Call me cynical if you like but that article, to me, just sounds like a spin-doctor for the banks and saving institutions begging for your money. It's no secret that there's less money being invested because most people simply don't have it. I'd imagine financial institutes would be suffering from that, and I can believe them using "tactics" like that to try and convince people into investing, despite the fact that most can barely afford it.
Like I said, it may be cynical but that's what I read.

Jaszek, that's why I put a wink after that statement. Its tongue-in-cheek... obviously, we are the ones who want to win the contest. I know he doesn't know what's going on around him right now, but I do know that he's a happy, bubbly boy and we're doing a great job raising him. If we win, the money will go towards plane tickets to visit his grandparents on the east coast, so they can see him for only the second time since his birth.
