[MetaMorph][08/08/2010] Kevlar Froyo Mash v.05

I have since allowed my work back here on XDA. Thanks to users, this is back up. I dont have any files but some members have uploaded them for your enjoyment. If you have a version that isnt listed below, please upload it and I will put your link here. And if you have screen shots, post those too and i will put them here as well. Screen shots in #2 post.

Okay, here's another of the lock screen and one w/o wifi.

Ha thanks glad to help , note for the screenshots, the text in the taskbar isn't as black/blending as it makes it out to be. Ya the text is still solid black, but you can read it easily against the taskbar.
Course it's all up to the user's preference

Download Busy box from market first and install it, then get metamorph and install it. Have the zip on your sd card, then start up metamorph, and it's pretty self-explanatory from there.

Nice job on the theme. I always liked the black notification bar and the circle battery. Is there a way to get it to display the battery percentage in the middle of the circle? Or can you modify the free Battery Widget to make it blue to fit with theme? Thanks!

If you look around in the cyanogen settings there is the option to show percentage, worked for me anyways

I could be wrong but that looks like the Beautiful Widgets clock. I use beautiful widgets also and like how you can download or create and apply different skins to it to change the font, clock and weather icons, background and layout.

Looks like Beautiful Widgets...the screen shots are from Duffman as I dont have Kaos on my phone yet.

I'm assuming (and crossing my fingers) that you'll be continuing work on this theme. If thats the case, I have a request. Could you try to incorporate the "checkerboard" taskbar background that you have in Kevlar Mash?

Knew there was one missing, I'll get on it, doing Gtalk and Whatsapp too.

They look really good. I Especially like the Mosaic icons. Might I suggest some icons? Basically most used apps and system apps off the top of my head.

My psds won't teach you much I'm afraid.
Theres not much to making a glassy / glossy effect, you just draw over the item you want it done to with a circular shape (easiest to work with). Apply brightness, white to transparent gradient. Just think about where the light is, keep having a go on photoshop

Yeah I got the one rar with the psds just noticed now actually as I am sitting down to work on them. I think thats great you would do that. Changing those colors is as easy as just messing with the hue/saturation. I already have a few of them done. If anyone else wants custom colors I would be willing to do help out.

So here is one I found missing. An icon for email. I used the files PSD and found an envelope online hope you all enjoy it. This is using the Thick Glass PSD.

EDIT: OK, so here is a small update including some requests. Also included in the zip is a CS5 .ai file that I have used as the base for these. Fonts are 'Arial Regular' for the headers and 'Dimitri Swank' for the text based icons. Dimitri Swank is available for free from most of the usual font repositories so I won't be putting it up here.
Thanks for the kind words so far folks, now let your skills run wild with the attached ai. Remember to keep the designs simple so that they fit nicely.

Glad to hear that you like them. They're all done solely in Illustrator. I will get round to sharing the ai eventually. Maybe later on today.

Alrighty ladies and gents.
I have worked very hard these past 48 hours or so on this set of icons. Initially I was going to work on them over the next week or two but then I realized how busy I'm going to be with other things.
I sank in alot of time to get these done fast because I really like these icons and I think you will too.

These icons were optimized for ADW Ex Launcher and work great! I'm sure other launchers will work with them as well, though I have not tested them on anything other than ADW Ex.

Here's a custom dock I made to go with GEARS icons

I also have more dock ideas...but I may need to lay off and really concentrate on building a whole theme.

I've been into android theming since late 2009 when I bought my first android HTC Hero.

Noticed a glitch on FlatLoader slider, there's black line on it.
No idea where it's coming from. I've tried to mess with it, with no luck
Screen is 720p if it matters.
Oh and your slider isn't even near to pixel perfect, which is downside for me.
Is it possible to make it match the screen resolution, so it won't get resized ?

This happens sometimes when you'r stretching the slider to size not intended to it... Try if you center the slider and resize it so there is a 1x1 grid space on the bouth sides of the slider...
And yes.. my sliders are pixel perfect, the thing is WidgetLocker cant tell the right size they are intended to use since they are based on plane PNG.s and not vectors...
