So I have posted my homescreen in this forum and google plus and some people have been asking for the tiles (icons) I am using. So I made a 7zip file and attached it here with the tiles (icons) I am using. These were all made by me....with stock photos of course with some minor (if any) tweaks.
These tiles are designed for use with Launcher 7 Pro. If I make more I will post them in this thread.
Enjoy!

1. Download Launcher 7 from the market. Free or Donate.
2. Download one or more of the packs attached in the OP to your computer. Open the downloaded file(s) with 7-zip or any other utility that can open 7z files.
Copy the images inside the 7z file(s) to your phone with whatever method you prefer. Mount the sdcard back to your phone if it was mounted to your computer.
3. Open Launcher 7 by pressing the home button then choosing Launcher 7.
If that doesn't work, go to settings -> applications -> manage applications -> [your current launcher] -> clear defaults, then try again.
How to add a themed tile:
Pin the tile you want by tapping the arrow in the top right and long-pressing the app you want to pin and choosing "Pin to home screen".
Tap "Title" and delete everything in it.
Then tap "Tile size" and choose the size of your icon (the sizes are in the file names).
Then tap "Icon" and choose "Custom icon".
Then tap "Custom icon options". Set "Bitmap type" to "Bitmap from SD card".
Then tap "Select image from SD card" and find the image you want to use (if you are using the gallery to pick it and you don't see it, you might have to use an app like Rescan Media or just reboot).
Then press your device's back button.
Then tap "Extra options" and choose "Full-tile bitmap (1x1 only)" if you chose 1x1 tile for the tile size. This makes the image fill the entire tile area, but makes you lose missed call counts and unread message counts. (You don't need to choose this option, but it makes it look better. You can change it later if you need the counters.)
Then tap "Click to add tile".
How to choose a custom icon for a tile that is already pinned:
Long-press the tile you want to edit.
Tap the pencil in the top left of the tile.
Delete everything in the "Title" field.
Choose Custom icon in the "Icon" field.
Tap "Select image from SD card" and pick your desired icon. (if you are using the gallery to pick it and you don't see it, you might have to use an app like Rescan Media or just reboot)
Tap "Tile options" and choose "Full-tile bitmap (1x1 only)" if you chose 1x1 tile for the tile size. This makes the image fill the entire tile area, but makes you lose missed call counts and unread message counts. (You don't need to choose this option, but it makes it look better. You can change it later if you need the counters.)
Tap "Modify tile".
I think that's pretty noob proof... but we'll see

Just started to play with this today. Out of sheer laziness, and not wanting to work from a computer, I downloaded the free version of androzip from the market. It works just fine for unpacking 7zip files right on your phone. It might be helpful info to include in the op. I like the idea of working without a computer and I'll bet I'm not the only one.

I don't know. I have never used desktop visualizer. These were made specifically for L7Pro.
If you test them out on desktop visualizer let me know if they work or not.
Hi these are great. I'm confused about the download though. How do I open or unzip the pack?

it's a .7z file not a regular .zip file
you need to install 7zip and use that.
http://www.7-zip.org/
it's free and what alot of xda devs use instead of winzip
glad you like the tiles! Enjoy!

I should also probably mention you should unzip them to your desktop then plug your phone in via USB, mount the phone and create a WP7Icon folder on your SD card. Move the unzipped files to that folder and then the files should show up in your gallery in the folder you created.
So I am getting some requests on how I did my setup for Launcher 7.
It's really not hard at all. Just time consuming. And it's hard to type up what I did so I think if I have time this week I will try and make a tut video on how I did my setup.
Bear with me as I have never done a tut video so it will be new to me. LOL
I didn't see a pandora one so I made my own. I made a 2x1, but then decided I'd rather use a 1x1 so here's both. Original image is here

