[Q] Statusbar Gingerbread Roms

Ive noticed that in most of the gingerbread roms that Ive used the status bar is completely black really looks like a plain black image and im not talking about the icons either just the status bar image does anyone know why that is? Its really getting annoying

It is just the gb theme...why is it annoying? More blacks = greater bttery life

Id rather have grey but for now ill be using matted blues theme for apex 7

Could always use UOT Kitchen to create a new statusbar.

Transparent lock screen and status bar

could someone make my status bar and lock screen (with status bar) transparent? i tried UOT kitchen, but it did not work. what files should i upload ?

You have to use a theme that supports a transparent status bar I use simplistic and just changed out the icons to ones I likedliked

ou..i see...it is a shame.i use GO launcher black chrome theme..

Go launcher doesn't support transparent status bars I think I use ADW EX

not in my case...i would like to see "desktop" through the lock-screen..not for 100% but 20-50% would be nice if you now what i mean

Try looking in your framework Res file you might be able to change it there

Flashable battery mod?

Pretty much i want a link to a thread with battery mods.
Currently using cm7 with a theme Chooser theme. I can't find any I really like and would rather have stock with the stock gingerbread battery indicator with the numbers inside.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Battery "skins"

Is there anything for the ns4g that allows the battery icon to be changed to something other than sock? not looking for a full theme, just a battery mod. I am currently on 2.3.7.

how to change icon on menu lg g2 thanks

Hold down on icon without moving it's location. Then let up. It should then put a little purple paintbrush in the corner. Now tap again and you should have the option to tweak it. Or just change your theme.

On kitkat you can't change reach icon to a different theme but you can change the icon within the dance theme. I'm not sure what they were thinking making a change like that...

I thought I was goin crazy cause I couldn't pull up the icon themes on kitkat! I couldn't find anything on the internet about it I thought j got a bad update... lol there's a app called icon changer on the play store it's pretty awesome! U can change the icon the name make custom bookmarks & shortcuts I have like 5 icon pack attached to it. Whoever took the icon changer theme away from kitkat needs to be shunned!

If you can pull the individual icons out of the themes,then yes. You could crop from a screen shot.

HEY!!! Looks like u can! How? The info button used to pop up all the icon themes but now it does nothing? I call investigate cause I thought Google & xda would be flooded with complaints but j didn't see anything when I looked up why I couldn't! Shinanagins I tell ya!
