I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE IF YOUR PHONE TURNS INTO A ZOMBIE AND EATS YOU. Should ran faster imo.
So, Ive been manually removing a bunch of things through TiBu for a senseless build for a while now. While theres the rosie script, this removes ALL of sense as far as I know, and then youre not able to change and customize your icons on your lock screen. This is a list of the files you need to remove to get rid of sense. As usual, I take no credit for this, Ziggy, Virus and Eschelon are all to thank
This WILL remove ALL of sense before you flash if you remove them from the zip, however if you dont have a a launcher, youre gunna wonder WTF. I recommend grabbing this one.
http://golauncher.goforandroid.com/ Download the apk for GOLauncher. Virus has made this SUPER easy for us to install stuff BEFORE flashing.
"Added rmk's scripts for user apps this is pretty cool guys!! (the rom will flash a folder on your sdcard named SynergyROM inside that Folder will be another folder called app.user and inside that folder you can put all the apks you want the rom to install when it flashes" -Virus
These are all the files to remove sense completely. For the most part, you can remove these all for a complete senseless build. You can do this BEFORE you flash. When I flash the next build, Ill post what you can remove AFTER you flash in sense. That will be good for those that use TiBu and dont want to have everything just restored on a fresh flash. Give me a couple days to get it.

No you're not. There is a script removerosie.sh but this is essentially for those that want the first flash to be senseless, or to be able to remove only certain elements of sense but still keep others working.

*I'm new to the ROM building, so be easy on me.*

Hydra Kernel stock undervolt v.3 or higher (Supports WIFI Tether in AP Mode).

Install - Use at your own risk! It works on my phone, but am not responsible for any issues you may have.
1. Copy ROM to root of SD card.
2. Boot into recovery.
3. Nandroid it.
4. Do a full wipe.
5. Apply zip from SD card and choose the ROM.
6. Apply zip from SD card and choose the Kernel (optional).
7. Be patient, it takes a few minutes to boot the first time.

**Current Issues**
- Unsigned Error - Users need to toggle off signature verification in recovery to install ROM. Which, I believe, is off by default.
- HTC Flashlight not working.
- Change Log -
v0.1.1
- Added BASH shell and nano text editor.
- Added ConnectBot Terminal Emulator.
- Removed wireless_tether_2_0_5-pre3 and used wireless_tether_2_0_2.
- *Users who flashed ROM v.1 don't need to re-flash with this version, just install wireless_tether_2_0_5-pre3+, unless you need BASH shell*.

if you need any help with future verzions of this rom, i can help you if you want.
i also do light theming too, so if you want a themed status bar, lockscreen icons, etc in your rom, i could cook it in .

downloaded, did the wipe and tried to install. said it wasn't verified. so i turned off verification and am installing it this way, ill let you know how it goes.
installation was successful. everything seems to be working.
one question to the forums, and i hope i dont offend the OP, but if the ROM is not signed, and since i had to install it without verification, does this mean it is more likely that the creator has added something "bad" to the ROM? Again, im not trying to offend you OP, just gotta make sure you know.

You know what would be cool. If someone made a lockscreen using the stargate. And you had to dial a stargate address to unlock the screen. That would be awsome.
Yeah i admit im a gatehead.

Even if its signed there is a possibility of something bad, as you put it. Anyone could create a key and sign it. I don't believe there have been any malicious roms but that is what the community is here for. I'm sure ppl smarter then myself disect everything in a Rom to make sure nothing is malicious. Props to OP will be testing tonight.

In the end, theres really not too much one could do to watch for "bad stuff." I don't even know what bad stuff you'd be looking for though, keyloggers? If theres one of those, all you'd have to do is double check the input section to make sure it's a legit IME. Other than that, ATK would help you look for anything else.
The fact of the matter is most of these roms just aren't signed, unless you're building from aosp, or you take the keys out of the rom that you're modifying.

With the release of the restore files I felt comfortable enough to give deodexing a shot. Everything but the BlurCalender deodexed beautifully with xUltimate2.3.1. Now to get an AOSP theme!!
I'm new to all this, what does deodexing do for us? I'm guessing it has something to do with themes since you mentioned that.

haha but in all seriousness.. it will help with ROMs and Themes
Ha my NoScript addon blocked your LMGTFY
I almost knew someone was going to do that lol thanks tho man
yea same here, what did you do just remove it or left it odexed?
Using the commands for xUltimate it removes all the odex files so they will probably need to be added. I am having other issues as i did not backup the calender.apk so i need the original before i can experiment.
I ran thru and deodexed everything except the calendar. Was getting a lot of force closures.
I noticed someone else had the same and the he is looking in to it.

I am having a wicked time getting past the blur calendar deodex portion using xUltimate 2.3.1. It gets there and hangs. I waited for 32 minutes to let it work it's magic but no results. Did I not wait long enough? Any suggestions?
Are you going to release an Deodexidized Rom? why is this thread in development?