Home tab cant be disabled, and the rest of the list is in another font, so the list is as follows:
- Contacts
- Internet
- Weather
- RSS (duh)
- Pictures
- Applications
Other tips:
---------------
- You can click once on the upper window on the HOME tab to fix it to the windows there, with 3 extra shortcuts that you can change easily.
- Ordering the launcher and contacts is pretty obvious, just press whithout releasing the finger and drag afterwords. To remove, use the SETTINGS softkey.
- The big weather is reached after clicking a city. As mentioned by bugsykoosh, the C anf F are also clickable to choose weather type.
- Also mentioned before, the SETTINGS icon on the home tab allows more customization.
- The weather wallpaper option are JPG's inside \Program Files\MotoSurf\ , in fact all the images, icons and XML's that make the layout seem to be there, so skinning and modding this baby should be a breeze.

Hey twolf do you think it is possible to make flip clock in qvga for this plugin? I am just starting to play with modding it a bit.
Im afraid it looks pretty static, even the images dont change untill you restart the plugin... :/
twolf - thanks for bringing this great UI to XDA. Hopefully it will catch on more with others and we'll see some great mods here shortly.
I have an Omnia (WQVGA) - Motosurf works great, however the icons are stretched, as is the wallpaper. I've re-sized the icons and tweaked some of the other images to fit properly - how though do I go about actually resizing the entire UI to fit 240x400? Is it as simple as adjusting the sizes (240x320) included in the xml files? If someone could give me a direction as to where and how to start modding Motosurf to fit 240x400, I would greatly appreciate it!
Thx for Big Clock Twolf...

Tip and skin added to the first post, thanks.
@lesscro
thanks for the file. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to do much to the standard layout, except for reducing the size of the calendar text on the home page. The wallpaper is still stretched, as are the contact and favorites images. Thanks for the effort though.
I've attached the icons I re-sized for WQVGA, so they are not stretched. Just unzip and replace current tga files (backup as necessary).
Do you guys have the fix for the favorite aplication issue?, i cannot add one single program !!!
Thanks in advance.

Presented by blackHoles&Hurricanes Tech&Music Blog
This is based off of the method of the Android Phone 7 Theme, but slightly different and made specifically for us Aria users, since we get no love. This will make your Aria look like a beautiful combination of Gingerbread and Windows Phone 7. There are twenty-six icons that are a combination of green, orange, and pictures in both sizes 1x2 and 3x1. You do not need to purchase Launcher Pro Plus to do this theme, they fit perfectly in Go Launcher without resizing, and you can change the dock, which is also included.
Icons included:

Bank

Camera

Here's how you do it:
1. Download Go Launcher, Desktop Visualizer, and Minimalist Text.
2. Unzip the Aria Phone 7 file on your computer, and transfer the files to an SD card.
3. Launch Go Launcher and add a widget by long-pressing, then click Desktop Visualizer 1x2.
4. In Desktop Visualizer, select the 1x2 icon you would like to use, then link that icon to the application using the app, clear the text, and launch the widget.
5. Do the same process as many times as necessary until you have filled up as many homescreens as you'd like to use.
6. To change the dock, click Menu>Preferences>Dock Settings and check Customized Background, then click Select Dock Background.
7. Find the dock included in the zip file and select it.
8. Now go back to your homescreens and by long pressing on dock items, get rid of them all except for the app launcher. Long-press the app launcher icon and click Choose Icon, then choose the transparent.png file that is included.
9. Now that your dock is done, for the widgets on top, use Minimalist Text and tweak the app to your liking.
10. The last thing you need to do is change your background to the HTC black wallpaper, and ta-da, you are all done. Easy, huh?
Included in this zip are templates, 1x2 and 3x1 icons, the dock, and the transparent PNGs as well as a document detailing the colors & fonts used. All files are PNGs.
Sorry, I had to use Megaupload. It was, like, 30 MBs.

Thanks man. The only thing I don't like is how the dock turned out, very pixelated. Hmmmm.
Awesome!! Thanks a lot! I love the look of the Win 7 mobile, but really dislike the phones. This is so cool DLing now!
EDIT: I only have one issue; how do I get rid of the extra space used for the touch effect? This makes the home screen not uniform. :/
EDIT 2:I fixed it by setting it to 5x4
Yeah, that is what the dimensions are supposed to be, I think, haha. Thank you, though!

