeping the phone up.

use system panel and see which processes and apps are using your cpu. its a free app, but the paid version gives you much more options and shows you a list of each app that used your cpu. that's what you need.
btw, system panel is by far the best app for this on the market!

What ROM and Kernel are you on and how long ago did you flash to it (assuming it's a custom ROM)?
Reason I ask is that I had sleep issues with a ROM that was fine but somehow didn't flash well. Reflashing the same ROM over fixed my battery issues. This might not be what's going on with you just any bit of info can help when it comes to chasing down ghost CPU cycles/battery issues.
Also, did you recalibrate you battery yet? It could be an issue of your battery not getting charged to 100% or dying before <1%
Ok cool I just downloaded the free version do you think I should buy the paid version better?

Hi! I have cyanogem mod 6.1
0 running kernel 2.6.35
9 cyanogenmod shade @ toxygene #2
I flashed a while ago but it seemed ok then. I'm not 100 percent sure but it kinda seems the problem started when I did a backup and a restore. ;(

[Q] Revolt Rom

I upgraded to revolt 1.5 and it appeared my phone wouldn't charge. I switched to the rehome rom but just wondering if any1 else had this issue.
I have no issues. The LED should come on to show charging.
I've Revolted have you?

I have coded it so it would show battery level while charging. There is a zip around post 942 that has a different animation for it.

I don't know didn't show it was charging and my battery was already low so I switched rehome. I have 4g hotspot working so cool for now liked revolt better but home world ok for now

If you flash that zip around the post number he mentioned you will be able to tell it is charging.

Works well for me, had a bluetooth issue at first but it resolved after a reinstall
lg revolution bricked after revolt rom flash
the phone loads the animation and then freezes at the end of the animation. after a few min the screen goes black and has been sitting like this for 2 hours. any help would be appreciated.

Charging Problems

When I let my phone charge over night, once it reaches 100% it starts to go up and down in percentage. This started happening after root and some app freezes/ disable

It might be helpful to name the "some" apps you froze (the "disabled" should not matter). Apart from that: At the second half of your screenshot, the device was permanently connected to power? So it goes down as far as 94% while connected?
Yes that's when I left it on the charger throughout the night. And when you see the slight decrease near the 50% range is when I got a text.
Here are the apps I froze:

I have the same problem using jellybeer and iodak kernel v7 (but also had this problem using optimus prime)
Percentage drop is inconsistent, 92-93-96-98 %, depends on the days
Battery stat reference points are created on power unplug so it's hard to know what's draining battery...while on power, it's not easy to troubleshoot
I'm glad I'm not the only one.
So have you tried to do anything ?
Sent from my LG-P880 using xda app-developers app
I'm heaving the same problem.
Sent from my LG-P880 using Tapatalk 2
At least nothing special about the frozen/quarantined apps. It's about the same stuff I froze (except for "Smart Log Service", "SystemBackupService", and "Talkback"). What ROMs you are on? Maybe that might shed some light (I'm on stock 4.0.3, v10h, and do not have that issue).
I'm currently on stock everything
Sent from my LG-P880 using xda app-developers app
Well, "stock everything" is not detailed enough. There have been several "v10" versions (with Android 4.0.x), and now there are also "v20" versions (Jelly Bean). You need to be a little more precise

At&t Galaxy Note 3 Lag Battery drain

I have had my At&t Note 3 for about a week. When I first got the device I was amazed at the speed and great battery. But for some reason today lag started, rapid battery drain and screen keeps freezing. Has anyone else had this problem

Ouch. Not here. Getting 20+ hours on each charge. Have you rebooted? Sometimes a reboot helps clear up memory just like on a PC. Have you installed anything recently before the issues started?
Yes I have rebooted. Have not installed anything outside of playstore apps..hmmm I did install adobe flashplayer??

Haven't had problems with screen freezing, but I was getting some pretty subpar battery life.
It may be counter-intuitive but my battery life has Drastically improved by turning off power saver. I don't know if the throttle up/down on cpu and brightness is too aggressive and does more harm than good or what but this was the major offender for me. My battery went from ~10 hours to ~20+ on normal usage.
Some other things I did that netted a gain before turning off power saver.
Change Settings/Wifi/Advanced/Keep Wifi on During Sleep from always to only when plugged in.
Freeze app/task for S-Search
Freeze S-Voice
Turn off settings / controls / motions
Turn off settings / controls / air gesture
Turn off settings / controls/ smartscreen
Hey thanks for all the info. Will try all that u suggested
