You really should welcome the users with a welcome banner that tells them how it works. (it's "how it works", not "hows it works")

Thank you its in the works along with a few other things, i started building it all in November after Innovate 09 (PayPal Australia were nice enough to fly me and another Aust developer out). The entire thing is built only using the Netbook they gave us at innovate 09 (the new PayPal platform launch)

Is it that bad?!

What i see on there looks very good, especially the black and white landscape shots. I like them a lot.
I voted but i didn't enter my details as the page gave no sign of using SSL. (https).

I think it still counts as when i went back to the page the vote option wasn't visible but the count had gone up by one.

Ok, thats cool!
So, other xda member can vote, too without being afraid

I'd strongly advise to not post your gmail.
Esp when most of you have your accounts/credit cards tied to them.
It took me 2 minutes to create the form - which is private and a google document you can access anywhere.
Of course, this would take someone willing to take over my role.
I am done after 600+ people.

I have received two emails now. One from you directly with instructions and another one from google+ that has several posts in in from a circle. Clicking on any of them takes me to that persons post, and there is a button that says join google+ but clicking on it takes me to google+ main page which I am greated with the over full stuff.
I'll keep trying to get in if that is the proper link.

I think I know why their not getting on........the method i used you do not need to look at the email just go directly to plus.google.com and sign in using your gmail

i send them email to explain wht to do...LOL

Probably not that big a deal to you but on the homepage it says "a amputee". Just pointing that out since it shouldn't be hard to fix. It's awesome that you're doing something like this.

I see you have the forums for q&a/discussion and are planning to add a gallery for your designs. Maybe something with a few top relevant stories? alerts.google.com will send you email alerts of new stories for specific keywords based on how important/often. Google may offer a service easy to embed that would do that automatically, you may know better than me. That could possibly add to some discussion in the forums.

^ This. Plus, all you have to do is send an email to [email protected] asking for one. They sent me one within 2 hours of sending a request.
Please don't make this as annoying as the OnePlus One invite requests....
Oh, and if anyone PMs me asking for an invite I'm going to ignore you. So don't bother.

Send an invite to a friend
Once you get Inbox, you'll have invites to send to your friends. Here's how to send an invite:
Open Inbox.
In the bottom right, go to the Create button .
Choose Invite to Inbox .

Nope. I just checked. No invites. And if/when I do get them they are going to my friends. Sorry.

Yep, I'm an "ahole" for reserving my invites for friends that would actually appreciate it, rather than giving them away to random people on here who seem to only join this site simply so they can beg & demand things from XDA members who actually contribute to the Android community.
Go beg somewhere else...

I wasn't talking about you. I was simply responding to your post in which you felt the need to resort to name calling.
I've received 15 messages in my inbox from random people begging (quite literally) for invites. And then the guy who posted above yours was asking as well. All of these people have joined within the last couple of months and seem to have very few posts and minimal "thanks", which is a great indication that they come around here just to ask for things such as One+ One invites and more recently, Inbox invites.
Of course I'm not going to hold onto invites just to be spiteful. I have friends who I know will want them. And, quite frankly, if someone on here with an actual reputation for helping/contributing to this community asked me for an invite, I'd be more than happy to give them one. But like I said, I'm not going to just hand them out to the leaches of this site. You've got to see where I'm coming from here...

Guys its easy to get invite. Go google for google inbox. Then request invite from google.took few hours then I got my invites. Sorry no extra invite I gave them all out.

It isn't that easy. They don't just give invites to every person who applies for them.
