go to recovery mode, Volume UP + Home button + Power, then Factory reset ur i9003
What about the backupd file.is it useful
Sent from my GT-I9003 using XDA Premium App
How long has it been at the boot logo?
I think (correct me if I'm wrong) that what you apply/remove themes, it clears your devices caches, and immediately after applying/removing a theme, the caches have to be rebuilt, which explains the longer boot times.
Anything up to 10/15 minutes is normal (should be less if you have a lag fix activated). If it stays like that, then you have a problem.
My phone goes on rebooting then samsung logo...then again reboots....i hav backed up my original system files using titanium backup....is there a way to use that backup file....i mean through upload mode or smthng...i dont want to erase my internal sd card memory

Just reflash the rom that you are on
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA Premium App
As per my experience, the backed up files should be stored in SD card/titanium back up folder. So you are not in a risk of losing it. Just you have to flash the previous stable rom, then you can download titanium back up from market and there you will find the back up apps.

I have cm7 and I install the new update every night, and it works fine. I then installed a new kernel 2.6.35.11 AP #2 and every thing continued to work fine. I then went to install RC 4 and when my phone reboots to go into recovery it just doesnt go into recovery it just stays at HTC white screen. This happens Evan if I try to boot up and hold home no matter what I do I cannot get into recovery. So I cannot restore a back up or put the old kernal back on or update my rom. Any ideas would be helpfull.

did you try holding volume down and then power then home when screen comes on?
Ya
Sent from my HERO200 using XDA App
That works but what's the sugestion? When I get there I tried to go to recovery from there and the same white screen hangs up
The phone works fine but I cannot get into recovery to do anything.
Sent from my HERO200 using XDA App
if your phone works, try flashing another recovery with rom manager .
How am I saposed toflash a new rom if every time it trys to go into recvovery it stays at the white screen?
Sent from my HERO200 using XDA App
Evan if I press install new rom in rom manager it has to boot into recovery to install new rom? It just hangs up right at the white screen before it goes into rom recovery
Sent from my HERO200 using XDA App
Re-Flash the same recovery you were using.
Sent from my HERO200 using XDA Premium App
Or you could RUU and start from scratch. As long as you reinstall the same recovery, you can nand restore.
What is ruu? I can't flash anything if it doesn't go into recovery???

F it how do I start from new if my phone hangs up going into recovery???? I'll just do that.

That's what RUU does. Go to the HTC site and download the stock Sprint software update, or get it from here.
were talking about flashing a new recovery via rom manager, not a rom. Either reflash cw via rom manager or alternate like ra from bottom of screen on rom manager. It flashes right inside rom manager, doesnt take you to recovery. If that doesnt work do the ruu.
I found out how to do this connect your charger than turn your phone on and then pull battery out. Then hold volume down and home and then press home again to go to recovery and install zip files again and it will work. I did this and it worked.
Thank you so much that worked perfectly, the last post that is.

Recovery is power+home button, not volume up+home+power ( it is ramdup mode ! ).
1) Place the root file in SD card, not under any folder for simplicity.
2) Make sure the SD is not damaged !!

Power off your phone. Now hold both the earlier said buttons simultaneously. When something starts to appear on the screen, release only the power button while you still hold the home button. You'll be in recovery...

Download mode on Galaxy Ace is accessed by holding down the following keys: Volume Down + Power + Home
You can even watch a video HERE so you don't need to read anything.
You can also watch a video HERE on how to flash a ROM using Odin.

dont unzip the update file after downloading. Just download update file, put it on your SD card (without extracting), hold the volume up + home + power button at the same time. than you most get in download mode (or whatever its called) install update from sd card, reboot.
p.s you may need to check "unknown sources" from your mobile settings.
Don't select apply update from SD, Instead select your file via choose zip from SD.
Hello if i go to recovery mode, click on apply update from SD card,it says 'file directory' not found :'(

