[Q] Scrollable control widget. - Desire HD Themes and Apps

Hello everybody.
In the last 3 days I was looking for a control widget that has scrollable widgets, but without any success. Please help with an application's name that does this.
I'll try to explain better, maybe I'll have more success. In the bottom picture there are 2 rows of controls. I need them combined in one single row. Afterwards, I can scroll between them.

Could try launch x pre on the market.

I need something more simplier, only for the bluetooth, wifi, autorotate etc buttons.

Analog clock on title bar anyone with this problem?

This past week for no apparent reason my clock in the title bar switched from a digital easy to read format to this awful analog old-school clock (see pic). Does anyone know (a) how it happened? and (b) how to get back to the digital format?
I've had this happen before with my Hermes, but I used to flash my phone so often it was no big deal because it would be scrapped almost immediately afterwards. But now I really like my custom rom that I've flashed...I've got tons of inputted information as well and I do not want have to reconfigure everything.
i don't even have a digital clock up there....
You can use kaisertweak or similar to get rid of the battery and use a clock instead.
I've seen this before - it's selectable from a context menu. Hold the stylus on the clock and you should get a Digital/Analog menu.

Excellent, that's exactly what I was talking about...now if I can only figure out how in the world I manage to do that. Thanks a lot.

For those of you who dont have the time in your title bar as I said in the thread...use KaiserTweak which can be found here...

Or by using one of the many other programs that do the same by going here and searching...

iPhone apps I WISH we had. Irealquicksms and SBsettings

I have both an iphone and a G1. Now people slate the iphone for not being open source, but in terms of productivity it seems the iphone still wins out for me, and it is almost entirely down to two apps which I feel the G1 could REALLY do with: sbsettings and irealquicksms. I am trying to use my g1 everyday as I'm considering selling my iphone and hope someone can point me in the direction of something similar, or the same. Best to look on YouTube for a full understanding of these apps, but in shorts....
Irealsms allows you to send an sms from within ANY application, simply by pressing the volume button followed by a tap on the volume icon that appears, or by doubletapping the homekey. This saves swapping between applications if a text needs to be sent, and also facillitates replying. This is invaluable if you are watching a movie clip and really speeds up the texting process...it is the one application I truly miss from the iphone more than any other.
SBsettings allows you to change almost ANY setting from within ANY application simply by swiping a finger across the status bar on iphone. This means, for example, that if one is watching a film, or browsing the web, one can change the brightness, turn on/off wifi, bluetooth, 3g, gps or any number of other functions by simply swiping the top of the screen, upon which a toggle board slides down the screen. A press of the menu key slides it back up again. I am amazed that this app hasn't been developed for android as it is much more efficient than silly toggle switch widgets which clutter the home screen and are far less practical if one is already inside an application
well Toggle Settings by cooolmagic places the application icon in the status bar for quick access, I find that a good replacement for SBsettings
Toggle Settings is definitely an awesome app and sounds like it would be a good replacement for that Iphone app.
I use ChompSMS and they are constantly improving their app. I'll get onto their website and request they add on a shortcut ability. Say double press on the camera button?
Or, another option is "Bar Control" to add a shortcut for ANYTHING to your notification bar.
Keyboard shortcuts are great, too.
I would suggest looking into sms popup. It makes the text msg pop up and you can just hit the reply button after you respond just hold down the home button and go back to the program you were using last.
Why not use the quick launch keyboard shortcuts for messaging (Search button + S) and Settings (no default)?
You can set shortcuts for up to 36 different apps and the shortcuts will work from any application. Just go to Settings > Application Settings > Quick Launch.
You could also just hold [HOME] and select Messaging/ChompSMS to send texts without having to drop back to the home screen (If it was one of your last 6 apps used anyways...)
Fandango would also be awesome.

Bar control allows you to put any app in the notification bar for easy access within most apps. So you could put your messaging app and a setting app (or any other app you may want) in the bar for easy access. The only exception would be apps that take up the full screen and hide the notification bar. Not many of those though.

Show/hide a widget with a swipe gesture

Hello all,
For a theme that I'm working on, I would like to trigger a widget (UCCW and DVR) by using a swipe action from the side. Also, I would like to specify a certain hotspot where that swipe gesture triggers the widget and a second swipe should hide it again.
I think it would be to much to ask for to have the way the widget appears to be animated.
I have already tried SwipeStart from the Play store but that does not have lot of customization and isn't very fluid.
Is there a way to accomplish this?
Thank you in advance

Gripes with new p20 pro

Hi, I recently got my p20 Pro and have some gripes if someone can help.
1. I like to use blue light filter. I want to use it all the time. Problem I have is, phone seems to turn it on and off depending on ambient light. I don't want this. There is some setting in display about automatically adjusting display based on ambient light and I have switched it off but no luck.
2. I installed nova launcher (prime version) and am struggling to use it. I want to add apps to homescreen and also to the bottom of screen. I cant do that. When I long press on home screen, I get option for setting, wallpaper and widgets but I can't seem to add apps.
3. I think the answer to this is No, but is there any way to get notification on always on display?
4. Is there a camera shortcut that can be used to lsu ch camera quickly even when inside phone. My old S7 had a shortcut by double tap home button.
Any help please.
Edited to add 4th question..

I don't think there is a way to do this, other than use a third party app that does the same thing.

For Nova, you go into your main drawer and just hold down the app and then you can drag it to your homescreen

No notifications on the ambient display, unless EMUI 9.0 as fixed this. However 8.0 and 8.1 do not have this function.
4. Is there a camera shortcut that can be used to lsu ch camera quickly even when inside phone. My old S7 had a shortcut by double tap home button.
The only quick action button you have for the camera is to go into its settings and choose the "ultra snapshot" option right at the bottom of the settings menu. This will give you the option of double pressing the volume down to take a quick snapshot and gets the camera activated.
Any help please.

Icon labels or text under the apps icon at the bottom

Dear XDA users!
I just bought a P30 pro. Everything is amazing with the device itseflt, (but for me at least), there is one very annoying and frustrating thing I cannot accept and live with that.
I had P20 lite before, and on that phone, after I changed the navigation to gestures, the icon texts in the last row of the screen at the bottom automatically were unhided. Like "Dailer", "Messages", "Mail" etc..
It is the same behavior for other devices as well, such as Honor8x, Mate20 lite, etc, so if the navigation bar is hidden (by gestures or 3rd party app), the name of the icons are turned ON, because there is enough space to show them instead of the navigation bar.
It makes me crazy that it does not work the same like in the other phones. Why? Is there any solution to bring back, or show the icon names at the bottom, if the gestures are enabled?
Currently it looks so stupid that an unvisible line is under the icons.
Please help. Any suggestion is very appreciated!
Samy, HTC, Pixel, etc all have no icon names in homescreen
