The Sprint Tab got updated with Gingerbread recently as we all know. One of the things it was supposed to fix was HID support. Does that mean it will now support this case from Thinkgeek?
http://www.thinkgeek.com/clearance/on-sale/e7e3/
The case says it only works with ATT and TMobile, but I wonder if that has changed now with the Sprint GB update adding HID support. Anyone know?
The keyboard will work if you have updated. I have purchased one of these too ( I have GSM, but have read multiple places including here; see comments here). Personally, I don't like the case, prefer my Scosche case. The keyboard is alright, it is rubber form factored and only stuck to the case via double-sided tape. I will admit it is still a bargain for a BT keyboard at $25 but I didn't examine the keyboard layout too well and was disappointed to see there is no ctrl key and missing a few other keys of that nature. I may just remove the keyboard from the case, neutralize the double-sided tape and use it standalone when needed. That was more than you wanted to know but figured I'd give you my opinion as well, that was free.
I'm wondering if it will work on my verizon tab running the sprint gb rom is bt in the rom or the kernel?
Sent from my ADR6300 using XDA App
I would also be interested as it relates to the verizon model.
Why would it not work with verizon version anyway? It's bluetooth correct? I can connect my Apple BT keyboard no problem and I'm on the stock Rom.
I have thinkgeek keyboard, it will indeed work on sprint tab after GB update
I ordered one. I had a hard time passing on the $25 price tag. We'll post a review when it gets here.
Heh...my 2 cents wasn't worth enough to you?
I gave a small review in my reply to you, bet you'll feel the same especially if you have a form fitting case already, heck...if you thanked me I would've offered you mine for $10 free shipping.
No offense, but I never buy just one review. I always wait until I get 2-3 reviews at least before I make a decision.
Case came in today. It paired with no problem, but the space bar does not work at all. Might be operator error. I'm charging it to full first before I contact TG and see about getting a refund/replacement. The case is a little large for my liking.
Edit: Charging it seemed to fix the problem. I'm not sure I like the case though. It's too big for my liking and doesn't have a clasp on it.
works fine with Sprint GT. For $31 incl shipping it's a very nice case, paired instantly, and keyboard does what's claimed. Smaller than a netbook, and of course the GT easily slips out for even more portability. There's no "closure" to the case, no wrap-around elastic, or snap-tab. Easily fixed with two blocks of wood, a 10-penny nail, and a hammer. Or some velcro.
I'm a fast typist, and this unit's Bluetooth link (or the GT itself) won't quite keep up with me. Evidently there's an inadequate input buffer. Otherwise ok.
Worth the $$.
Four official Nexus 7 cases and a screen protector. There are prices but no release date as of yet.

Rotating Stand Case
Non-rotating Stand Case
Folio Case
Bluetooth Keyboard Case
Screen Protector
The bluetooth keyboard case looks interesting. I'm wondering how much would it cost..
Edit: "ONLY £79.95"
Mobilefun seems like such a rip off, I don't how they can justify the £39.99 price tag of their folio case...that's $62 for you US folks!!
I imagine over time, the price will come crashing down due to a lack of demand. The prices they have are an absolute joke for what is actually a very average case.
There's always a mark up from the US to the UK, the 8GB Nexus 7 (£160) is the equivalent of $250. It does seem larger for the accessories though, think they're trying to increase their margin.

Good point but even still, from a UK perspective, £39.99 for a folio case (unbranded) is a joke! I don't even think Marware/Case-Mate, Incipio, etc will charge that much!
LOL I love the 'official' - part of the description...
the rotating one and folio - look like the endless ones on ebay.. 'leather' covering the screen..
I would advise people to check ebay before paying that amount for a generic case - no way they are official Asus products..

lol only... half the price of the tablet.
The keyboard case is also the same generic one that's been making the rounds for quite a while. Stamp "genuine" on it (not even "official") and some folks seem to go ape over it.
all of these accessories look the same to what's out already. they will probably cost 2-3x more
I bet these will have the smart cover feature maybe

The cheap $2 cases in eBay have this feature, it's nothing special anymore and even it were, it does not justify these ludicrous prices.
Proof that MobileFun is inflating their claims that these are official, as well as their prices (or perhaps their supplier is fibbing to them?):

EDIT: My posts about this on the various "news" sites are being deleted, so folks aren't being informed. Hopefully the sites will post an update. I hate to see a retailer get all of this free advertising and make their customers pay inflated prices due to false claims.
I can't imagine using a such a small keyboard.....
The keyboard case definitely looks like an improvement from what's available - thinner, smaller, more solidly built. I can't imagine those are the actual prices they will be sold for in the US - no one will buy a $125 keyboard case for a $250 tablet.
Are there any usable, elegant Docks for our 4X? I guess there's a few Universal MicroUSB Docks around, but are they nice? I'd be a bit worried about the rather small MicroUSB connector.
I use a cheap Samsung Galaxy SII deck stand from ebay and it fits perfectly and charges.
There is an elegant looking dock in the german amazon store. (Since the same thing gets sold by 3 different merchants I guess it's available in other countries as well):
http://www.amazon.de/mumbi-Optimus-4X-Dockingstation-Ladestation/dp/B0091R85UK/ref=pd_ybh_17
I will probably buy one in a few days and give feedback if it's worth the money (The gap between the dock and the device looks like it could damage the USB-Port)

