Anybody else having trouble with BT headsets unpairing spontaneously? - Motorola Droid 3

I'm using a Rocketfish RF-EX7 with my Verizon Droid 3, and yesterday, I started having problems with the bluetooth headset spontaneously disconnecting from the phone and refusing to re-pair until I turn off BT and turn it back on, and do the same with my headset.
I'm not sure what I did to cause this to start happening, but it's incredibly annoying. Any ideas on what might have caused it and how to fix it?

I don't have any answers for you, but I was having the same problem on Saturday. I had used it without issues for weeks and then boom. It wasn't even consistent with how long it would work either. ~5 minutes a couple times then ~25 minutes before it cut out.
I was hoping it was just a fluke until I read this.

happens to me on my plantronics. I've noticed things just stop working after awhile on the D3 until I reboot it. first GPS, then bluetooth, sometimes even the screen

Bluetooth issues on 4.4.4...scratchy/cutting in and out

Does anyone else have this issue? I have a stock Moto X on 4.4.4. I use it at work with a bluetooth LG headset and up until a few weeks ago never, ever had a problem with it. I cant pinpoint when it became to happen, if I had to guess Id say a month or 2 ago, it got to the point where I literally have to keep the phone in my pocket to get a clear bluetooth connection. Now, its to the point I cant even do that. I have to have the phone right in front of me, unobstructed, to get a clear stream. If I walk away from it 2-3 feet it gets terribly scratchy and the audio cuts in and out.
I began to think maybe the headset was going bad. I got out my old Bionic and found I have no issues with the headset. I can walk 30+ feet away with it connected with clear stream. I just bought a car with bluetooth connectivity and also have problems with the bluetooth crashing on the phone, yet my kids phones connect with no problem.
Ive googled the issue and only found a few people that seem to have the same problems. They said it seemed to have happened with the latest update to 4.4.4. My phone shows the last update was August 1. Thats coming up on 3 months ago, that seems a little long ago when the issue first started, but I know Ive been dealing with this for at least 6 weeks. Its possible it has been 3 months.
I have cleared the cache in recovery mode, no help. Short of doing a factory reset I dont know what else to try. One person that had this issue did a factory reset and said it didnt help. So I dont necessarily want to wipe my phone to find out it didnt fix it.
Was hoping the update to 5.0 might fix this, but who knows when thats coming, especially on Verizon.
Any suggestions to this issue?

Bluetooth disconnecting from car radio

When I got my SD after about a week it started disconnecting from my cars Bluetooth by it self. I did a factory reset which seemed to cure it. Now a month later it's started again this past weekend. I reset it again but this time it only worked for a day. Took yesterdays update, but it didn't help. It's still doing it. I know there's been other threads about this, but no real answers. Anyone have any more ideas on how to fix this correctly before I send it back?
Do you have call audio turned off?

Nope. And its not that I dont hear callers, it completely disconnects from the car stereo, only to reconnect again, a moment later, it will do this 2-5 times over 5 minutes or so.

I meant to ask if you have media turned off? My phones do this if I don't have both, phone and media, connected. I used to turn off media when I was using navigation cuz I couldn't hear the directions.. That's how I found out.

Did you ever get this problem fixed? I have been having the same problem connecting to my 2015 Mazda 3. It connects for about a minute or so and the disconnects and reconnects. If I get a phone call when this happens it causes some sound problems with my phone even after I leave my car. I can't hear phone calls through the speaker at all. I think it's a glitch with Bluetooth because when this happens and I press the volume up button, the Bluetooth volume is adjusted instead of the speaker volume (even if I turn Bluetooth off). The only way to fix it is to reboot my phone.
I haven't installed any mods or rooted my phone. Bluetooth works fine for every other device I have tried, although they have been simple Bluetooth speakers and file transfers to my PC. This started after T-mobile sent the 5.1.1 update about a month ago. I hope I can find a fix soon because I can't use my car speaker phone anymore.
I had this problem when I updated my s6 to whatever update tmobile pushed into my device. I fixed it by hard resetting the phone. Others who have had this happen to them after updating their phone have done the same thing and fixed it.

