Actually no, if you are on 2.1 you do not need to be. You do need to be to backup your apps.

Answer is probably yes. I might forgive a WinMo 6.5, or even and Windows Phone 7, but a crackberry?

I'm using Oldmacnut's Gingerbread ROM. I think it's called Confidence and Paranoia. Its workin' pretty well for me.

ROM manager thinks phone is i9000

So
ROM manager won't let me see cappy stuff because it thinks I'm an i9000 how can change that?

Y u'd u wanna use rom manager in the 1st place? (It was only handy back in froyo days or over on AOSP) I'd advise u to leave it behind, forget about that app

Are you on the app?
If so then hit menu in the espresso thread and hit menu then browser if in free XDA app and menu>more>browser if in paid app.

I made a rom with ics dump and gb kernel but as expected didn't boot...I'm going to play with kernel but more then likely we will have to wait for root so someone can pull boot image. Also sounds like they locked or changed the bootloader.

anybody know if it has fixed the ghost call issue? I had to stop using my thrill since it was messing with my business, I was just about to return it to stock and sell it before i saw this thread