Hello and welcome to my guide on how to theme LauncherPro so that it looks like Ice Cream Sandwich, the newest and best looking version of the Android OS.
DISCLAIMER: I take no credit for any icons, launchers, pictures, or anything else used in this guide. Everything belongs to their respective owners.
Before we begin, here are some things that you will need to download:
1. LauncherPro, the free version or the paid version will work just fine (this guide is intended for use on LauncherPro. I have not tested it on any other launcher)
2. Desktop Visualizer - Click here to download it for free from the Android Market
3. Download these Android 4.0 icons, extracted from the SDK by l0st.prophet. Images by Google.
4. Download the Android 4.0 clock widget for FREE here: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.icecreamsandwichclock.clock (Credit to developer juliojs) (This is optional)
5. Download the Google Search Widget image and App drawer icon at the bottom of this post. Add them to the folder of Android 4.0 icons to access them easier.
6. Download the dock background here: http://img684.imageshack.us/img684/928/hhhha.png
Add the folder(s) of images to the first level of your SD card / USB storage.
Steps:
Step 1: From your homescreen (while in LauncherPro), hit Menu, click Preferences, then click Appearance Settings. Choose Dock Background and choose Gallery if you are asked. Browse to the dock background linked above.
Step 2: Go back into the LauncherPro Preferences and restart the launcher. Your dock background should now have a white strip above the icons on your dock.
Step 3: Next, go to Preferences (by hitting Menu), choose Dock Settings, and then click Number of Docks. Set this to 1.
Step 4: On the homescreen, hold down on the 1st icon of the dock. Change it to the Phone app and when you get the popup to change the icon and name, change the icon to the Android 4.0 Phone icon, the big blue phone.
Step 5: Change the second dock icon to your Contacts application. Again, change the icon to the Android 4.0 Contacts icon.
Step 6: Now, the app drawer icon. Make sure the middle shortcut leads you to your app drawer. Hold down on the icon and click Change Icon, then click Custom icon. Browse to the proved app drawer icon.
Step 7: Change the 4th dock icon to your Messages application. Change its icon to the provided Android 4.0 Messages icon.
Step 8: Change the 5th dock icon to your Browser application. Change its icon to the provided Android 4.0 Browser icon.
Your dock should now look like this:
After you complete the dock, feel free to change more icons on your homescreen or change the dock to whatever you'd like. The above is only an example. Please note that this guide will not affect the look of your app drawer icons, only the icons you change on your homescreen. To change non-dock icons, remove the icon from the screen. Then, hold down on the screen, click Shortcuts, Applications, then choose the app. You then get the option to change the icon and name.
Now, lets set up the Google Search widget.
Step 9: Add a widget on your homescreen for "Desktop Visualizer 4x1" and click the box that shows up on your homescreen. When the options for the widget pop up, choose the icon button and browse to where you put the search widget icon. Choose the search widget icon. Make the "Select Action" launch the Google Search widget. Click the clear button next to "Label" and make the touch effect "None" and add the widget to the homescreen. (Download the Google Search widget picture from the bottom of this post)
Step 10: Add the Ice Cream Sandwich clock to your homescreen (optional).
Step 11: Go to Menu --> Preferences --> Appearance and uncheck "Show icon labels background". Restart the launcher.
Here's an example of what I did to my homescreen:
Step 12: Back up your homescreen settings and layout in the LauncherPro settings. The theming is now complete.
For an added ICS look, you can get the wallpapers from ICS by visiting the following link and downloading the wallpapers, courtesy of Android Police / P3Droid. Also, add other icons to your homescreen and change their icons to the Android 4.0 ones. Also, to change the icon of the app, you'll need to remove the icon from the homescreen, then when you re-add it, it lets you change the icon. Please note, this will not change the app drawer icons, only ones you CHOOSE to change on the homescreen and dock.
For the ICS lockscreen clock, check out this thread by xaffron: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1310766

