Ok so I updated to CM7.1 RC1 today and I`m seing something strange. The notifications are stacked on the bottom of the notification drawer. I cant figure out how to change that..... Also I`m unable to get screen-off animation going.
Thanks in advance
Ok went to the latest nightly from today and animation is working. Still cant figure out the notification and I think I`m having issues with Deep Sleep. CPUSpy only showing few seconds in Deep Sleep and mostly 600MHz used.... Maybe Im using wrong Governor ?
I`m trying to charge to 100% and reset battery stats, then will leave over night to see whats going on. If no luck I guess I`ll go to 5/30 OC kernel. That seemed to have a good Deep Sleep for me on other older nightlys..
Ok it was deep sleeping all night so I guess I`m good..... Intrestingly went to sleep with 99%, woke up it said 98%, but after going in to CPUspy and looking at gmail it went down to 96% almost right away....
Still cant figure out how to change notification, not to show up from the bottom, but rather from the top

hi,
somebody know how i can enable the percentage display in the battery icon in status bar? i had it already activated once but now i cant find the option nowhere in the settings after flashing a new rom.. i thought it was in spare parts but it isn´t there anymore Oo
another thing is that sometimes when i acitvate the screen after sleep i get this weird color error like a negativ image with really strange looking colors.. than i have to put it back to sleepe and wake again and everything is normal again. i had this with lots of different roms so i think maybe it is a faulty display.. any ideas?
You can get battery percentage by downloading Battery indicator from the market.
I got the same problems with my screen only when OC speed is below 245MHZ. Make sure you have got min 384MHZ in sleep mode.
oh ok..
i downloaded the battery indicator but last time i had the percentage showing ion the regular battery symbol in the notification bar. now there are 2 battery icons :/ ..
i'm able to do this in cyanogens roms.. but havent tried on sense-roms, actually..
in cyanogen-roms it's located in spare parts
ok i found it in spare parts after all.. the thing is, spare parts is in the new rom i have (i think its ezhero) in the settings menu. but u can also download spare parts form the market which i did. and in the market version are a few options missing it seems.. well, thanks guys..
Hey,
i´ve a problem. My i9000 doesn´t turn into sleep mode. the display-battery-usage is around 98%. I think a program denies the phone to sleep.
have you an idea how to locate the program or this problem?
thanks a lot.
Mine is 98% on froyo too, but my phone does go to sleep. Maybe the froyo battery stats are just innacurate? Or the screen is really that power hungry?
can´t be. i´ve done the factory reset and now it works. i turned off the display for 5minutes and the display usage was around 60%. now i install my backup and hope that it works
Hi there,
i have a problem with my milestone and cyanogenmod 6.3.2 (and the same in earlier versions of this rom).
After flashing the rom, deep sleep works for a few hours, and after that, without doing anything special, my phone doesnt go to deep sleep at all.
When i take a look at the battery stats, there is "running" with 100 percent, and partial wake usage is fully accounted to "android system".
I tried to restart after charging the phone, but it doesnt help. With stock rom, i have normal deep sleep accounting for about 80 percent of usage time.
Anyone has an idea how to fix it?

What app you used to see this "battery stats"? If you have a SS or a LOG it would help us to help you.
it's the built-in battery history that can be accessed via spare-parts. i dont know if and where this is logged somewhere as a file.
more information to deep sleep problem

After updating to 6.3.3 I figured out that deepsleep worked until the first reboot. I also noticed that, after restoring 6.3.2 with nandroid, deepsleep also worked before I rebooted for the first time.
Anyone has the same problem or any suggestions (except 'dont ever reboot')?
I had the same issue on 6.3.2. After upgrading to 6.3.3 and playing with wifi settings the deep sleep started to work. One more thing I did was going into sleep mode with CMMod extended button (Zzz on notification bar)

thanks for your response. can you tell me what exactly you did with wifi settings? i also tried going to sleep mode with Zzz button in notification bar, but it doesnt work (screen turns black, but cpu runs at 250 mhz, and no deep sleep).
guys... can someone tell me what is wrong with this picture???
i've got an issue that has been niggling me for the past few weeks now but i couldn't find the time to look into it until last night.
i remember unplugging my note last night at about midnight and battery is at 100% and this morning when i woke up at 9am i saw that it is only at 73%.. what the???
what prevents the phone from going into deep sleep? i only started noticing this after i rooted the phone (am on stock GB) and installed TB.
prior to root i usually lose about 4-7% only overnight which i thought was quite great.. i can't remember if i changed any settings at all that maybe causing/preventing the phone to go into deep sleep...
can anyone tell me how to fix this??

Facebook.......Facebook app has been coded such a way that cpu is still awake so that it could communicate to the server all time and recieve notification.Had the same problem.Removing the app fixed it for me.
do i need to totally remove the app or just logging out would do??
i've had facebook eversince and prior to my root i only lose less than 10% overnight...
i'll try it out and let you know...

Remove that app and see if it makes difference.

however i turned off the background data and walah!! the phone now goes to deep sleep.. even with facebook..
i looked at the note this morning and i lost 8% overnight (about 8hrs) and cpu spy now shows the beast has finally went to deep sleep...
i'm one happy camper!!!
hi, i have an s3 mini running cm11 right now. my alarm never goes off on a morning when i set it the night before. i use neon alarm clock to wake me up but i beleive it has something to do with my cpu going into deep sleep mode. theres also an issue where when i check the phones time on a morning it remains frozen. the only way i can get around it is when i leave the phone plugged in all night and sometimes thats not possible because i need to charge my tab.
is there a way i can get my cpu to remain alive all the time ....i dont mind taking a bit of battery drain once the alarm clock and time is functional on a morning. ...the help would be greatly appreciated...
