[Q] Verizon SAMTABTVL Rapid Charge Sprint P100??? - Galaxy Tab Accessories

I was wondering if anybody knows if the Verizon galaxy tab travel charger, SAMTABTVL will work for rapid charging the Sprint P100 tab.

I lost my charger. I have 2 options for a 2A charger, wife's iPad and my Nook Color, but they both charge the P100 very slowly, like from a laptop USB port. I like the price and form factor of the Verizon charger much better, but no sense buying if it only rapid charges the I800 model.
Thanks

Hello,
I don't know about the Verizon charger, but you can buy (Amazon UK, Ebay or even self-build) an adapter to use non Samsung chargers (e.g. your Nook Color charger).
Have a look here: Usb charge

Thanks. Saw that. Have one in my Ebay cart for $6.50 just in case. Would rather have dedicated wall charger for $18 though if the Verizon one will rapid charge.

[Q] Min current spec for charger ?

Hello all,
I've purchased a car power adapter spec'ed at 500mA. To my disappointment, the Galaxy does not appear to be charging when connected to that one.
The factory-supplied outlet adapter is spec'ed at 700mA.
So, what's the min spec for a charger that would work for the Galaxy ? Any Nokia car chargers that are known to be working (if so, which models)
TIA for the help..
http://tinyurl.com/29zpnsl 5th link and they recommend Dash Genie charger. Why would you like a nokia one ?
Thanks.
Why would I "like" a Nokia charger? Price. And because I'm fed up with buying car chargers and holders each and every time I change my phone...
I got a Samsung branded one (CAD300UBE), will cost you around $10~15. I always try to buy original accessories, because I don’t want to risk damaging the phone or the battery by using a cheap crappy charger off eBay. If you are buying a $700 phone then surely you can afford $15 on a decent charger.
EDIT : If you are in US, Amazon is selling Samsung CAD300UB for $6.69! RRP is $19.

Anyone found some chargers that work and don't cost too much?

Can you share car chargers and wall chargers that work normally with the Tab (fast charging)?
I've ordered few chargers from ebay but they all trigger the "not charging" icon and only do trickle charge. It's driving me crazy, and I don't want to spend 30$ to get the original Samsung chargers
Ive been using my moto milestone charger with samsung cord. It works...i dont get the "not charging" icon but it does seem to take a little longer. One wierd thing I noticed though...it doesnt give the "baweep" notification sound when I plug it in..unless I plug the prop. Cable into the tab from an angle..."S" side of the cable first then kinda tilt it all the way in in one motion. Sounds strange I know, but it works.
Sent from a pimped out G-tab

Get one of these and you can use whatever charger you like, although you will need a 2A charger if you want it to be as quick as the stock charger.

Just read about the scosche gobatt 2 charger. It comes with a galaxy tab adapter and has a 2 amp output. I am going to get one off of ebay.

[Q] S6 Fast Charge - Qualcomm charger

Hi, I purchased a Galaxy S6 Edge whilst abroad and got a 2pin adaptive fast charger with it.
I'm back in the UK and was looking to buy the Adaptive fast charger off Amazon.co.uk however for two of the sellers I saw a load of negative reviews about the charger breaking after a while or it bursting/overheating and burning up and that they are not actually original Samsung fast chargers.
Now I don't really want to walk into an actual Samsung Store and buy myself a charger from them as I'm guessing it'll cost somewhere between £20-30.
- If there are any other sites that actually do sell legitimate Samsung Fast Chargers please do let me know!
I found a popular Quick Charger 2.0 on Amazon which has very good reviews as well as users using it on the S6 and is reasonably priced - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Qualcomm-Ce...qid=1441513304&sr=8-2&keywords=qualcomm+quick
I just have a few questions about using other Quick chargers (2.0) and not the original fast charger on the S6 edge.
1) Will this be unsafe in anyway to use on the S6 Edge, as in it possibly getting too hot etc or would you not recommend using a 3rd party charger and just stick to an original samsung fast charger
2) The quick charge mode on the charger gives out 9V/2A, compared to the Samsung Fast charger which outputs 9V/1.67A. Will a quick charge (2.0) charger cause any harm to the phone or battery by outputting more power than the original Samsung fast charger does?
3) The charger I linked has 3 output modes. Output: 5V/2A, 9V/2A, 12V/1.5A - Since S6 edge supports fast charging will it just use the 9V/2A output or will it get to use the 12V/1.5A output and will this in anyway harm the battery or phone?
4) Could I use the linked quick charger longterm without any problems to the device (I really do plan to keep this phone for a few years).
If there are any other Fast Chargers/Quick Chargers that are compatible and better than the one I linked please do let me know.
Thanks for your all your time! :highfive:

I've been using a Motorolla turbo charger from mobilefun for at least 6 months that has the 3 voltage levels on my Note 4 with no ill effect. The phone will only request the voltage it wants from the charger when it wants. I also use the turbo charger on an ipad and battery pack with no problems.

Can someone confirm details on Note 5 and Wireless Base

I purchased the official Samsung Wireless base (white) and I have a Note 5 (white). Anyways the base didn't quite workout with the case I have on my Note 5. I returened the Samsung Wireless base, though I might have confused the Adapter and Cable. Anyways can someone confirm this for me please.
Does the Wireless base come with a normal Samung wall charger or Fast Charging?
Does the Note 5 come with a thin white USB cable or a thick white USB cable?
I was disappointed it didn't work and didn't pay too much attention on what charger and USB cable I got to repackage the Wireless Charger.
Thanks
It depends which wireless charging pad you purchased (although i don't think you could have purchased a fast charge pad yet because white is still showing as coming soon on their website).
In that case you probably bought the older style pad, which does not have a fast charging rate, and uses a normal wall adapter (not fast charging). I believe the cables are all thin...
Most likely your case is too thick to allow wireless charging, from what you say.
Ok thanks.
Actually it worked fine the first time, but then for some reason the other times it would charge for some minutes and then start blinking and disconnect. I tried it on and off, and it didn't make a difference. I said screw it, doesn't work fine, and don't want that happening at night without me noticing and then realizing in the morning it didn't charge.
I have Samsung chargers and cables stored everywhere, so I might have gotten the wrong cable for that Samsung Wireless Pad (the circular one with LED coloring). I think I confirmed the charger I kept is the Samsung Fast Charger and the thin USB cable that states 5.3v @ 2.0A and 9.0V @ 1.67 which I think is the original as the thicker one don't think would fit on the slot on the Note 5 box.
I think I sent them one that came with another Samsung phone, the one that says Verizon on the sticker tabs, hope they don't find out .

UK rapid wall charger, where the heck are they?

Okay so I'm in the UK and I'm trying to find a UK plugged rapid wall charger equivalent to the one in the box. Why is this so hard?
I'd have thought that LG/Google would sell the standard wall charger as an accessory somewhere but nope.
The only wall charger I can find which claims to be Nexus 5X rapid charge compatible is: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Electronic...id=1462964507&sr=8-2&keywords=choetech+type+c
At £17 it seemed really pricey but after receiving it, I realise that it doesn't even come with a table.
So then I stump up another £7 to get an Anker Type-C to Type-C cable (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Anker-Powe...1462964577&sr=8-4&keywords=anker+type+c+cable) only to find that it's only USB 2.0 rated so isn't capable of doing the rapid charging.
All I want is a spare UK spec rapid wall charger for my Nexus 5X. Ideally identical to the OEM one but.
Why is this so hard?
This is the official Google one:

Dont know if you can get a white LG one though

That's great, wish I saw that before I already purchased the Choetech one. I really don't know why they are so pricey. £20 for a charger is a lot.