I made this theme after I saw the Dark Pie UI Super Boss Style setup... loved the concept but found their setup to be more "involved" so to speak... I created my own version completely from scratch only using the idea of the original. Placed things where i wanted them placed and setup so that the end user can actually customize it a bit more than just having my EXACT setup... Everything is included in the .zip including instructions in the README file in case u don't feel like opening this thread again lol...
While the idea was based on Dark Pie UI... The imagery and colors were solely based off of my "GCS - CM9 Theme Chooser" theme which you can get more info from here... If you want to know the next color combo or direction, just look my signature for my other themes... (hint, SCS will be the next color setup for this)
I will do my best to update the 2nd post of this thread with added icons and/or requests as well as ALL DOWNLOADS... And alternate versions of this setup...
THIS WORKS ON ANY ICS/JB ROM provided you can install the below apps!
Apps needed to complete this theme:
Code:
[B]Apex Launcher Pro[/B] - http://tinyurl.com/apexprogcr
or
[B]Nova Launcher[/B] - http://tinyurl.com/novagcr
and
[B]UCCW[/B] - http://tinyurl.com/uccwgcr
Code:
Hex Colors Used
Dark Blue: #FF1245e0
ICS Blue: #FF33b5e5
Red: #FF750005
Purple: #FF9400f0
Pink: #FFff00ff
**The Sources folder contains the .xcf (gimp-sorry no .psd) files to edit any graphics and also fonts.**
Directions for Apex Launcher:
Code:
1) Download and install Apex Launcher Pro. Has to be Pro because of the widget overlay.
2) Download and install UCCW
3) Connect your phone via USB
4) In the /sdcard directory copy over all of the folders except the "Sources" folder. Merge the folders if it asks.
5) You now have everything ready to setup. (just wanted to add a step lol)
6) Go to your gallery and in the "GCR_Wallpaper" folder you will see the main wallpaper. You have to crop it as big as it can go and as low as it can go then hit "Crop".
7) Start by opening Apex Settings and click on "Backup & restore" and restore the "settings" and "desktop data"
8) Hit Home button and let it refresh.
You should now have only ONE homescreen and some icons that don't really appear to be icons on the homescreen. Along with a "7x5" layout.
9) Add a "1x2" UCCW widget to the middle of the square. When it opens select "GCR_Clock" and then hit the back button.
The Clock should appear and be themed with the colors already. Longpress to resize and pull the right side over one column and do the same on the left and pull down one.
Should be "3x3" now. If not, play around with it til it is.
10) Add a "5x1" UCCW widget just under the "05 Current Conditions" part of the screen. When it opens, restore to "GCR_Weather" and back out.
After it sets on the screen you will need to longpress and resize this one pulling it down one row. Should be "5x2" now. Adjust your settings to work for your area if you need to.
11) Edit the folders with your own desired apps.
12) You now have the GCR Homescreen setup :)
Optional Lockscreen setup. This one is a bit more tricky if your ROM doesn't support custom lockscreen images. In fact i have no idea how you would get this one lol
Code:
1) In your ROM settings look for your "Lock Screen" or similar. Then select it.
2) Select "Background" and choose custom image.
3) Navigate to the "GCR Wallpapers" folder and selct the lockscreen of your choice. For a smidge more customized, select the "GCR_lock_wallpaper_Sprint" image if you have Sprint.
4) YES the green is there so u know not to scale to that area. Crop the image so that its starting from the very top and it's touching both sides.
5) Select Crop
6) Hit the power button
7) Hit the power button again to see the beautiful creation :)
**note: don't unlock it to keep looking at the awesomeness**
If anyone tries this and gets it working with Nova Launcher... Please lmk here with your setup instructions for that launcher!
**Disclaimer**
all statusbar images and custom app icons on the lockscreen are included when you try the Free version of my GCS - CM9 Theme Chooser, theme found on the Play Store... Click the link above for details on that theme!! Sorry only works with Theme Chooser!!
Download Instructions:
Download the .zip file and extract and proceed to follow installation instructions...
These folders will stay updated with the LATEST edits that I apply to it... optional wallpapers and icons will be added to this folder so be sure to check it for any updates!!
GCR - Dropbox Folder
SCR - Dropbox Folder
RCR - Dropbox Folder - main color = #FF1245E0
note: ALL zips starting with "RCR" have "SCR" weather/clock widget color settings and will need to be edited manually. The main color used will be next to each theme!

