This time, I will not be making any transparent/semi-transparent MODs.
...And you must be thinking... Oh crap, I loved the transparent MODs!!...
Don't be sad and keep reading!!
Although at first glance, the new MODs may seem to have a stock look, they come with a twist!!
Thanks to he_stheone64 skills, you can now have a custom background in:
Rosie MODs
applistbackground.png (480x762px) in Rosie.apk - changes the background for App Drawer and Personalize page
Notification Area MODs
status_bar_background.png (480x746px) in SystemUI.apk - changes the Notifications background
quicksettings_background.png (480x746px) in SystemUI.apk - changes the Quicksettings background
Framework MODs
custom_background.png (480x762px) in framework-res.apk - changes the Settings background
The background can be however you want it. Opaque (like the favorite picture of your cat), transparent/semi-transparent(like a curtain so you can see what's behind), etc... it just has to match the above mentioned size and name.
.:: How to change the background? ::.
:: Download the MOD you want to use (I'm going to use a Rosie MOD/Rosie.apk as an example).
:: With WinRAR or 7zip, extract Rosie.apk from the Rosie MOD you've just downloaded (don't close WinRAR, you're gonna need it again).
:: Again, with WinRAR or 7zip, open Rosie.apk, and navigate to res/drawable-hdpi folder.
:: Then, drag your new applistbackground.png in this folder and close the apk.
:: Now, drag the modified Rosie.apk back to the MOD you left opened before.
:: To finish, copy the MOD to your device and flash in recovery.

.:: New and improved Remapped Personalize Button by lyapota ::.
Instead of replacing one function with another, lyapota added an extra function to the Personalize Button in the Launcher dock, by enabling long press action to that button!
.:: How it works ::.
Long pressing the dock's personalize button will run LaunchKey.
:: So, first and foremost, you need to install the LaunchKey app to your device or the long press will have no effect.
The app is available @XDA, or a more complete version in the Android Market for less than an Euro.
:: Then, open LaunchKey and set it up to whatever you want it to do when it runs (run an app, open a menu,...).
:: After that, long press away, and it will open whatever you have chosen in LaunchKey.
That's it! Now you'll have a button that can be customized at will, by changing the action inside LaunchKey!

Thanks very much for these mods, exactly what I was looking for and every conceivable combination seems to be there so plenty to choose from!
All looks good. I'm very interested in the combined auto brightness with battery %. Currently use your auto brightness but it doesn't play nicely with the battery % mod I'm using from dude 360's mod page (%stockhybrid_250base.zip),as last installed cancels out the other.
Trying to minimise my display battery drain which is always 80% of total battery consumption so can do without % mod for short term.
Hopefully you'll get the approval you need for the combined mod soon.

Yes, all MODs are made with files taken from the latest ARHD 5.2.2.
They should be compatible with Roms based on 2.50 base, but I can only guarantee full compatibility with ARHD Roms.

You can change the settings order, but always start with dummy_mode1, then 5 settings, then dummy_mode2, and the rest.
Try it out and see if it changes anything.

Only one other thing comes to mind.
The pngs for the icons should be 72x72px. You can see if they match that size, or you can try shaving off a few pixel rows (from the transparent area of the icons) to make them shorter in height.
I know for a fact that if one icon is shorter than the others in width, that will influence the text position, so maybe it can do the same for row height.
This is a case of trial and error.

You had Sense 3.0 AIO or Lockscreen MOD in your device before you used one of my Rosie MODs, right?
As I say in the first post, the MODs are based on files taken from ARHD Roms which are Sense 2.1 not Sense 3.0.
Also, in Rosie MODs section, I say that if you have any MOD or theme that uses the same file from my MODs, it will be replaced!
Since Sense 3.0 Lockscreen also has a Modded Rosie to have lockscreen settings, it was replaced by my MOD, and therefore you lose the settings for lockscreen.