Long post but can't really shorten it.
32GB wifi Nexus, rooted and was running Liquid Smooth ROM and Motley kernel, went to update the ROM to rc9 version ,anytime I updated previously I never done full wipe unless using different ROM, anyway flashed the ROM and the gaaps with it and rebooted, immediately and prompted to me to use either apex or Holo HD I choose Holo HD got error saying system ui not responding, tried apex and got the same.
I was on the main screen but couldn't access it, yet I could pull down and enter into settings, everything else looked to be ok, so rebooted back to recovery and tried fixing permission, rebooted and got the same so I though I'll be just restore my nandroid backup, to my astonishment all the data had been wiped, I didn't do a wipe at all so I'm baffled how this happened.
Anyway I done a factory reset and rebooted and went through the setup, got the same system ui not responding, went to settings which could still access, apps and un installed both Apex and Holo HD noticed that Liquid Smooth rc9 had installed but instead of showing the cm kernel it still showed motley kernel.
Back to recovery, factory reset twice, wiped cache and dalvik, rebooted, went through set up process, same system ui error again, went to settings, erased all data, tablet rebooted, set up process same again, system ui, so I'm getting worried so back to recovery and this time I selected format system, data and sd, card and now I think I've completely fuc#ed it up as it just hangs at the Google screen and has stayed like that for over 30 minutes.
Previously asides from the occasional force close issue in the 2 months I've had the Nexus not really had a problem with it and whilst I'm no developer or techy geek I'm certainly no noob when it comes to this type of thing but I'm very concerned now and hoping someone can be of assistance as I sold laptop and primary just use my Nexus (and Galaxy S3)
Thanks

Strange.. But I didn't understand well, after wiping /system, did you flash the ROM back ?
I think you should flash 4.2.1 factory image using toolkit or whatever, then root etc..again
No all the data had been wiped this is what is baffling me, I didn't do a factory reset I just flashed the ROM and gaaps, as I said initially it was the system ui error I was getting but I think I've fucjed it up by formatting the system, data and sd card as all I can see now is the Google screen at boot, I can still get into clock work mod recovery but I've exhausted all avenues as it were, is there any hope I can get it back working again?

Yes ! Really easy to use. You'll just have to put the tab into fastboot mode give it a try I'm pretty sure it will solve everything and you'll start back with good bases as it is full stock !

First Download and install the fastboot drivers...Download the stock Image here:-
https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images
then hold volume-(Down) Button and while holding the Button power on the device..it will take you into the bootloader. Now conne4ct the nexus to your PC...Now extract the file you downloaded (the Stock image)..keep extracting the files till you get the system.img file.Use fastboot to flash that(the command):
fastboot flash system system.img
Boot into fast boot, push a stock image. Ta da. Easy stuff. The basics.

Yes I have, but removed it thereafter, okay it isnt bricked anymore, it starts up now. But since i factory reset it and am now trying to redo everything on the phone, it looks a little glitched, the text messages dont come through, i cant see the text on the menus and it looks to me like the phone itself is glitched, anything i can do? Maybe I didnt fix it prperly?
Are you trying to flash a rom? In your first post you said it isn't in USB debugging mode, is this correct?

Here is the problem: the phone is only able to boot in to cwm. I dont know what happened, but the system got wiped. The process of flashing a ROM goes well but when i reboot the system is wiped again and it boots into cwm.
Is there a way to solve this problem with the phone only, because i dont have the necessary programs on my laptop to solve this problem in a different way, and i wont be able to download them for another week. I do have adb on laptop but i dont know if it could help the situation.

Try removing the battery then put it back in. Turn it on pressing power and volume up. In recovery choose reboot system.

Already did that, but the problem is that after reboot there isnt a system to boot into. So it boots in cwm.

It might be different with this phone, but the phones I've had with a blank system didn't boot into recovery, you'd either get a boot loop or just a blank screen.
I've had the recovery boot loop before and the only way to get out of it was to boot into recovery manually (rather than let it boot into it itself). Which meant removing the battery for about 10 seconds, then making sure when you boot into recovery you initiate it before it does itself.
If it is a blank system then I'd suggest just trying to somehow get a ROM on your phone to flash.
Did you not make a nandroid?
