Wondering if anyone is having issues with video or flash on websites. I have the latest Overcome rom (Jupiter) and i keep getting this message:
Content Unavailable
This viedeo is not authorized for playback on this device
I am also running flah 10.3
I am getting this message on my hone webpage of Espn on boyh the stock browser and dolphin browser. I have the flash to display on demand. Anyone else having issues?

The usual advice has been to uninstall flash, then go to market and get latest. If you just update, you don't really get the improvements.
It's espn who block the access from a mobile device. It detects flash for mobile, just like hulu. You can try with the hacked flash for hulu.
I unistalled flash and redownloaded it (10.3version) still same issue, mow when i was with the old overcome version i didnt have this issue. Why make things so complicated for us users.

Hulu has officially made it clear that they plan to release a Hulu app on Android "soon" to select android 2.2 devices. I am presuming this will not be released on our captivate because I don't believe it has DRM hardware.
Anyone think they will be able to crack this app when it comes out to get it onto our device?
This Hulu app will be the best thing since a youtube app!
Hopefully netflix will hurry up and give us an app, too. Unfortunately, it probably won't run on our device without some hacking because of the same DRM issue.

I think your forgetting about hulu+. Yours still gonna have to pay.
that'd be awesome if we can get this working along with the netflix app that's floating around here. I have both accounts so either one would suffice.

Here is a working version of Hulu. Make sure you go into Market and uncheck automatic updates of adobe flash player and DO NOT udpdate it.I cant remember where I found it but I have been running it for a while and works great.
1.Boot into Recovery (ClockworkMod). Flash the .zip and Reboot
2.Install Hulu.Apk...Enjoy
If you are having problems, uninstall Adobe Flash updates in the Market app and try again.
Thank you, Too bad they block Canadian IP's.
I've been streaming Hulu on my phone for a month now.

Has anyone tried this with CM7?
EDIT: DOES NOT WORK!!!!
www.playon.tv
Sets up a media server on your PC that lets you stream Hulu, Netflix and a huge assortment of other streaming websites directly to your phone over 3G (no wi-fi needed). It also allows you to stream videos off of your PC that you download to your phone as well. (Watched a few HD movies this way from my bedroom.)

I tried with those direction, i had Flash 10.2 installed while flashing the zip (unknowingly that it was 10.1) after that i rebooted and it got in a loop at the kernel screen, had to get back into recovery and flash my CM7 update.zip file to get it to boot again, after that i installed the hulu.apk which would work but nothing would play, just a blue brick. So i went to try and uninstall flash and it would not let me uninstall. I had to use Root explorer to delete the Flash_player.apk fro the /system/app folder. Then i could properly put flash 10.2 back on. With 10.2 the video tried to load, but said unsupported device..

So, DO NOT do this with Simply Galaxy S II. Won't boot.
Ive been reading up on this for about 2 weeks now and decided to flash nookie-froyo-0.6.8.custom.3.zip. I got market and all the gapps to work fine but cant seem to get any youtube videos on my browser to work i keep getting the error - Cannot play video - Sorry, this video cannot be played.
Is this just an issue with nookiefroyo or is there a workaround. youtube from browser works just fine from my htc aria. Thanks
I'm having similar problems. Flash content works on some sites, but anytime that I try to watch a flash video, the browser crashes.
Anybody have advice?

Switch user agent from default (Android) to desktop.
Does Flash works on other websites? If it does not, backup Flash with Titanium Backup, uninstall, and then restore Flash.
Thanks for the reply!
I have dolphin hd. i downloaded the addon for this and still it doesnt work can you explain how to do this without dolphin, still with the addon it doesnt work thanks in advance
In Dolphin: Menu > More > Settings > User Agent > Desktop
Both times I installed nookie froyo, I have to uninstall flash, then reinstall from the market. This always fixes any issues I was having.
I'm having this problem with Firefox too. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Flash via Titanium Backup (this actually worked with Firefox on my Android phone), but Firefox still won't play Flash, acts like Flash isn't installed. The default browser does play Flash though.
Any other tricks other than uninstalling and reinstalling Flash? Firefox doesn't seem to have an option to change the agent.
Grab the Flash 10.2 that's floating around the forums. It is working great on my NC with the Customized Nookie Froyo 0.6.8.
Flash download

