Hello
A strange thing is happening in these last days, it has never happened before since I have the Incredible s (4 months).
Randomly I find my android calendar, which is normally synced with google calendar, completely empty. I need to go to Application -> Calendar sync -> reset data to force the synchronization again and find all my appointment.
The only thing I have noted is that in the Synch status screen, if I select the google account, the calendar is checked (of course) but there is the round arrows icon close to the checkmark and the icon is steady (the symbol tipically moves when the sync is in progress).
Does someone is having the same issue too?
Thanks
Stefano

Now the problem is over. Probably it was something from google server that has been fixed as I did nothing particular...
Bye

For the past 2 days, I've been having huge issues with my calendar application, on which I rely totally for my work appointments:
1-Syncing to google calendar has been hectic: some appointments sync, others don't.
2-Sometimes the calendar application keeps "syncing" for hours (ie the sync icon in notification bar is continuously on) and when this happens, I can't open the calendar, or if It does open I can't edit appointments.
3-In the "accounts and sync" settings, the last calendar sync date is stuck on a fixed date (June 12, 19:02) although it has synced many times since then (but with the problems described above).
I've tried rebooting many times, activating/deactivating applications sync... but in vain.
Thank you for any help.
PS: I'm on plain stock
Solved
I removed a world cup calendar I had added to my gcalendar, and things went back to normal.
The dates from facebook that go into my calender are showing up in my calender a few hours off. Ive tried other calendars, and it doesnt seem to help. Right now im using Pure Calender. An event on facebook that starts at 4pm is showing up on my device as 9am. Anyone know whats going on? Ive already tried messing with the timezone on my computer and facebook.
It's a timezone problem with Facebook. The only solution I've found is directly importing my FB events to google calender and just getting them from there.
How do you import the facebook events into google? I think I need to mention that the times only show up incorrect when they are on a widget calender that I have placed on my home screen. The actual calender itself shows them correctly, just the widgets ive used show them hours off.
I have this issue when syncing the TouchWiz calendar with Google calendar. My times is off by one hour, so I checked the timezone settings on both the phone and google's, but none of them were the issue. I still haven't found a solution.
I also replaced the Touchwiz calendar with the stock android calendar, but I still have the same issue.
Any other ideas?
I have same issue on my HTC Desire (2.2). Would be cool if Facebook added time-zone functionality for their events, or if someone made it possible to chose an off-set on your device for Facebook events before importing them into calendar.
You can export Facebook events and/or birthdays and import them into Google calendar with FB application called Fdcal (it has time-zone option). Application is not working flawlessly, I got my events to show into Google calendar, but couldn't export birthdays for some reason.
But this will not solve your issues, because there was no way I could get those events to show on my phone. In Gemini calendar you get an option to check on those additional calendar subscribed on your Google one, but they don't show in my phone either for some reason.
The only workaround I found so far is that once those event show in Google calendar, you can easily duplicate them (save them as Google calendar entries), and those will show once the sync kicks in.
I'm waiting for someone to come up with easier solution

i'm having the same issue, the event is 8 hrs late when it appear in my SGS calendar
Has anyone already solved this problem?
I'm having the same issue with my SGS and the XXJPO firmware.
Well I haven't done anything, but problem IS solved on my HTC Desire for quite some time now. Can't say exactly when it was fixed (or if it was fixed by HTC or Facebook), but event times in my stock calendar that is synced with Facebook are now ok.
On my Touchwiz-Calendar it's working fine, too.
Just in every calendar widget I tried so far, the facebook events are shifted by one hour.
So I am in the time zone GMT+1 but the event gets displayed like I would be in GMT+0.
As a workaround I switched the time zone in my phone to GMT+0, so now the times for the fb-events are correct, but this is causing other problems now.
When I open calender and switch to month view, I try to select a future date for which I have nothing scheduled and instead of going to the day I selected, it goes to the last day have something scheduled. Does that make sense? Anyone else find this annoying ?
Yep - happens here also
I work night shifts and want to figure out how to get the times to show up on the lock screen instead of Wednesday - Thursday as I don't work the same times everytime.... :/
Doesn't happen to me - when i press future date from month view calendar, it goes to the future day i selected.
Calendar option: Windows live is ON
phone name and model: HTC HD7 T9292
OS Version: 7.07004.0
FW Rev#: 2250.09.12302.728
Same as BlueGreenWhite, doesn't happen on mine. When i select a future date from Month view, it opens up that date.
It depends whether you are in a day or agenda view (before accessing the month view). If you are in a day view it'll go to the selected day, if you are in agenda view it'll go to the next day with appointment which makes sense as days without appointments aren't displayed in agenda view.
There you go, Mystery solved
Thanks, makes complete sense
Calendar working good.
I sync with Gmail Contact and Calendar. Everything works fine except that the Birthdays recorded into Contact cannot be show/sync on HD7 calendar.
Thanks for the tip, it does now make sense!
Another problem I have just found, after one month has passed calendar appointments disappear from handset calendar (not reoccuring ones) but remain OK on Windows Live Calendar on PC/in Outlook. This is a problem for me as I like to keep all my past appointments with me on the handset.
Does anyone else have the same problem?

I wouldn't call that a problem. Why is it so important to have past appt's on your calendar?
Past appointments are important to keep on the handset as sometimes I need to refer back to certain dates in meetings.
Past Calendar is IMPORTANT

Yes. Agreed. Past calendar is very important when you need to trace back your appointment.
I do have the same problem, I think something wrong with the Sync . . .
Under Windows Live (Primary), the setting only allow to check/uncheck the Mail.
Under Gmail, the setting allow to check/uncheck the Mail, Contact & Calendar.
Sometimes can sync and sometimes can't. Waiting for the FIX from Microsoft.
Yes, I am hoping this will be fixed by Microsoft in the next update. Will be most dissappointed if it is not.
This has been driving my nuts for days, and I feel like an idiot that it took so long to figure out. I'm posting it here in case anyone else runs into this.
Symptom: red "syncing issue" circle showing on your google account under accounts and sync in the menu, but when you go into it to see what's not syncing, all items (calendar, contacts, gmail, etc) all appear to have synced correctly. Also, google services may or may not be keeping your phone awake. You've removed and re-added your google account, cleared cache and permissions, but that red circle won't go away.
Solution: I had frozen google tasks in tb days ago (because I don't use it), but apparently it was still trying to sync. When I unfroze it, it immediately showed up under accounts and sync with a red circle. I then manually synced, which got rid of the circle, then unchecked it so that it wasn't set up to sync anymore.
Problem solved, and all red "syncing issue" circles gone.
On my Xperia calendar, I set the weather units to be in Fahrenheit, but every now and then it automatically changes back to Celsius. Has anyone else noticed this or know how to fix it?
Another side problem I have is duplication of my calendars. I only have one google account synced, yet I see Birthdays and Holidays 3 times EACH in the overflow hamburger menu. What gives?

Yeah. I have the exact same issue with the weather on the calendar. For me, it resets the second I close out of the calendar. I just disabled weather on there altogether.