I will always recommend Android Revolution HD rom for your Desire HD when using my theme. My theme is mainly based on that rom and that rom is by far the best out there for DHD :-D
That doesnt mean my theme wont work on other roms, my theme should work on all DHD roms based on 1.84 RUU

You can have any amount of toggles up to the amount of 6.
To choose which toggles are in the power bar you need to open up "widget.txt" in a text editor and change the toggles as you wish. widget.txt can be found in /system/customize in the theme zip file.
The following toggles can be used:

Default is "enablePowerControl"
Simply change to "enableRecentApps" without the quotes to revert back to the recent apps list. (currently this will leave a black bar above the recent app list where the power bar use to be)
Or change to "enablePowerControl|enableRecentApps" to have both power bar and recent apps

you will have to use a pc to make what you need, just delete apk you not want and edit txt file as described, enjoy! :-D
Ive reverted back to recent app list, but theres a big black bar above it where the toggles used to be, how do i get rid of that? Otherwise amazing theme!

I have not yet looked into this or tested this but I will look into it but if you do want a quick fix just flash 2.0.3 theme and pull blue (liamstears).apk from 2.0.6 and install it or add it to 2.0.3 zip
Applied the quick fix, that's alot better.

hi there and thanks for the cool theme. One question though...you mention that "New Blue (liamstears) HTC Skin, access from the personalize menu", the problem is I am using Android Revolution 2.0.6 and I only have the choice of current, slate and blackboard themes. Where do I find the blue one?

Extract blue (liamstears).apk from my zip and place it on sd card and try to install

tried to install it with ES File explorer but is kept saying "application not installed"...any other suggestions?

Its just a simple drag and drop operation for editing the zip and as for re-download you can just drag and drop the attached apk to the zip you already have to make the process quicker but make sure it goes in the right folder ;-)

I just modified few apk´s and jar´s direct in the system, so there will be NO modded apps, or browser or what else!

Please make these changes before flashing
New power bar can be easily customized or edited and changed back to rom default.
You can have any amount of toggles up to the amount of 6.
To choose which toggles are in the power bar you need to open up "widget.txt" in a text editor and change the toggles as you wish. widget.txt can be found in /system/customize in the theme zip file.
The following toggles can be used:
toggleAirplane
toggleAutoRotate
toggleBluetooth
toggleBrightness
toggleFlashlight
toggleGPS
toggleLockScreen
toggleMobileData
toggleScreenTimeout
toggleSleepMode
toggleSound
toggleSync
toggleWifi
Default values are:

After changing them just drag and drop the widget.txt back into the zip and then flash.
Now to change between having the power bar and the stock recent apps you need to edit the "notification_config.txt" which is also in /system/customize
Default is "enablePowerControl"
Simply change to "enableRecentApps" without the quotes to revert back to the recent apps list. (currently this will leave a black bar above the recent app list where the power bar use to be)
Or change to "enablePowerControl|enableRecentApps" to have both power bar and recent apps

Flash this theme with CWM... (It´s better to make Nandroid Backup first! Cause of bootlops). The apk´s of this theme are completely zipaligned and I´ve tested this Theme on Revolution HD, but it should work an all deodexed sense ROM´s...

no, there is NO rosie or sense stuff within ... and also never will be so the theme will be aviable for almost all rom´s!

Theme is based off of the latest droid incredible OTA. In addition I probably made/themed several hundred images. Dark Revenge V3 theme is essentially an earlier version of this, as I've updated a lot since then.

Just copy over the layout files for Rotary and AOSP (/res/layout/keyguard_screen_tab_unlock and /res/layout/zzz_keyguard_screen_rotary_unlock and respective land files) so you don't have to redo your stuff. Thats all i changed in framework-res.

I believe thats in the kernel, I'm not sure which ones have that built in but any of the ec10 kernels or any froyo kernel will work with EC01.

Is there a way for each mod to be separate so those who don't want all the mods can flash what they want? Not complaining about the work (it's awesome), just want to fully customize my phone.

For RCMix 3D tweaks fans I'd like to share a RCTweak MOD I currently use.
This MOD is fully based on he_stheone64's great Theme called "Ginger Basic" but is adjusted with UOT changes regarding statusbar icons and battery indicator I like to use
(and has a different bootanimation)
Please see the attached pictures for some screenshots of this tweaks mod running on my device.
NOTE:
It works 100% on my DHD.
This specific MOD was solely meant to work on my device so installing it on your device is fully up-to-you

