I figured I would share some info on a cool app for guys like me that like to theme the heck out of their phone. You can have a different wallpaper for each screen or I like to think of it as a different theme for each page.

Cool - I have never seen this. Thx for posting!
Ah, interesting. It's a live wallpaper.
This app only lets me choose from my live wallpapers, not my gallery. what gives?
There's another app on the market called multiple wallpapers that works pretty well too. You apply it as if it's a live wallpaper, but it uses the static wallpapers that you can pick from your sd card.

Are you referring to the Multipicture Live Wallpaper app? I searched this topic and ran into a thread about that app.
I tried it, and, while it allowed me to select from static wallpapers, I couldn't figure out how to pick multiple wallpapers. I would select one, hit set wallpaper and it would just load 7 random wallpapers on my 7 different screens.
I couldn't figure it out.
I'm pretty sure it's doable in Photoshop or GIMP...melissapugs made me one a couple weeks back that spanned 4 pages and worked perfectly, but, I don't know how to do it in those programs.

So there are too many backgrounds I like, and I was thinking if there is an app that will cycle through a gallery or folder of walllpapers. Like in windows how it changes every so often if you choose to.
Get multipicture live wallpaper from the market. I use it right now for the exact same reasons you just requested! Works great too.

VERY Nice, thanks.
No problem at all. It's a pretty nifty app. You can mix and match transitions with launcherpro and adw so when you scroll from screen to screen, it all meshes smoothly. I've had it for about a week and I haven't stopped playing with it!

Combined with LP makes me lose track of the time of day
I use an app called Wallpaper Rotator
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I897 using XDA App
I remember in a previous ROM I had (Cant remember which one D: ) when setting a wallpaper I had the ability to choose a portrait wallpaper, or a scrollable "wide wallpaper". I would love to get that back, as I have many 480x800 wallpapers that I have to blow-up and pixelate because I cant set is as a portrait wallpaper D:
Suggestions?

Just to be clear, you want one wallpaer to just stay in the center of the screen?
If so press menu-->prefences-->appearance-->Disable wallpaper scrolling.
If that's not what you want, just say so.

No, cause even with wallpaper scrolling turned off it still wants you to crop the image to be scrollable. I have tried 5+ launchers but im pretty sure it has to do with whatever handles the wallpaper chooser.

Answer me this, is the wallpaper you have a portrait wallpaper? And if so try this, go into prefrences and then homescreen. Change number of screens to 1 and then set your wallpaper. Does that fix it?

Negatory.
It still wants me to crop the photo in a 4:3 ratio.
Did this with GO Launcher, LauncherPro, and ADW EX. To no avail.

Download picspeed hd wallpapres app...when setting up a wallpaper u go to picspeed app.. u have many choices there..
I have no account for u to donate but atleast u can point a thumb upwards!
I'm really having trouble setting my own wallpaper. Ridiculous, I know.
When I select an image via Personalize > Wallpaper > Gallery I can select the image and it says it's been set as my wallpaper... but it hasn't been.
Any ideas on this one? Kinda figured this'd be the easiet thing in the world.
This is exclusive to images I download. Photos taken with the camera can be set without issue.
Are the pictures .png or .jpg format?
I have experienced the same once, but after reboot the wallpaper was changed to the new one.

.jpg and I just tried a reboot with no luck. Will I have greater success with .png?
Are you sure that the wallpaper are in the correct size?
Try to take one of the pictures that works and compare to the one's that don't work. Or you can send a PM to me with the one that don't work, so i can tjeck it in Photoshop
Are you using HTC Sense launcher or eg. ADW Launcher, because there is a difference in size on wallpaper.
I'm using HTC Sense launcher. What is the correct resolution?
Thanks again!
Wallpaper size should be 800x480 with HTC Sense launcher. With e.g. ADW launcher it's 960x800.
Try using an app called wallpaper wizardrii from market it works like a charm for me.
Anyone know an application to change the wallpaper at a time interval?
Can't you just use a live wallpaper that plays a slideshow of the photos on your sd card?
go to mobile9.com>software>search live>look for MultiPicture Live Wallpaper

why "mobile9.com" ? go directly to the market !
why does it matter from where you get it .... point is you got what you needed...
no?
I use "Zedge" download it free from the market, you can make it to change background every hour, 12 hours or 24 hours, you need to download those wallpapers using zedge
I'm actually using Backgrounds
my question is...
i am pretty sure that gnote can have two different live wallpapers,
one on lockscreen and the other on homescreen.
with LA4 (DBT) i think i was able to assign two different live wallpapers. (wp clock on lockscreen/other picture on homescreen).
then, i haven't really paid attention to it lately, but i figured since the recent OTA upgrade to LB1, if i try to assign wp clock on lockscreen, homescreen wallpaper also automatically changes to wp clock. when i change homescreen, Lockscreen goes along with it.
i can put 2 different jpeg file but apparently no two live-wallpapers..
does anyone know the reason and/or solution to this ?
Han
if you want you can try using WidgetLocker. Aside from the possibility of using a live wallpaper on the lockscreen, it also allows you to put widgets on the lockscreen. HTH

I actually tried them long time ago.. i did not like them cuz it caused so many bugs at that time..
Im sure it's gotten better since then but i prefer original lock screen.
thanks a lot anyways!
I'm using Multipicture Live Wallpaper right now, and I have no problem configuring two different sets.