We are going to have to wait until the xUltimate is fixed for the bionic.
I cant find any info on how to do it manually.

I was able to deodex most of it with xUltimate (I just renamed Calendar to bypass it). Some work, some don't. Hoping the OP makes a deodex ROM as the thread would suggest.

Thread suggest that we are trying to do it, but we are having issues.
The stuff that did deodex is causing force closures.

I would love to release a deodex stock rom but my calender is still messed up and i havent been able to figure out what the issue is. To be clear I am an engineer and i know some programming but i am no android expert. If you want i could post the deodexed apps and you can follow the manual steps of coping the apps to system if you want.

If you are referring to my post.
I was referring to a manual way to deodex and not use xUltimate as it is not working for the Bionic.
I was able to deoedex everything except the calendar like you.
But when I applied the files to the phone, I started getting a lot of force closures and had to start over.
I am waiting for xeudoxus to take a look and patch xUltimate to work with the Bionic.
im running a deoxeded rom right now. i manually did the /system/apps and the framework.

XUltimate. But I had to manually push the files. Been about 2 days and seems like everything is good so far.

You could DL it and look in the .zip's /system/app folder to see what's there in the mean time.
Is this ROM deodexed also?
Just from looking in the /system/app folder, this is still pretty heavily bloated.

yeah the idea wasn't to strip out all the blur like most roms. the idea was to strip out all the vzw crap and all 3rd party apps that you can choose whether or not to install.

Ah, ok. When I saw all of those blur authenticators like Orkut, I cringed a bit, but that's because I misunderstood you.

hehe i understand, not a big fan of blur myself, but wanted to leave it fully intact for the user to decide how much to keep or remove. The authenticators are definitely bloat but don't really get in the way too much.
Also just added the BlurHome2.apk with rotation enabled to the op

I highly doubt this will work on the xt860 (don't have one to test with), although i'm not sure why you'd want to use this on a gsm device. The .906 leak is still based on 2.3.4 and you gsm guys have 2.3.6 available, not to mention the gsm builds tend to have less carrier bloat to begin with.
If you want the moto apps that aren't included in your build, i've created another post with just the apps that you can add manually (see op).
If for whatever reason you'd still like to get this working on gsm, i'd recommend consulting with redsox985, as he and others have been working on porting the bell 2.3.6 to the xt862.
thanks for clarification
just updated op with full 906 system, deodexed app and framework, and updated dst mod.
Do I need Root
I'm on 5.7.906, not rooted, Do I just install the DST one over it? or do I need to root?

Yup, updating them with the most recent versions of busybox, su, Superuser, and update-binary, will be back shortly...

Cool . Is there a way you can just make this flashable via safestrap with only, oxeded and deodexed, bloated and non-bloated, like someone made for the 905 leak. Cus I tried to just flash your dst mod one by its self and I wouldn't load. Got an error.

the deodexed and dst updates include only /app and /framework, not the entire system, that's why you got an error.
if you're using safestrap, you want to install the safe-5.7.906 system, then install the deodexed or dst on top of that.

Is there one out there for the Vivid based on the current HTC Sense ROM currently in use by AT&T? I have been looking for one that is stock with ALL of the AT&T bloatware crap removed without any additions or "improvements".
It would also be nice to have the ability for it to OTA update or at least whoever makes one to update it as needed.
If that's what you're looking for why not root it and debloat it yourself?

I am not opposed to that idea if there are directions out there on how to do it. I would love to know how to properly take the stock ROM and remove the stuff I hate about it from it and repack it.
If you root you can just flash a recovery, make a back up of the stock rom and then download an app like no bloat from the market and remove whatever apps you don't like or need. Not sure if that's an option for you.
Ess.boyer's stockish or Aus_ azn's lightweight on rootzwiki at both great ROMs.

I tried NoBloat on SIL's Verizon DROID BIONIC. There are a few Verizon apps it appears to not list.
Debloating is quite simple
Start with a stock rom (the rooted one "for chefs or whatever" will be perfect
Download and install "7zip" on your computer
Open up the rom zip using 7zip
Navigate to system/app
delete any unwanted apps (careful...some are neccessary fir the phone to run)
You could also add in any apps you want as well
The above is whqt got,me into deving fir android although i still dont consider myself a dev...still have much more to learn
The alternate route is to flash the stock rooted rom
Then install titanium backup from playstore and uninstall apps from there

I was able to track these down. I might give them a shot here in the next few days. Thanks!

Is there anyway I could download the stock ROM from HTC and convert it into an editable .zip? If not, I might give this a shot.
I knew we had something like this around. (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1583028) Stock ATT rooted.
Features:
ICS 4.0.3
Rooted
De-odexed
Zip-aligned
init.d scripts support (Currently only holding a test script)
All the original AT&T bloat you could ever dream of
Still has the bloat but at least you have something to start with and you could debloate from there.

Just use what es linked...its alot easier...turing a ruu into a flashable zip is a pain...you need linux so you can mount the proper partitions/system images and the extract...