im goin to fix that myself, im going to get doube sized tape (1mm thick) and put the nfc tag on it, then stick it there, and then it would be in dekstop mode at the dock, thats how im going to fix it
Like the title states, I soon will get 32GB+3G version of it, thinking to buy the dock when it comes out.
I now have Galaxy Nexus, long story short, I liked the dock that was in the first time Google showed it, after that there was bug in firmware, I could not find it for cheap and have no money, I waited and waited, and finally after some month of waiting, I put my hands on some accessories for it, that was the desktop multimedia dock, genuine MHL & OTG Samsung adapters, an extended battery (in retail pack btw), and the last but not least was the SGP Crumena case in black, my problem was that I needed a case but one I can get the device in and out quickly, neprene pouches are crap and looks cheap, so the leather pouch was a perfect solution with addition with the strap on the back and magnet is just the best.
I sent them a question if it possible to make me a custom case, till they answer, is there any other leather case out there that have a strap and magnet the some of you use and/or can recommend me? as you understand I will use the dock, so again I back for the same solution :silly: damn why they make a dock that cant hold a device with a case? sure the Galaxy Nexus designed for both standard and extended batter/cover, but that it, 3rd party docks are ok, but what good it will do with stress to the USB connector? even 3rd party docks for iPhones & iPods have interchangeable thing to fit with a case, just reminds me of same ****ing story with BB 9700 and a dock, it's like it chasing me from then, I admit it, I love docks, even if the just works as only stand and charger.
Well I think I will go with that one
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Deluxe-Mo...lePhonesCasesPouches&var=&hash=item826aef259a
some good comments about it.
Yep, I have the green one. Love mine.
Still no answer from SGP, but I checked out other MOFi products and very impressed, I'w seen there a 7XL size pouch:
http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a1z10.3.0.109.x4SCU6&id=9236794437&
but have one concern the depth is 20mm, isn't it will be to lose inside?
For my Galaxy Nexus I will go for 5XL phone size:
http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a1z10.1.3794121-713565359.24.Ev7wgS&id=15320374460
but it 10mm in depth, so that why I think 7XL size will be on a loose side..
I have D415, ordered S-line case on ebay. It doesn't fit right, slightly smaller than my phone. I wonder if its a defect or made for 405/410 models? Cutouts don't align properly and the case doesn't fit. I like the case. Its cheap and grippy. The screen protector that was included with it is not perfect edge to edge but it fits ok. Ordered another protector from a different seller and its the same fit. Looking for seller recommendations for good-fitting edge-to-edge screen protector and s-line case.
forgot to mention got my hands on the original ipod/iphone earpods. mic works great with this phone. I use it to record phone conversations on landline. For some reason the same earpods don't work with s3. Also earpod buttons can control some 3rd party camera apps. Something i discovered recently after playing with bt remotes.
Is the LG Optimus L90 D415 bigger than the D405/410? I just bought a case and it seems to be too small for my phone.

same here. The seller i bought from says its not for 415 and 405/410 are different. Seller has a picture of what looks like 415 but 415 is not listed. Ordered from another seller that has 405/510/415 listed. That seller says they are the same. No separate option to order for different modes. 16 days after ordering received ebay notification my item has shipped. it'll be another month before i know if this case is the right one, if i ever receive it.

The one I got that didn't fit was from cellphonecases.com. It looks like it might be awhile until I find one that fits. If you would, please let me know what you find, thanks.

the first case that doesn't fit bought on ebay - seller hksanho. waiting for the second case from seller buyeasy-uk2. will post when/if it arrives. s-line tpu case.
Just in case nobody knows this, if you get some headphones, earbuds, or IEMs that are designed to work with Samsung Galaxy devices (since the Galaxy S2, iirc) they'll work perfectly with LG devices like the G2, G3, L90, L9, Tribute, and so on.
I have a pair of Koss Steel earbuds that I "transplanted" to a Samsung cord w/remote about 2 years ago, plugged them into my G2 a few weeks back and was happily surprised they functioned as expected: Play/Pause/Next works as it should and the Volume buttons work properly as well.
No additional software required... just wanted to toss that out there so other people know if they don't already. You can get Samsung Galaxy earbuds on eBay for like $10 or less these days, the cord quality is excellent and very difficult to get knotted up because of the way it's designed and the particular materials it's made of make it pretty much knot-resistant too. I keep mine in a pocket in my shorts most of the time, take 'em out and they're ready to go in seconds without having to fight to untangle 'em.
Just an FYI for folks with LG devices.

I will no longer order cases for this phone on ebay. S-LINE case from two different sellers did not fit D415. Its smaller than the phone. Sellers either don't know what their suppliers sell or play the "i refund you leave 5 start positive feedback" game selling defective crap. Very annoying. Always buy cheap cases on ebay, never had a problem before.
I hope someone can find a case online that fits and post the link.

The case I bought from cellphonecases.com fit. I didn't think that it fit at first. I thought that I had to make it fit in the case by pressing hard. Someone showed me that I had to pull off the rubber casing and then pull apart the plastic pieces, which go on the front and back of the phone. Then put the rubber casing back on and it worked.
Where can i buy original lg g2 earphones for small amount of money?
on aliexpress or ebay or amazon. there is cheapper than in any other store