nope... this works with ANY ROM... i had it on a JB (4.1) port that i was running earlier... read the disclaimer on the bottom of post 1 for full details!
love it
thanks
i'll take a few requests for icons to add to the bottom and will try to provide a link for that folder on db so you all can grab whatever you need... i can also walk you guys through how to make your own icons so that i'm not the one doing all the work here haha...
for example... i made this "Settings" icon as well (included in original .zip) and just changed the icon on the desktop to reflect the new app...

unfortunately that is part of the wallpaper... i can edit the original image really quick but i don't have a settings image to replace that one with... unless you want me to delete that part of the wallpaper and then just leave it blank so you can add the settings icon??
btw, i updated the 2nd post with a link to a db folder that will always have the latest wallpapers for this!!

Read the directions in the op... #4 specifically... I never mentioned anything about uzip...
That entire uccw folder gets copied over to your sdcard... the proper directories for the specific backups for the clock and weather are in that folder already...

Kustom Live Wallpaper (KLWP) is the most powerful HD Wallpaper creator ever! KWGT is Widget creator counterpart. Use their awesome WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor to create you own design and display any data you need, at once, and with wonderful animations too (KLWP only)! If you need more info or have questions please use these thread:
KLWP: http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/app-kustom-live-wallpaper-t2916666
KWGT: http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/app-kwgt-kustom-widget-maker-android-4-4-t3225173
Please use this thread to share Kustom Komponents WIPs, Kustom Komponent Screens or links to free Kustom Komponents (komp.zip files)
Komponents are basically presets inside a preset or reusable items, so a way in Kustom to create your own redistributable object. So, for example, let's say you want to create a clock but hide the complexity to the user and enable him to just set the color and the font in use, well, Komponents will do exactly that!
Material Clock Komponent sample: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RbvJwPQeTNc
Signal Bar Komponent tutorial: http://kustom.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/434600
Quick reference, how to create a komponent
Open a preset, press "+" on top right to add a new module
Select Komponent -> New Skin
Create your Komponent possibly using "globals" (for globals check http://kustom.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/426738-how-to-use-globals)
Export the Komponent pressing the "export" icon on top bar
Go in your SD card under "Kustom/Komponents"
Share the file "komp.zip" as it is
How to use a Komponent
Copy the "komp.zip" file as it is in the SD card under "Kustom/Komponents"
Open a preset, press "+" on top right to add a new module
Select Komponent -> SD Card and browse for the desired Komponent
Weather Komponents
Since weather komponents are quite a common need i have attached an example one to start with so you can create a new one very very quickly. There are 2 ways to do that:
From PC:
Open the attached komp.zip file
Replace all the images in the "Bitmaps" folders keeping the same names
Save the Zip
Done!! If you want also to change title / author either edit the "preset.json" file in the zip or import export as instructions below
From the device:
Add the Komponent from your SD card
Go inside the Komponent and Inside the "Bitmap Group" with the Advanced Editor
Pick a new image for every state listed (so enter the image, press "pick image" and choose the corresponding image)
Export with your details / name / description
Done!
Welcome everyone! Show us what you've made!
Baseline Komponent for the creation of Weather Iconsets
This komponent should be available to all of you in the next update, but if you want it now have at it in the link below.
So this is a fairly straight forward iconset using the well know Climacons glyph set.
There are several reasons I built and released this as an unlocked, free, Komponent.
1st. You can use this as a base to create your own LOCKED/Paid Komponent APKs. You still have to do a bit of work, but all of the code base is already in place for making the right icon show.
2nd. The globals here give you some ideas on what you should be including with your iconset Komponents. Just having a font is OK, but having other stuff like background shapes is better.
3. This is FAR easier to handle in terms of creating weather layouts. You no longer need to go into the code and change wi(icon) to wf(icon, #) for every single icon you have in your forecast list.
Simply add the Komponent, and choose from the DAY dropdown list which you want, Current or Forecast#, the code takes care of the rest.
List of Globals
*Day* (list) - Choose current or forecast day number
*Iconset* (font) Change the icons the Komponent uses easily
*Icon* (color) - Changes the color of the weather icon
*IconSize* (number) Change the size of the weather icon relative to BG
*Outline* (toggle) Change icon to an outline
*Stroke* (number) Change the width of the outline.
*BGStyle* (list) Change background shape (off, square, Circle, Exagon)
*BG* (color) Change the color of the backgroud shape
*Corners* (number) adjust the corner roundness on the BG shape.
Please remember that if you change the font used, you do HAVE TO go into the "Weather Icon" text layer and change the formula to reflect with characters your icons are assigned to.
Saved for a How-To on editing the code for your own font.
Coming soon.

