Going to get a NC, but where?

The NC is $249 from best buy, B&N & walmart. Ya'll recommend any one place over the other?

Try Walmart as I hear they still have the pre new partitioned NCs, saves you trouble.

I got mine at best Buy because I needed to get an SD card at the same time. It really doesn't matter.

If you want to have the best shot at getting one with the old (non-sucky) partitions, try a walmart in a smaller town. If it's a slightly redneck town all the better, cause there's less chance that people are buying nook colors with any sort of regularity, so you're more likely to be able to get older stock.

Try craigslist. I've found some as cheap as $135. Some people got them as gifts and ended up getting Ipad
So they sell them cheap. Still in the box.

I got mine new/sealed in the box off Craigslist. Never saw a new/sealed one lower, but still.

If you don't mind a refurb Overstock.com has them for $225
But first go to overstock.com/coupons and click on the $12 off link so you get $12 off costing you only ~$216 shipped.

There was a better deal floating around with Overstock.com however the coupon code stopped working last time I checked. This is what I did and my NC should arrive Thursday.

If I meant $249 I would have said it.
The topic was refurbs, which B&N sells for.......

Ended up getting it through Walmart. Worked out best anyways, as their protection plan was half of what BB & B&N were ($20 vs $45 & $50)

Also try slickdeals.net...they recently had refurbed nooks for $180.

I was just about to post this. Deal is still on.
I have 2 nook coming my way. 1 I bought two days ago at $225 that I am going to return as soon as the package lands on my doorstep. Another one that I just bought last night at $189. I'm so excited!

Sucks, I ordered a refurb one yesterday for $225, I emailed them to see if I can get them to just refund the $35 as I don't have enough left on my paypal to buy a second one at $190 and just wait til I can send the other one back. Hopefully they still have them available in like a week so I can still get the savings.

I personally would not hesitate one second to buy a new device @ $200 over a refurb for $190...

I know there is a sale for $25 off the NC new if you have a B&N membership but that's the only sale I found from days of searching.

[Q] Best deal on a Vivid

I have been searching online and it appears the regular upgrade price is $199-00 from ATT and others with Costco being $10 cheaper and they include some accessories plus a favorable return policy.
Anyone know of any better deals out there?
I missed out on Fry's $60 ($90 with tax) deal.

The best deal I could find was $600 at AT&T.

I thought the upgrade price through att was $99.00. That is what I paid for it.

I got mine for $199.00 but two weeks later the black Friday price was $99.00. I got the $100.00 refund of course but I haven't seen it for $99.00 since then.

Good spot, well done. I find it unusual though that they charge you tax on the full retail amount bringing the total somewhere near $120. They also have a lousy 13 day return policy. Makes you wonder if the saving is really worth it.

Not worth it for me considering I would have to drive from Memphis to Duluth or Milton Georgia to partake of the offer.

This is in Canada so i don't know if its the same in the US. Just go into a Best Buy store and see if they got the promo. Plus they should be able to price match with others including carries plus 10% off.

It shows black, but its for the white. I just went to the Fry's in Duluth, GA and picked up 2. One for me and one for the wife. Way better than paying 200! Well worth the 16 hour round trip drive. All I have seen is the black model and never saw the white until yesterday, and I gotta say is, it is a sexy beast! Black looks good, but white looks better. Anyone in the Atlanta area goes to partake of the offer, they only have one more white left. The blacks are being sold at 130.

If you happen to work for AT&T they are offering a $199 discount for this phone if you are upgrading.

I picked mine up for $17 Canadian.
Hardware upgrade price was supposed to be either $99 or $149, I don't remember, but it rang up at $59.99 (at a Rogers store), and while I was signing the paperwork the woman told me 'Don't forget to log into your Rogers account to redeem the $50 mail-in rebate.' I thought it was too good to be true, but sure enough, when I got home, I logged in, and a few minutes later received an email stating that a $50 credit had been applied to my account.
So $10 for the phone, plus $7 (the taxes on $60).
Two days later, a friend picked one up and was charged $150. When she mentioned my deal, the guy at the store said 'Oh, that's not right. But there's nothing we can do about it now.'

Got mine for 99 and my upgrade was not but until march. I called cs and asked if icould get an early upgrade they talked to a supervisor and they offered it and the sgs 2 for 99. Never been happier.

Got mine from bestbuy after two days, was pretty quick.
Rooted it, flashed TWRP and null_23 ROM, was able to install Gear Manager on my HTC One, but a few things don't work on it (weather, s voice, notifications...).
Need to play some more.

Best Buy refurb unit died in 24 hours!
Ordered $99 Galaxy Gear Refurb from Best Buy sale the other day 3/26. Delivered yesterday. 24 hours later.... "Camera has stopped error". Reset phone. No help. Returning to Best Buy.
Just ordered NEW ONE for $149 from Staples - price match Best Buy
