Hey guys.
I was searching the web recently for some wallpappers and i felt into the one that i have in the attachments... I thought it is quite cool, but it could be cooler if it was a boot animation...
i didn't find any related video to that image and I know that it is too much to ask to make an animation out of a picture but i think that it will be an impresive one.
Just an idea... hope someone can make it.

Hey everybody, was wondering if anyone out there could help me. I'm looking for a boot animation with HAL 9000's glowing eye, with and audio clip of "Good Morning Dave." on the bootup. cant think of anything I'd love to hear or see more when I kick on my droid than that.

There is one about, I have seen it before.
Also tried making one myself by mixing it with the Droid boot animation. It came out real bad thou...

First contribution here : a boot screen animation based on KITT's scanner as you will see below.
I made it blue, but I plan on making it red and green as well as soon as possible. I may take requests, provided I have enough time to make them happen.
WARNING : This is for 480x800 phones only!
Click on the thumbnail below to obtain a small animated preview. It looks much, much better running on the phone itself, but I am limited in image size so I can't show it in its full glory.

this is my first post here on xda, but i've been lurking for a long time. i really like this bootanimation.
i'd love to see an android in there, but done very subtle. perhaps something near black on black?

recently i started to play around with after effects and created this small android text animation.

you install this simply by overwriting your bootanimation in system/media on froyo roms!
I dont know if this works on ginger roms if anyone can say it will be apreciated
the animation is 480x800 for phones like galaxy s, htc desire and so on.
remember to make a copy of your original bootanimation if you want to rever back to it
in future i will be releasing more and more animations like this one if there will be demand!
I am also willing to make custom animationes for rom cooks, so feel free to contact me!

Was wondering if there's a skilled image editor (?) who could make me a Olympique Marseille wallpaper?
I got no talent myself otherwise I would have made it.
I emagined it with a black/dark background and then a small Marseille logo on top.
The logo looks like this:

today I bring you something a little different. Having ported one of my favourite gifs to a boot animation I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Editing most frames to assure it looks good in this new resolution I sank quite a few hours into it (I don't appear to be very fast at this) and I'm proud of the result.
PREVIEW. Please note the actual boot animation is a touched up version that is much smoother

I am not responsible if it, for any reason, messes up your phone. The tinkering you do is as always, your own responsibility. It's made for 1080p devices and at the moment does not support any other resolution. Let me know if you want me to resize, there might be a possibility to work something out.
