It's like ZottD is dead or something, no posts on his webpage about anything for 2 months. I hope he's just working behind the scenes, and hopefully not doing what the rumors are about going back to development on iOS. :/

i think n64oid might be dead in the water.....

I am not excited about this. Psx4droid is mediocre and un usable if I don't find an old version and n64 is much more graphically intensive. His iphone psx4all runs much smoother on lesser hardware.
I hope the fpsce team chooses to make and android app.

You think its unplayable? Its perfectly playable when you have the phone running 1ghz or higher...the sound is just distorted sometimes. I think they have a pretty good beta. I want someone to finih it.
That being said, the n64 used too many buttons simultaneously to work good on a phone imo...

+1 on the buttons, how would you do the Z button? I'm thinking for OoT, it would be a major challenge.

I think the older versions are playable actually i do play them some. For the current version in the market every game I have tried to play has had completely broken sound. The most typical problem is the it either slows waay down or hangs completely. With no sound the nostalgia feel is easily cut in half for me so i usually just sigh and say whats the point and do something else.

I dont have it on me. Do you have an android operated phone? If so you can just download it, copy to SD, and then plug it in. Oh, and what makes it even better is that you can just throw it on a USB jump drive and plug it right in.

I actually found 1.6 online, played it, it made me upgrade to 1.6.1, and then 1.6.1 force closes, im running TNT3.0, anyone else able to get it to work?

Pocket Legends is dead on android tablets since the new client release. As of late last night the devs still had not posted in any threads (I haven't checked their forums this morning yet).

I had 1.61 working on Vegan yesterday, they I had to repartition and redo my apps and now its not working. Strange that it worked when I updated it but it wont now.....................

weird, anyone ever have it working on TNT3.0? I'm just hoping dungeon defense works, that game looks great...

yeah I had to do some serious bugging over there and went as far as compiling my own apk to get the tapjoy crap out and make 1.6.0 think it was 1.6.1.... thedevs yelled at me lol but the point was made regarding the need for speed when an update breaks support

Odd... this game doesn't show up in my market? When I do a search. I changed to the new market and is still unable to query the game. Angry birds pop-up though... so I'm hoping someone can help me out on this problem. I'm running VEGAn and the new market.

Goto spacetimestudios.com, click on forum, then android, then one of the first stickies there is the apk file for those without market or those who cannot find the app in the market. Hope this helps!

I've been waiting for this release, looks like it is going to be awesome. And like you said, they say tegra 2 is the best platform.

but will it work for our tablet? i know a lot of games have not been working for the tab but is it because we are using tegra2 or because developers just don't recognize our tablet?

I think I was the first user to dl and first online game setup on android woot (game was up EARLY in am)! Got some goodies for it too, in addition to what was left under the tree! Diels_Alder is my gamespy name, lets get more peeps to jam out this game... 4 online just isn't enough lol
This game runs aweful on epic and evo when compared to gtab! Now we just need games like unreal torny, alien breed, and other unreal engine games

This game looks and runs great
The graphics and smooth gameplay are incredible and immersive.
This is a good example of what will come in the future.
This is what I was hoping for when I first purchased the Z pad.

Yep! Guaranteed

The games made worse by this update is frustrating, but the overall system wide benefits of 3.1 far outweigh those problems imo.
I definitely recommend contacting the devs of those games that don't work. Most devs are great and will act on sorting out those problems.

Yep they are, but I cant really bring myself to blame Gameloft mainly because who knew that just a few months after 3.0 came out their would be an update.

I hear alot about this game/thing... Whats the point of it? It looks like something that you building insanely pixelated. aated cities, lands etc... Just dont get it. There has to be more. What am I missing? I read there were like 200 million copies sold. And few million on phones

It's super addictive.

It's just basically making stuff and downloading other peoples levels they made that you have to do and like the other answer you got it is rather addictive!

Well, you're also missing stuff like crafting and survival. Depends on what difficulty you choose. Try for yourself.

I was wondering the same thing, because a bunch of guys I know love it. I tried it myself and I was bored within about 10 minutes. It's either you build something which isn't very impressive, or you sacrifice endless hours to make something awesome. But at the end of the day you don't really get anything for doing it... So I see no point either

I dont know what is so great about minecraft either, I played it and i did not really liked it, Im a real GTA fan so no big suprise.

My one friend modded his server and made everything look and act like star craft bw.
Pretty sweet achievement.. still has insane bugs..

If you're a call of duty type, then this game ain't for you.
Minecraft is more or less a creativity tool. If you aren't creative, then it's not for you.

Right now it's the pseudo equivalent of creative mode only. In creative mode, there are no monsters, infinite resources, and your character can't die.
Survival mode is really what brings out the flavor in minecraft, if for no better reason than you have to "earn" what you build by harvesting everything and *not* dying.
Initially the dev team (Mojang) wanted the pocket edition to be like creative mode only. Now apparantly they're giving it some survival mode teeth, as that's what the community has been clamoring for.
Here's to hoping there wont be too many corners cut. If so, I may have to hunker down and actually buy this one.
There is a free demo version for anyone who's curious. The demo version doesn't let you save your worlds, so whatever you build is gone when you close thr game.

i simply find it grotesque, i can't fathom the ugliness of such game
it's like worse than going back to the computers from the 70s, just with color instead of monochrome
i still remember Atari games that looked exactly just like that