Just traded in an S5 to take advantage of their current S6 promo...
I have been having the same issue, but basically from the moment I connected the S6. Connect, drop, connect, drop, connect... reset phone, connect, drop.
I have wiped caches, reinstalled apps, factor reset, etc...
I'm over it. The phone is nice and all, but returning it leaves me $50 poorer... and I don't have a phone now.
Functional bluetooth is a deal breaker for me, and I can't believe how many occurrences I found for this (... and it's edge variants) on various forums.
Total bummer... I can (and will) swap out for another one... but, not holding my breath.
I firmly believe this is an Android issue and not a Touchwiz/Samsung thing.
Was just reading that Nexus users getting Marshmallow are reporting BT connections issues out of nowhere...
Apple sucks. Android sucks. Windows 10 mobile sucks. I suck!!! and everything sucks. ;-P

Huawei p9 EMUI 5 update broke a few things, please help.

After the update a few issues have risen. I've attempted to search for solutions for each one, with no avail.
These are issues that never happened before the update, and started right on the next day.
1. Audio apps close when locking the screen.
When I have a podcast running (on beyondpod) and I lock the screen from the off button, the app will either keep running, or close.
I have found a few questions like this on here and other forums, but none with a definative answer.
I've done a few of the suggestion, like cleared the cache. But is there an actual solution to this?
2. Bluetooth turns off/loses connection to my pebble 2. I think these might be connected.
While using a bluetooth headset, there are no issues. However I constantly (should) have my pebble connected to my phone. However, very quickly it loses the connection. It randomly finds the connection again randomly, but it wont stay connected for very long. Sometimes I catch my phone with the bluetooth turned off, however turning it back on wont neccessarily connect it to the pebble. I also tested out with IFTT, and everytime the phone cut the bluetooth connection it woul send me a notification. And it happened multipe times within the hour. Sometimes taking tens of minutes to reconnect, sometimes not reconnecting it at all.
3. Google Timeline (the thing that draws a map of where you've been and how you've traveled)
I used this to follow my cycling and walking, since step counters dont recongnize cycling very well or at all. However since the update the pages are all empty. It just wont recognize my movement at all. I later noticed that the location gathering accesses had been reset, but even after giving them access again there is absolutely nothing saved onto my timelines.
Please, if you have any ideas what is doing this, or any ideas how to fix one, or each of these, leave a reply...
If nothing else I'll have to rollback to Marshmallow... And I've really grown to like the split screen!
hi, having same problem as #3 on my brand new Huawei Mate 10 pro. did you ever solve the issue? thanks

Delayed texts after Bluetooth switched on

My LG G6 has an issue where SMS messages can be delayed up to 12 hours when the Bluetooth after the Bluetooth is turned on. The only work around I have is to keep the Bluetooth off and if I do turn it on, I must restart the phone in order to get back SMS functionality. This problem is apparently common as I have found posts on other forum pages, NOT A HARDWARE PROBLEM. Many forum posters detail getting multiple replacement phones and having the same problem out of the box. Ive had it for 3 months and the problem started 5 days ago.
I wasn't aware that it was a Bluetooth issue, I've always kept my Bluetooth on. I'm on my 2nd G6. Last week I started having the same issue again, called Tmo and was promised that it will never happen again. I'm guessing they did some type of background update... so far so good
I called a few days ago to customer service about this issue. It's definitely Bluetooth related. I've tried everything and nothing has helped.
Guy I talked to at tech support said he had no clue what it was or how to fix it. As soon as I connect my phone to anything Bluetooth, that's it. Even if I restart phone it doesn't help. I have to shut down Bluetooth then restart phone and leave Bluetooth off.
This had to be the most annoying bug over ever experienced.

Bluetooth sync issue

Just wanted to ask if anyone else has this issue. Whenever I look to connect my Bluetooth headphones to the phone, it causes a freeze problem. This only seems to have happened the last couple of times I've tried it. Also, it only seems to happen when I've already turned on the Bluetooth setting on the headphones before I then search for devices on the phone. It gets stuck in some kind of freeze loop. Only way out is to try to hard reset the app. Initially, I panicked cos I can't pull the battery out.
