Hi everybody.
Is there a Rom for X8 that can give the same "perfect and smooth" video recording as the standard SE 2.1?
I've tried GingerDX (from 008 to 011) and FroyoBread 023b but they are laggy in video rec.
Or maybe is there a tweak?

Ginger is not laggy at video recording, what are you talking about_?
Try LgCamera maybe and set decoding different

as we known that on stock camera MIUI the flaslight wont work on video recording, so i'm looking for the app for video recording...
then i found app LGCAMERA on the market, and magically it can make the flash light on when take a video recording thru this app...
im on MIUI 1.9.16, work on glitch and jt last update kernels...

lgcamerapro will help you to record videos at a resolution equal with 640x480 and aac sound instead of good ol' AMR

Hey guys i am using ICS333 and semaphore kernel ..
Before updating kernel to 1.2.5 video recording was working like charm, but after upgrading kernel to 1.2.5 when i stat recording video, video becomes dim and gets recorded, after recording when played video player gives error "sorry this video cannot be played"

I have the same issue approx. with Semaphore 1.2.5 on AOKP B38.
For me, it's understandable because of the BigMem option being set so it's not a surprise http://forum.xda-developers.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif
If you use Slim, why didn't you go for the 1.2.5s version of the kernel ? Most users with that combination don't have this problem.
Oh..and make sure you clear the init.d folder

I'm having a problem with video recorder in CM7.2 on my Galaxy Mini. On stock rom it was recording with quite good fps, but on cm7.2 it records in 9fps only. Is there any update for it or a way to replace the cm7.2 camera app to other camera app, that records in decent frame rate?

I've managed to download this app, but even if I switch recording to 30fps (higher value is not supported and app says, that cannot record video) it doesn't fix my problem... Maybe there is another way?

In default CM7.2 camcorder there are no options to tweak video recording, settings are only for photo and there are no options for camcorder...
EDIT: Video quality is set to high
EDIT2: I've also tried MIUI camera for CM7 and it also records in low fps
