Please help me...
Apparently my phone updated without my consent and now it's stuck in a boot loop. It just stays at the LG screen and constantly keeps rebooting. Apparently the SIM card is invalid?
I have already deleted all of the data 5 times and flashed the V4 about 2...
Can anyone help?
Thanks,
C
Have you tried hard booting it? You will lose everything though

If you would've read, I said I've already reformatted. Many times. It's stuck in an endless boot loop now and I doesn't even recognize the sim card. However I did get it to turn on.
EDIT: I finally got to the Factory Data Reset option... it's reformatting now. Hopefully this will work!
Amazing. It's playing the startup sound again and it turned on the first time... still waiting to see if the SIM card still works or not.
That's what I meant by hard boot.

well, theres a good chance its a bad sim card. i see that fairly often. the other thing is it could also be a bad sd card. try a different sim card, and a different sd card if you can. did you try factory resetting it? also... where did you get it and why are you sure its not rooted?
Get a new sim card for your carrier

Try doing a factory reset.
Tried my wife's sim and same thing happens.i have a brand new sd card so thats out of the problem too.tried installing different roms too.im desperate to get this fix or just sell it as is.
Problem solved!! called Htc and im getting a replacement for it! funny thing is i got the phone from Craigslist and dont even know if its still on warranty.
I flashed my phone to CM6.1.1 with A2EXT from Gingerbread A2EXT
because CM6 has autofocus in video mode, ever since I flashed CM6
I knew that was a problem because sometime it just froze during boot up,
but once it's on, it worked flawlessly. Then today I turned off my N1,
and switch to a charged battery, it never came back on again,
I can't get into recovery mode, however I am able to access fastboot mode.
I have tried unplug sd card, sim card, flashing passimg.zip.
none of these work, I still got 8 days warranty, anyone thinks I should send it
to HTC or try other ways to fix it? The phone was rooted without unlocking bootloader.
Thank you in advance
You could send it to HTC or fix it yourself by unlocking the bootloader.
Unless there is also a physical problem like the power button I would not bother sending it in.

ive had this phone for 3 weeks and i bought an 8GB MicroSD card for it. all of a sudden i couldnt recieve texts messages it kept saying memory full so i deleted a few apps id downloaded and yet still the same problem... i then deleted all the text messages but still had the same problem and had no idea how to fix it. I took to google and was advised to download Gemini file manager to move apps from my handset to my MicroSD but when i tried to transfer them it stuck on 0% and wouldnt work. Yesterday my phone switched itself off then booted back up but it stuck on the Samsung boot logo and didnt move then kept repeating this process of switching itself off and sticking at the boot logo.
I have no idea what im meant to do and if it is indeed bricked and where do i go from here?
i am on contract with Tesco and it has only been about 3 weeks. i Have no done anything to the phone like try to update it in anyway possible, can anyone please help me out here? or is it the fact ive used Gemini File Manager to move files?
Flash Stock ROM with ODIN.
Here is a guide:
http://techdraginfo.blogspot.com/2012/06/install-official-android-236-xwktm.html
how can i manage step 5
5. Enable USB Debugging in your Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 from the path “Settings > Applications > Development > USB debugging”. The option of USB Debugging should be ticked.
if i cant get my phone to turn on past the samsung boot logo? and is this 100% safe?
No, boot into download mode, then use ODIN, nothing to do with debug mode.

Tip No.1 - Don't use Tesco PAYG. That's why I'm on contract with Vodafone.

Hey guys. I just bought my HTC One (via Sprint) a few weeks ago and decided today to root my device.
I followed the youtube videos to a tee and got the device rooted. When I tried to flash a ROM is when I ran into issues...
I first tried Maximus HD 21 - but in my haste, upon installation, I didn't realize it said International One (Where I supposedly needed Sprint). The installation continued but once I rebooted the device it became stuck at the HTC Splash screen. Is there a chance that by running this "International" ROM, it permanently ****ed up my cell phone's radio signal/other aspects?
After that failed, I then wiped all caches/dalvik caches and tried the Bad Boyz ROM. No luck here either. I've tried a few others (insertcoin), to no avail. I made sure these were compatible with Sprint, but still I get stuck on the splash screen. Occassionally, when I get through to the phone itself, my mobile data won't become recognized, and the phone will reboot itself randomly.
Please help me. I'm at my wits' end. I've tried everything I know how to do. I've been trying to flash a stock ROM just to get it back to working order, but I can't figure out which one to use.
Any advice at all is welcome!
tl;dr - Not bricked, but not in working order. Need a working ROM for a Sprint HTC One. Please assist!

So I have been having lots of problem with my phone. I just flashed the RUU and was able to revive the phone after 2 months of trying. The phone boot up and I got everything setup like you would after a factory reset. Then suddenly it crashed and turned off. I booted into bootloader and tried to go into recovery. Since then the phone is stuck between going into recovery and the htc logo. I can't turn the phone off and I can't get into bootloader. I know after 2 months trying different things that there is a major hardware problem. I'm passed the warranty and out of $600 for this phone. So I'm just messing with it now. Any ideas on what I can do to get into bootloader? Even though I won't be able to do **** cuz it will crash again.
I'm looking for a motherboard if anyone knows where to get one.