Hulu even works somewhat ok (DolphinHD) after a little tweaking...
I rooted my nook using MN 4.5.6 after I updated to 1.2
My device failed to reboot after I updated the flash player to 10.3, I suggest that no one does that.
Flash only works with built-in browser, for example if you install Dolphin browser it won't work on it.
I'm unable to update the market app like i have done in the past, thus the problem with tilting the device sideways to load more apps still remains.
Anyone has a solution to any of these issues?
bump bump bump
I wish I could be of some help, but at least I can reply as to whether I'm having the same issue.
My (well it's technically my wife's) NC came with 1.1
I updated that to 1.2 from the barnes & noble site, then rooted it with the latest manual nooter (4.5.18 I think.)
I did not update flash however, and flash works just fine in Dolphin HD.
The easiest thing to do would probably be to just flash to stock and then re-root it. You'll end up losing stuff, but it's probably the most sure-fire way to get back to a working state.
Edit: I have no idea what can be done about the market issue. I'm having that as well and it's kinda irritating.
Hi fellows!
Today I discovered a problem with my TAB, when I try to open Flash videos, like the ones on YouTube, the web browser crashes. I have tried with the stock and dolphin web browsers and it always crash when I open a YouTube video. Besides that, flash is working and I can watch videos with YouTube app.
I also tried to update flash from 10.1 to 10.3 but it didn't fix the problem.
I have a P1000L Galaxy Tab with stock rom.
Does anyone know how can I fix it?
Thanks!
EDIT: Well, after flashing an Android 2.2.1 ROM with filesystems converted to EXT4 (HumberOS ROM 1.2.5), the problem is gone and I can correctly use flash 10.3 in browsers. Although, I can't state what was really causing the problems...
I found a thread that many people in Brazil is reporting the same problem. I'm not sure if it is happening only with P1000L devices.
Here is the thread: http://www.androidz.com.br/forum/topic/4581-problemas-com-video-em-flash-apos-firmware-update/ (in Portuguese)
The proposed solution is to download an old flash version (10.1.72.7) and install.
I have tried here and the problem is really gone. Now I can watch youtube videos on Dolphin browser (when I set User Agent option to Desktop) without any problems.
Can anyone with another Galaxy tab version confirm this issue? Or help me to fix problems with 10.3 flash version?
By the way, I'm using stock android 2.2 ROM, but it also seems to be happening with 2.2.1 stock ROM.
I found that the latest adobe flash player that doesn't have this issue here is 10.1.92.8.
Problem solved by flashing an Android 2.2.1 ROM.
Hi All,
Honestly I have searched for this everywhere.....
Can't get the iPlayer App to work. I'm running Milestone AOKP 4 at the moment as the TP came with this pre-installed from ebay. (ITV Sort of Works) Embedded flash also doesn't work and I am redirected to the flash site which says I have it....
I've also downloaded FlashPlayer 11 from the market but that doesn't seem to work. Can anybody help me?
I'm new to flashing with Mboot & ACME (Not really used either) But very comfortable with ROM Manager and CWM Recovery stuff)
Also whenever I go to youtube on the browser (stock / Chrome Beta) it force closes and I have to restart the app. YouTube App is working fine.
Is anyone else experiencing these issues? Is it recommended to move to CM9 Nightlies or Alpha2?

Try doing a wipe / factory delete, wipe dalvik cache and install the latest nightly.
There are many free apps in the market, like doubleTwist, that are great media players.
I don't use Chrome. Dolphin HD, Opera and icsbrowser+ are what I use. Some things that one can't do, one of the others can.
Your can flash using cwm, install zip from sdcard, but you won't have data. But if you have a backup, you can try and restore data using CWM advanced restore > restore data. That's what I do.
Good luck.
Edit: Boot into webos and make sure it's up to date. Should be 3.0.5. Also install the speed tweaks, preware and patches /kernels.
I didn't think the Web OS version mattered if you are running cm?

I guess the webOS version doesn't really matter if you only run android. But I use webOS quite a bit. It's a great os, you'll also find that the battery life is much, much better.