Please check post on top, just copy it in the SD card under "Kustom/komponents" (the directory should already be there), then you can add it in the editor as you add a shape or text, just select Komponent -> SD card and browse for this. Since that Komponent is unlocked you will start in simple mode (you will see the tunable options only) but if you want to edit the komponent you can just "unlock" it and see the internals.

Thanks but precisely the problem is that I don't see a folder called Komponents. I have bitmaps, wallpapers and fonts. That's it.☺
Edit: OK, never mind, I just created it...

Ooops! The "komponents" folder is not created automatically. I have fixed this on next version, you will have to create it manually this time or just try adding a komponent, select SD card, it will show an empty list but create the folder. Thanks for reporting!!

New Premium Weather Komponent
Soft Elements
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.qlagdesigns.softelements
This is the first of many weather iconset komponents, I will be releasing.
This Komponent takes the "Kitchen Sink" approach to its design. Thats to say that there are a large number of GLOBALS, to allow you to take my icon design and make it your own. All in all there are 30 globals for customization. Allowing you to change everything from the size of the icon, its color, its design, to the shape, color and other special characteristics of background shapes.
*LIST OF GLOBALS:*

Media App Iconset.
*Media Icon Komponent is live in the playstore*
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.qlagdesigns.mediaapps
*Since Im offering this up for free, do me a favor and rate the app.*
This Komponent allows you to display an icon of the currently selected Music source.
There are a total of 40 different media apps that are supported by this iconset.
Additionally there are two other icons to handle apps that do not have their own icon.
1- A generic media icon, that appears only when none of the package name checks in the string are true.
2- A special icon that only displays if Media Utilities renders a null output for current package name. This icon is useful to relay the fact that a source needs to be choose.
This Komponent is UNLOCKED you can do with it as you like, so long as your follow two conditions.
1. You may NOT repackage this as your own Komponent and attempt to sell it.
2. If you use this in your own project and decide to sell said project, please provide attribution.
*IMPORTANT INFO*
This Komponents code uses Media Utilities to provide the package name of the current app in use. When Kustom builds this feature directly into the app, I will update this Komponent to reflect the new variables.
The Playstore version of Media Utilities is no longer being updated and does not seem to function with this Komponent. You need the latest build meant for KitKat, v153. You will need to side load this apk. The files can be found on the Media Utilities Beta Community page. https://plus.google.com/communities/103994832080931061321

Hi Frank! First I want to thank you for this masterpiece, one of the best apps I've used on android. I just have one question. Is changing weather icons available only in paid version?
