Try looking for "downgrade WP7" or something like that, sorry if I can't help you a little more, but I've been doing this for a long time and I don't have the direct link.
Its the same procedure as how you went to mango , instead of update you to restore and thats it

Just choose which Rom you're most interested in. I reccommend ITJE or ASERG's work.. their roms are fast and very stable.
Download the rom and follow the instructions, it's very simple and most people are very afraid of bricking their phone ... so just make sure you have the STOCK RUU http://www.mediafire.com/?2nq9iu0a2nt on hand and you'll be fine.
The thread that kidnamedAlbert linked to is a way for you to make your own ROM the simple way.

totally agree. im a wizard owner and the herald sub-forums suck. none of the information is consolidated very well if at all. and some of the info is old and then updated later in the thread instead of updating the first post. this sub-forum needs some help. ive been reading for 4hrs today, and read a bunch a couple weeks ago and am still unsure of things. there just is no definitive guide that goes over ALL the things you need to know and understand and then the things you may encounter and what to do if you do.

I've been using Open Touch roms since my first flash without a problem. Its very fast and reliable and my wing runs like it should. The T-mobile rom sucked and really frustrated me the first couple of weeks I had it. Another good thing with Open Touch is that you dont have to HardSPL your phone. See below. I'm pretty sure you'll find it easy enough if you read the first page of posts. Thats my recommendation.

my first post guys dont hit me too hard . i been wandering aimlessly in these forums not sleeping much and neglecting metal gear 4 all in the name of reviving my WING bak to the original rom. been trying to flash to the touch it rom but i have NO IDEA whatsoever as to how to do so. i must be halfway retarded cuz this site is full of more info than i will ever need but i cant seem to get this right. bak to the subject at hand. i need to reinstall the original shipped rom bak in my now canon yang hardspl. I just upgraded to the latest tmo rom, and I think it sucks. so I am in the same boat. I am going to attempt to go back to the earlier rom. so if I can I will post my experience to help out hopefully and get you where you want to be.
theres a thread about removing Hardspl somewhere
it involves USPL-ing the files from inside the RUU
yeah t-mo's rom updates are garbage. you can easily go back to an earlier on by downloading one of the original t-mo roms in the dev section. Then just uspl it right on your phone with Flash Center of whatever you wanna use.

im good yall. to me it works jus like the tmobile branded rom without the preloaded crap. in my deive info it shows i have rom version 4.10.531.2 wwe. i found out how to flash from the sd card and it worked like a charm. thanx to everyone U GUYS ROCK!!!

nah..I got xperia. was aiming 4 blackstone, but I was getting a new phone through my job, and blackstone was not available then, and I had to choose one there and then.

When I tried to compress Part03.raw, the file became 27MB (The original file is 323MB)! I tried a 1000 times, but it still came out this small.. And when I try to dump the file again I get the error message I got last time.. But I uploaded it for you so you can check it out. Please let me know if it's good or not, so I know if i should keep trying to dump it!
PS! Since I didn't register or anything on rapidshare, each file can only be downloaded 10 times. If you need me to upload them again, just let me know.

Hey there. I'm relitavely new here, but i've downloaded a few things from here in the past (Mostly apps and games). Now i've come unstuck with trying to upgrade the ROM on my touch HD. All I really want is to update to the Windows Mobile 6.5 version for it. Now, I went onto the HTC website to download the update, and put in my S/N number. (HT844KD03498 - I presume i'm okay to post that?) It says it's not available for my device. This has stumped me.
If that update isn't the best for the phone, and anyone could suggest/help me out a bit with getting a custom ROM, that would be great. I have read the thread about it.. But it would be a lot easier if someone could skype with me, or something like that. I really, really don't wanna mess it up.

yeah, we never got an update because our blackstone doesn't have a windows button... But we've got XDA so it doesn't really matter . If you follow the instructions in this guide there really isn t much that can go wrong. And if you're looking for a rom, I recommend KWBR

It's really dumb to try that. If I was you, I'd wait until a stable build comes out that's known. Because if there'd really be Android out there for the HD7 I think it would be more popular...
And the consequences would probably be - like Zubair Kirmani already said - that you've got a virus on your pc or that your phone's bricked which means that you can't use it anymore and that you can throw it into the bin.
And you don't want that, do you?
Why does everyone want to install Android on the HD7 anyway? A first build would just be laggy as hell and quite unusable...But whatever
This thread should be closed... This file was already talked about back in May and was confirmed to be for the HD7 CLONE phones and is more than likely to brick a proper HD7.
