Hi,
I would like to sell my HTC Touch PRO purchased in Dubai (3 Months Ago). It is in mint condition, never dropped, no scratches in full packing with receipts.
Original price was AED 3499/-.
Package includes:
*Full original package contents
*Original HTC Car Kit (Car mount, car charger)
*Fully loaded with and working GPS Software (Garmin XT with full Middle East Maps).
Reason for sale: I just tried on an E71 and like it better, its more stable, although I do love the interface on the touch pro but it definately should be more stable that what it is.
Anyone interested please do respond I'm looking for a price of atleast AED 2000/-.
Thanks
Sam

Response
Hi,
I live in United Arab Emirates, hence the currency, AED. So the price will either be AED 2000/- or USD 530/-.
Yes its completely unlocked and has a new version of RC3 ROM installed on it too.
If you are OK with the price let me know and ill take a few photos. But the device is in mint condition, no marks on it what so ever.
Full specification can be found here : http://www.htc.com/www/product/touchpro/specification.html
Yes it is the GSM Model.
Thanks
Sam

T-Mobile G2X vs. LG Optimus 2X
what are the difference between TMOUS version and the international version?
TMOUS just release this phone today and I am eligible for an upgrade for $200. But I read here there are a lot of problem about shutting down/restarting. So i am not sure if I should buy it now or wait for a week or 2 before buying
only possible hardware difference is the radio
o2x has LG UI, while g2x has stock android + a few t-mob apps
(correct me if im wrong)
The G2X is very much like a Nexus phone. It carries no skin, few T-Mobile apps and the T-Mobile boot screen. As for hardware, only difference is T-Mobile branding.

so that means...the problems that happened in 2x will very likely to happen in g2x...but i do like there is no LG bloatware
Hi guys,
Recently, I purchased an Unlocked Galaxy Note N7000 at J&R NYC. As there is no unlocked U.S. Model, the O.S. that came was Chinese or Korean. I checked the label behind the battery and I concluded the model was from some Asian country. Ok, after some time the screen along with the digitizer broke and I had to purchase a new one (as Samsung Brazil don't fix models from other countries not even paying for the repair).
I purchased one officially from Brazil that is also a Galaxy Note N7000.
I feel it strange though. I seems slower, the screen sometimes lags when scrolling and I don't remember this lag from my previous one.
The question is, can they have different hardware ? Both are N7000, one from China/Korean and the other from Brazil.
Thank you and best regards,
Amid
I can't say for certain, but I know there are different versions of the firmware for each region which could account for the differences you are observing, at least in part.
If they're both N7000 model than they have the same hardware ( unless one of them is a fake, which i'm sure it is not ). Any differences might be caused by firmware though. You'd have to flash the same stock or custom rom on both of them and then check.
Thank you guys. So, this also implies that the digitizer is the same for both so if I can purchase one digitizer from Samsung Brazil it will work in the other one, correct ?

Yes, you are correct
I should have my Nexus 6 from Amazon tomorrow evening. From what I can tell, what Amazon is selling is the generic US version that works on all US carriers.
I wasn't planning on buying a new phone, but my Note 2 took a dive off the table a week ago and landed on the tile floor, shattering the glass. The six inch screen, on the Nexus 6, coupled with the huge sale on Amazon made my decision for me I'll probably try to replace the glass on the note 2 later, so I can sell it. I never used the S-Pen. I bought the phone for the large screen.
I have read quite a bit on the forum, but haven't seen answers to my questions. It is possible that I missed something.
I am a bit confused about the listing of 5.1.1 ROMs on the Google site. They list a ROM that doesn't say who it is for, a ROM specifically for T-Mobile and a ROM for everyone but T-Mobile.
My carrier is T-Mobile. What exactly is the difference between the T-Mobile ROM and the others? If is is only WiFi calling, then I don't care, as I don't use it. If there is more to it, please elaborate.
When I get the phone, I'll note which ROM it has, then let it do an OTA update over WiFi to see what ROM it updates to. Once I put a T-Mobile SIM in the phone, will future OTA updates be the T-Mobile only version or the generic version?
Thanks.
Every rom works on this phone - but only SOME support WiFi calling (T-Mobile specific)
They should explicitly say whether they do or don't support WiFi calling (most don't)
If you don't care for this, use whatever you want. It will work just fine. You can use whatever rom you please.
Once it's using T-Mobile service you'll get only T-Mobile specific updates. If you're rooted or on a rom, OTAs won't happen - so don't expect that.
Just to follow up, the original Android version that was on my phone was 5.0, Build LNX07M. The following four OTA updates were applied via WiFi (no SIM yet).
5.01 Build LRX22C
5.1 Build LMY47D
5.1.1 Build LMY47Z
5.1.1 Build LMY48I
What I find curious is that the last update wasn't LMY48M, which seems to be the latest. Does anyone know what the difference between 48I and 48M is?
I really like this Nexus 6 so far. Although it is taller and wider than my Galaxy Note 2, it is much thinner and lighter. I love the extra 1/2 inch of screen and the higher resolution.
Tomorrow, I go to T-Mobile and swap my micro-SIM for a nano-SIM.
Thanks.
Hello all,
My wife's Note 5 was thrown in the toilet by our daughter. It quit working so I sent it back to Samsung. They said the motherboard was water damaged and not repairable by them. My question is this, there are more international model motherboards for sale on the internet than AT&T versions. Is there a major difference in internal design that would prevent my from putting a N920I board into a N920A? Plus, I would rather have the international model anyways.
