I'm not sure if it's just me or is it everyone but it seems that brightness and sleep stay in the bar no matter what?

The brightness slide option is already built in to cm9. Go to settings > system > status bar and check the box beside brightness control. That will allow you to adjust brightness by sliding your finger across the status bar.

Do you mean it's still bright?
I think it's the nature of X8, I played with my X8 lot times in night and
I down the brightness completely but its still tearing my eyes!
Wear a glass next time!
You can use screen dimmer app or change minimum value in auto brightness settings in screen dim level.

Good day,
I noticed today that when I put the Sony weather widget on home screen, it causes the notification to lag a bit when you swipe it down... I know,Im a bit OCD when it comes to lag. Do you guys have same problem too?
