I bought a Android phone here in Guatemala and found that the gmail app was not loaded. A bit of research showed that it blocked in most countries. I found a gmail.apk a tried to install it, but only received the message that it was blocked in my country.
anyone found a way around this?

So, i know the app store is only for US and not really for us... but because most of us have custom roms, were able to use it.
So i tried it, and it said its not available in my region. Is there anyway i can bypass this ? :S so that i can get apps
type amazon appstore canada in google and you will get the info in the first link.
I would like to include a link but I still dont have my 8 posts required to add links it seems.
no longer works, just tried it
the appstore is now working for Canada!!
I'm still getting a message saying that "Amazon appstore for Android is not yet available in your region". Anyone else getting this? What's strange is that I've downloaded from the Amazon appstore before.

Same thing is happening to me. I just downloaded the app store application but can't install anything. It must be opening up to Canada sometime soon, right?

I tried to download Charlie Brown Christmas App and was denied "...region". I was still able to download my previous purchased apps. Other free apps were also denied.
EDIT: use a VPN (hotspotshield) to purchase the app on your computer. It will then be available on your android device for download & install under "My Apps".

Just tried it on my PC, its not working, still getting the same message, and apparently for some reason amazon.com is still detecting I am in Canada (I get the "shopping from Canada banner").
Strange that hotspotshield is indeed working (verified my IP using several methods and even got region locked hulu to work without a problem).
Clear browser cache?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I897 using XDA App
thx for this it works with using vpn
Hello you all, I'm looking for the "USA Today for Tablets" App - only the version for smartphones will show up in the market... Hope anyone can upload the APK for me and all the others!
Thanks!
Google can be helpful!!! https://market.android.com/details?id=com.usatoday.android.tablet.news
If all would be so easy Guess what? I've tried that already but it won't let me install the app to my device. That is the reason why I've come here and asked to the apk

I went into the market on my Xoom, went to the Featured Tablet Apps section, and it was right there at the bottom. It installed fine.
How are you not seeing it in the market? When you try to install it from the website (the tablet app linked by handshake87) it should show you your tablet as an option to install it to. If you can't install it to the tablet it should have a reason shown as to why you can't.
If you can't install it from the market or the website then you have another issue you should probably look into. Since I just installed it I can get the APK using titanium if you still need it.
I think the problem might be that I'm accessing the store from Germany and it's a branded T-Mobile device...
So how about anyone uploading the APK for me? Would really appreciate it!
The apk might not work since it's coming from a U.S. xoom versus your version.
I would love to try if anyone would upload the apk
Not responsible for what happens if you try using the file (e.g. soft/hard brick, bootloops, etc.), but here you go from a U.S. wifi version.

If you're getting the error in the market that says something about the app not being available for your carrier, you may want to try what i had to do on my x10. If you're on AT&T in the US and try searching for tethering apps they are not there. So what I ended up doing was putting my phone in airplane mode and using wifi (removing the sim card and working on wifi does the same thing) and once I did that, the apps would show.
So if the apk file posted doesn't work for you (i see no reason why it shouldn't) try removing the sim from your xoom, connect to the internet over wifi, and look in the market again.
So, I got me a Google+ account.
However, I can't seem to find the app on the market or download it directly from Google's website via a link set to my phone.
Any idea why, or where we can get the .apk?

What did you search for on the Market? I searched for google+ and got it right away.
Sent from my Milestone using XDA Premium App
Tried "Google+", "Google Plus", tried to use the link directly from the m.google.com/plus site, and all I get is "Not Found" on the market.

Perhaps the app is blocked in your country? Try using Market Enabler?
I think the easest way to find it is searching any app from google on the downloaded list and go to "More apps from this developer" (or whatever you see in your language)
I've founded it by this way (on Argentina), but i don't have an invitation...

Can't think of a reason why it should be blocked, there's a Hebrew translation for Google+ and I'm using it.
In addition, on the google+ page there's a link to send the app to my mobile, and for some reason I'm not getting the SMS with the link.
Strange stuff
Please, could someone upload the apk file? I can't download it from the market because it is country restricted. Thanks!
Yes market enabler and fake vodafone uk

Market Enabler is the way to go, find it in the market, install and fake as something [US].
I use T-Mobile...
Yep, Market enabler did the job. Thanks!
Does auto-upload feature work for everyone? It seems kind of buggy for me
This application works perfectly on my milestone. I have no problem finding it in the market Maybe try download it via https://market.android.com/
anyone have a problem where the ticketmaster app will not work for them? i get an error message "sorry the service you requested is not available at this time"
i'm on the global rom and rooted. i have no problem running any other apps and i'm stumped as to why this won't work. it works on other android devices that are rooted so that isn't the problem. any ideas?
Found in odm/app on my note 9.
Funny thing. Even a google search throws up nothing.
Also on XDA I could find no info
Can this be removed without root ?.
A malware site has some info on it. But not much.
Found this as I was going thru every file and folder on my phone trying to fix my no audio problem.
Search results for MySingtel_v7.5.apk file:
Found it on the Play Store, APK Mirror, APK Pure, and a few other websites as the My Singtel application.
From APK Mirror, it looks like the version of the app you have on your phone is from 14 July 2019.
https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/singtel-idea-factory-pte-ltd/my-singtel/my-singtel-7-5-release/
Play Store:

Thanks that is crazy weired when I did a google search I got nothing.
Glad to have helped you, @RonChinoy. Hope you were able to uninstall it and get your audio working.

I got my phone in India.
This is not the only Junk App I found.
Go in Via ADB shell and look around. You will find it with some other apps.
