I m writing to you to ask a very mole question: I love go launcher appearance but due to many things I use ADW. Does everybody know where I can find stock go launcher icons?

Download the APK or pull it from your phone, change the file extension from .apk to .zip and extract, it should have files you're looking for.

Hey guys, I am on cm7.1 . I wanna have ics folders on my phone wothout using go launcher ex. Is it possible? How? Tried to seaech on google and xda, with no joy. Hence posted.

how about ADW Launcher EX? I'm not sure if this is what your looking for but it has ICS style folders.
Yes,use ADW launcher EX ,it's fast ,smooth and it has ICS folder .
Yeah I am currentlly using ADW laucher with an ICS theme, and that has ICS style folders, but you don't get the 'drag and drop onto another app to create folder' feature. Default theme for the launcher won't give you ICS style folders.
Also when u create a folder, u don't get to see the apps inside like ics. U just see a circle.with nothing in it.

Use the new version of adw ex.

Which ICS theme you guys are referring to? Can someone give link?

You don't need launcher 2 to do that. Just any customizable launcher such as launcherpro or ADW. Then you can recreate that style.

Read the actual description of the app in market, you'll see it says not all widgets etc are a part of the theme. But it does provide all links of where to get them. Follow the links.

Sry if this is not the right forum but it may have to do with development...
I use mihome as launcher beause in my oppinion MiHome is the best...
the best Browser for me is Dolphin HD but the icon in MiHome is terrible... So how can i replace the icon from dolphin icon to the mihome standart browser icon... I tried to delete browser.apk from system and put dolphin to system an rename it to Browser.apk but unfurtunality with no sucess...
I think I have two ways to solve my Problem
1. MiHome have to think taht dolphin is the standart Browser
2. Edit the Icon from dolphin... But maybe with an update i have the problem again... So what can I do.?

Extract apk , find icon.png, archive it back.
Also, wrong section, should be in Q&A section,PM Tom to get it moved

Use 7-zip or APk multi tool

Use Winrar or 7zip to extract app_name_here.apk
Open res\drawable-xdpi
Where x in xdpi is your Device's dpi
Find icon.png or ic_lock_icon.png or whatever png that looks like the app icon
Replace the icon with your desired icon
Zip the app_name_here.apk
Reinstall the app.
OR
~ An easier way do it ~
Open app_name_here.apk using Winrar
Navigate to res\drawable-xdpi
Where x in xdpi is your Device's dpi
Find the app icon and replace with your desired icon
Drag your desired icon to the Winrar window and another window will pop up.
Set compression method to Normal
Press OK
Put new app in SD-Card
Reinstall the app.
Btw. Questions like these, go in the General section.
As the title says, i've been looking for the touchwiz launcher from stock gingerbread to use in cm7. Yes i've searched and obtained other touchwiz launcher but not the stock from mini itself. I would appreciate if u could post it here or link it.
P.s: yes i've tried other launchers and i hate them all, despite they have so many features so don't tell me use this or that.

Try the one by DQiB.. Go to themes and apps section and there is a thread with a list of launchers... Scroll down the page until you find tw4 launcher and download it... Then put it to system/app folder and set permissions to rw-r--r-- and be sure there are no other launchers in system/app folder then reboot

Hello everybody,
first of all i want to apologize for asking for it. But i definately can not do it myself.
I´m just looking for an .apk theme for stock Optimus UI which replaces the app drawer icon with the stock nexus style one,
cause i don´t like the default ones. That´s eveything i need, all the other desktop icons can be changed via Optimus UI launcher.
So if anyone has the same interest and likes to do something like this i would be more than happy.

There is an app in lg smart world by it you can download themes for the stock launcher , made by lg .
I don't remember the name maybe "theme box" or something like that

Hy, thanks for the hint with smart world. I'll have a try and log in. I have holo launcher hd on my phone, but not running cause i'm not rooted and can not use the widgets tab.

I replaced few icons from LG_Biz theme, root needed cause you have to replace system app.
12 icons replaced.

Are you rooted? If yes, just copy and replace original file via es file explorer or total commander to /system/app
If you're not rooted then you can't install it.

Yeah i know, but unless i am not rooted i can not use widget drawer to place widgets on homescreen. It will be possible when we get jelly update till end of march (i hope/want to believe). But i really favour stock launcher so i think about root and have a try with this custon biz theme.

Well, not entirely true, you can still use the Widget drawer, cept it's going to be the Gingerbread style one. But yes, in order to have a true stock ICS or JB experience I guess we have to wait till LG updates roll out.
If you don't wanna root. I sure don't. Not yet atleast.
