hello everyone. i made this thread only for helping each other about what HD games our x8 is capable of running.
i tried gangstar2, spiderman HD, tom clancy's splinter cell with different versions and they all send me straight to homescreen after logo.
it's frustrating and saddening actually and made me think the reason may be the cooked roms.
so, anyone tried those games or another run perfectly or it's simply the crappy ARMv6 problem ??
i'd like x8 members to share their favorite HD games here .

Thought the "HD" games were made mainly for tablets running Tegra2. I have some doubts as far as how playable games like these can be on the tiny x8 screen without any proper multitouch.
@abaz123: If you see posts made in the wrong section, notify a moderator and they'll move it. Posting flamebait will only make a moderators job harder. Moving a post takes a second. Going through a thread to clean out off-topic rants like you initiated, takes patience.

Well, moderators always need help from users, sure in the right way ofcourse.
in fact, i've just deleted ON GAME post because it was target to a warez site, if it wasn't for abaz123 PM i wouldn't see it.
Just to be much more clear, any kind of warez it isn't allowed over xda forums and if anyone will PM me if any, it will be very appreciated.

But the first task that the modertaor committee asked me to do was to clear up the development section of each of my moderated device.
So incase you havent found your Question/App/request/ or something to that effect anymore in the developement section where you originally posted, its because I have moved to the right section.
I know it may come off as an inconvenience to some, but in the long run, I am sure it will benefit all

You know that rule where you have to have like 10 posts to be able to read the dev section? We should make something like "You need 50 posts to be able to post in the Dev section" And possibly have to be approved as a Developer by a Moderator before being able to create threads in the Dev section?

You think it's bad here? You should have seen the Fascinate dev section a while ago, it was such a cluster that devs had to go underground to get anything meaningful done.
Earlier today, I started a thread telling a little story about Android. But, for no reason, it was closed shortly after. No explanations, nothing.
I did it in the right section, it was not offensive or rude, I don't know what the hell I did wrong. I don't mind my topics being closed, but with no explanations, this is just bullsh*t.
If somebody could explain it to me, it'd be cool.

Contrary to popular belief, off-topic is not a place where you can open a thread for anything you like and it just flies. It follows the same rules that apply everywhere else in the forum. In this particular case, the rule is about not opening threads that already exist. I did link you to two threads that were relevant to your post.
As for this thread, if you have a problem with a mod decision then by all means question it, but don't open a thread to do it. Send a PM to the mod in question (namely me, in this case) and politely discuss it with them.

You are going to draw unwanted attention from a mod so I suggest you stop doing what you are doing in the fashion in which you are doing it. These restrictions are in place for a reason, mostly to stop spam posters.

There are already so many threads here in OT that you can post to for your ten post, it should be extremely easy for anybody that takes one minute to look. Use the 'game threads' like last letter and similar word and such. Problem solved.
EDIT: Mods, why not make it so new users can't start a new thread until the 10 post limit is reached?

Well I obviously wasn't recommending he do that for purposes of being able to spam dev forums!! Its not like I am telling a secret loophole or anything, what I said to do should be common sense to anybody except the OP right? If it's that big of a deal then new users shouldn't be able to post in OT either. I'm just saying that's better than starting a new thread with no topic.

Yeah I appreciate that, but in general, most new threads created by new users have already been created plenty of times before. I done it myself, so I know that.
Granted, it's not an ideal situation but at least it would solve the issue, to a certain degree.

To the OP...I would suggest you visit a few forums. We have tons. Get to know the site and the community. Make some helpful posts and contribute to the forums in a positive way.
