Hi guys..i'm not a lg user..but i heard that lg dual has a custom kernel that let the phone use ui hardware acceleration..so does this kernel really exist??Where i can find it??
Thanks in advance
Best Regards

you might be looking for vorkKernel which has GPU GUI, not exactly sure what it does since i installed it today but if feels really smooth overall.
a thread for it can be found in the development section. hope that helps

Have you try it ?
At my side BOSD...
BSOD doesn't seem to be linked with kernel, if I believe Nightlies Thread. There is only VorkKernel for now to OC CM7.
Perhaps in a few days Horse Power Kernel will be adapted, follow its thread to be informed.
Kernel can sombody explain what it is for. can you update it as well i ama using cyanogenmode 7.1 as wel thanks and regards

Hi experts ,
Would like to ask you about what is the last stable android version for upgrade the LG optimus 2x p999 ?. I already have the CyanogenMod-7-2013 Gingerbread but was wondering if it can be upgrade for Jelly been maybe ?. If yes what's the best way to do that !?.
Thanks in advance !. Cheers !
No such thing as "the most stable".
There are a lot of ROMs out there and a lot of them are stable. You have to go try for yourself and determine what suits your needs the best.
For instance: I love ParanoidAndroid, some probably hate it, some are neutral, and some just like to bounce from ROM to ROM multiple times a day. We all have different taste and needs.
Go experiment, take it as an adventure, could be fun
you can try with paranoidandroid or cm10. be sure to download old bootloader version.

to be honest i don't see the point getting CM10.x and wanting all the stock stuff....
maby you could try a different kernel like iodak/werewolf on your stock rom. To get a lot of settings done on the cpu/gpu side.
it will improve your batterylife and preformance in my opinion and still having all the "great" options from stock.
just my 2 cents.
Wim
Now that i think, you are totally right, it havnt any point change to aosp like CM, and conserv stock stuff.. What i want to, is to have a better rom, improve the battery, something smother and diferent, Than my Phone go faster that it can, conserving those kind of stuff that i mentioned before. You recomend me to install a diferent kernel? On a OS stock 4.1.2? How can i do that? Or if you know a rom with all The caracteristics that i want to, but whit The versión 4.2.2 o if is 4.1.2 be something that you can say: WOW i love it *-* Jaja.
Thanks

Grats on the marriage, bro. I would recommend Camcory's Aoip ROM. 4.3JB
i would def recommend Vanir Rom from Camcory. Ive had no problems with it
Just to further add to the confusion, I liked the aoip 4.2 rom, but the slimbean 4.2 is a lot smaller and I find it very stable. The flash doesn't work, though.
Sent from my SGH-T679 using xda app-developers app
i would recommend AOIP 4.2 (8/10/13) it gives me better battery life than the 4.3 and the 4.2 seemed more stable to me.
This was posted by Wrusry and I would agree with his assessment.
"The most stable and best version is, IMO, the 8/10/2013 build which is called 1.5 and is based on Android 4.2.2. If you flash the "3.4.63 OC undervolt high memory with whitescreen fix" your battery life should be awesome. If not, the culprit could be locations services from Maps. Greenifying Maps helps for this.
While AOIP 2.0 has some nice features and is a cleaner looking version, it does not perform as well nor is it as stable as 8/10/2013 1.5.
I have 3 phones from my family on this ROM and they are working well. (One feature on 4.2.2 that I didn't realize until recently is the group texting feature that becomes available in 4.2.x.)"
Thanks my dear fellow buddies.. I am downloading it rightaway..
This thread served its purpose..
It can be closed now..