Super Smooth Rosie for Sense 3 and 3.5 roms
Introduction:
No matter what you do, no matter which sense 3/3.5 ROM or not matter which HTC device, there is a problem with Rosie launcher
HTC's 3D widgets! despite being initially impressive are just laggy when scrolling between homescreens or at least no where near stable in smoothness, once the widgets get populated with data, scrolling between home screen drops down the frame rate randomly, its never smooth, never locked in frame rate and to be honest with all these floating jumping widgets its just plain annoying. However if you press home and scroll back to the default screen you notice all the widgets gets flattened and scrolls back at liquid locked 60fps smooth which any good UI designer should know locked smoothness is essential.
Its mind buggling why HTC continues to sabotage its own work, reading through the Rosie code you realise they are aware of the FPS issues, the code is made for all their devices then slimmed down to the targeted device but its quit heavy
What this fix will do, it will keep the first widget in your current screen 3d and flattens all the other widgets until you stop scrolling, it will also run rosie in carousel mode during the scrolling, this came up by accident as i first wanted to lock it all in flat mode during scrolling, but this will satisfy those who don't want to completely lose the 3d widgets
Result: super smooth scrolling, especially when mixed with Zeppelinrox's supercharger
Warnings
This will only work on ROMs based on the ruu file number included in the zip filename, therefore you will lose any mod applied to rosie, such as transparent app drawer or themes, you can ask forum members to provide an updated of these mods, also note if you ever uninstalled and restored the sense launcher through Titanium backup this zip file won't work, since TB restores the launcher to system/app/com.htc.launcher.apk, so you will have to unzip, rename and manually push the file. You also have to disable the sensor 3d home screen option from the display menu (if its there)
BACKUP FIRST! and remember this mod or the supercharger script will do you no good if your ROM is freshly installed and still didn't cache and settle, caching needs at least 24 hours of use to settle

Carrousel spin effect: in the stock sense rosie normal home page flipping can not invoke the carrousel spin effect, it only works if you press home and spin it before snaping to the home page, in Super Smooth Rosie if you keep flinging hard the pages it will carrousel

(I didn't test it, but this theme should also work on any other rom based on 3.06.405.1, like Leedroid 4.x.x, RCMix3D VoidU 1.x, DeSenseNG 4.x, .. (it has now been confirmed that it works on LeeDroid 4.0.0)

I basically replaced everything that was originally green with blue, while keeping the icons stock based, I don't like the fancy stuff used in other themes.
I included two goodies, tweaks from RCMix (BIG thanks!) that let you customize the hell out of your ARHD ROM. The other special thing is beats audio, originally from the HTC Sensation XE, as well as working SRS and Dolby effects (as they are currently broken on ARHD), and 5.1 surround sound in video player (big thanks to lyapota!)
Here are some screenshots, this is what you get.
What's currently not working in the RCMix tweaks are the overscroll settings and the stock android lockscreen.
Background transparency in menus isn't changeable as well, but this has a reason. I'm using a method from he_stheone64 (thanks!) to add custom backgrounds:

How to change the backgrounds?
Extract the theme zip, navigate to system/framework and open framework-res.apk (or Rosie.apk or SystemUI.apk, these are located in system/app) with winrar/7zip, navigate to res/drawable-hdpi folder, drag your new hestheone.png (or matching names for other 3 options) in this folder and close the apk. Then drag and drop the edited apk in the empty update.zip provided by he_stheone64 (http://www.multiupload.com/THCTLMRDBU), and flash it in recovery.

The green button press effects in the rosie and the widgets will be changed to blue as soon as the m10-editor works with the new GB 2.3.5 base.

If you want to flash this theme on a freshly installed Android Revolution HD Rom, you have to reboot in between. So, the correct order is: flash ARHD, let it fully boot, then reboot into recovery and flash this. This is true for every theme, kernel etc, otherwise you will have issues.
(please don't mirror the file, I want to keep track of the number of downloads)
Do a nandroid backup before flashing, just in case. If you want to revert the changes made by this theme, simply reflash the rom.
And don't forget lo leave some feedback

are talking about rotating rosie ??? (all icons to rotate when you turn the phone in landscape......for this there was Elegant Blues theme be He_stheone...but is not updated yet for 6.1.0)
or about the wallpaper in the background to move the way there was in AR 5.2XX, when you scroll home pages (sense 2.5) ---this one cannot be done in Sense 3.0

CRT is not possible to be done for the moment, because of htc limitation in sense 3.0 for dhd
