[MOD] Patched libsqlite.so (i/o boost, ++ quadrant) - LG Optimus Black

Hey,
I have patched the libsqlite.so for our Optimus Black to work on our 2.2 version.
I needed to change the source in order to disable the sqlite sync function and compile the file from scratch, this will result in:
- Faster I/O Operations
- 200-300 point quadrant boost
So far I only shared this with Yusei and nunogil (which is on Nova and relax ROM) but after long-term testing it seems to be it's stable enough for sharing to everyone else.
Instructions for cookers:
- Just replace the file for the one in /system/lib/libsqlite.so before packing
Instructions for stock users:
- Just replace the file for the one in /system/lib/libsqlite.so using root explorer
When I get home I'll attach the file.

It will be included in your next release, isn't it?

Its already included since Nova v1 and in Relax because I sent it to nunogil. Pays ROM doesnt have it though.

[Q] Startup sound for GT540 CM7!

Hi XDA!
I would like to ask if there is a method(which really works) to set startup and maybe shutdown sounds for the LG GT540.
In the stock 2.1 I remember changing startup/shutdown sounds easily, I just replaced the sound files with another.
Or is there any script or any way to include sound in bootanimation.zip?
I can't believe that everything supports boot sounds, except Cyanogenmod7
If you can help, please do it!
In 2.1 boot sound is loaded by program who is initiated by init.rc, you should to to edit boot, place "playmp3" program in place where is located in 2.1 and you can use the same path like in 2.1 system.
that won't work pebe if i remember you need a modded kernel because if you modify the init.rc it will get replaced on each reboot

You can mod the init.rc and pack it into a boot.img yes that works but you cant edit it using root explorer but i just remembered a work around i will post it after i get some sleep

for playing startup sound need libaudioalsa.so because bin/playmp3 have link for this file.
Try use this files from P500 2.2/2.3 and edit the init.rc

Thanks, hope I can get it to work, but please help me a little bit more.
I'm downloading the system dump of the Optimus One, I assume the file will be there which I need.
Where do I need to put this libaudioalsa.so file?
Then where should I copy my .mp3 and what should be it's name?
What to edit in init.rc?

I was using v8 and it didn't have this option. Downloaded v9 from second post (why didn't you put in first post ) and it worked.
You also forgot to mention that we should use SM to to run /data/99SuperCharger.sh at boot so that changes won't revert after restart.
Thanks for your guide
EDIT: For some reason changes revert after restart even when I set 99SuperCharger to run at boot !!

I tried the upd_1.zip on ddkq8 & it had worked. But when I flashed int2ext+ on BE kernel, device didn't boot & after a factory reset via cwm, it did. But this time, all the apps that need root access like the cwm, sd maid, etc., failed to open up & stuck on black screen with the app name label at the top. What could be the reason ?

Let's clear something up !
First of all, ALL ROMS can be rooted !
I have alot of experience in that, and after 3 years of testings first and only problem when u try to root a rom is SYSTEM free SPACE !
So, before complain that a rom cannot be rooted, just see how much free space u got (u can do that without root, using last 3.0 root explorer).
After u do that, make a flashable zip only with meta scripts that remove Maps.apk or something, than try again. It's 100000% workin !
Peace all !
Hi everybody!
You could easily remove bloatware (and much more) via aroma filemanager 1.8, just mount all, install zip from sdcard, select aromafm-1.80.zip run it and enjoy. The easiest way! Good luck.

There's a bloatware removal script for galaxy y that works even for ace. It works even without root. It is just a updater script that removes many unwanted apps. Just flash via recovery. Easy as that

Thank you! Downloading. Thanks for everything guys. I gave cooper to my girlfriend and I had Stock on Fire installed and it's giving her problems. The /system seems to have gotten corrupted somehow and a lot of apps FC and when I try making a Nandroid it stops at backing up system.
I'm about to just flash the latest stock rom, root it and add the all in one ICS/lockscreen mod and just leave it there. Do you guys recommend anything else? I just want something that I can leave it at and not worry about anymore.
