[Q] does a factory reset re-lock a currently unlcoked vibrant?

so does a factory reset wipe out the unlock, and re-lock my vibrant to T-mobile?

Depend on how have u unlocked the phone..... I think factory reset with wipe out the unlock coding. In case if the unlock has been rooted & than done than it won't.

Hello! I want to reset my phone.My phone was unlocked when i bought it on ebay.If i do reset phone unlock will gone or will stay?

it will stay. resetting is different from unlocking.

I have sim unlocked my from O2 Uk and it has remained unlocked even after flashing the custom Roms .. no problems whatever

i have a hd7 i have unlocked it with chevron and hack the reg so it won't lock back i installed the nodo update and it is still unlocked but i have 6 gigs lost so i need to do a hardreset is it a way that i can do that and keep it unlocked since it worked with the update

Okay Im seriously in the brink of throwing my phone to the garbage. I really got hooked on HD7 cuz of the commercials. I had a blackberry and a my touch3g before HD7. There are tons of features missing like custom ringtones and I would at least would love to have that on my HD7. Don't get me wrong I sorta like my phone and all but key features are lacking. Is there some way to have them enabled? I have the NODO update released by Tmobile. Or a ROM I can install to my HD7?
Also any word on the Andoid OS development on HD7?
PS. Is there any tutorial on how to flash the ROM or hack?

Chevron your phone, apply the fix to stop it re-locking, then apply the NoDo update and it remains unlocked.

Exactly what i did. I had NoDo with locked phone, Flashed a 7008 Rom, locked the phone, prevented it from Relocking and then applied NoDo. My phone's now on NoDo and still unlocked.
