I wanted to update my i9000,, it has a Gingerbread 2.3.3 ,, but I see that the Baseband is a JPXV6 while the Build number is JPJV6,,, so, which one to use to search for the 2.3.4 ??,,,

Currently using italy stock rom. Now i want to official asia rom. But I have forgotten the original froyo.

Hey guys had my galaxy s for a few months now but never bothered to read up on what to do with it lol.... I have 2 questions.....

No, latest one is 2.3.4 and with CM7/MIUI 2.3.5.

2.3.4 is latest samsung, all firmwares and flashing instructions can be found at samfirmware.com

i used the 2.3.3 flash upgrade via odin, but im having a TON of issues with it so i want to upgrade it. what is the best and most stable and efficient version to use on my gt-p1000 tab?? also where would i get all the files for this version??

I like how laconic stamatis16 has been, which is why I'm gong to drop in a thanks. As for the answer to your question, you gotta root it, install XRecovery or CWM, download one of the countless GB ROMs available, thank the dev there and then flash it in recovery. Instructions can be found in Development section.

Best is MiniCm7 with alfs kernel(using it), minicm10 is fast , all good , except the lag when you get a phone call , minicm9 is a lil laggy than minicm10.
