Hi everyone,
I need Indian RUU of Incredible S. Does anybody here know of whether it's available anywhere for download? The Indian version is 2.12.720.5, and runs Android 2.3.3.
I have already checked the dedicated thread by XDA member, Football, about '[ROMs] Incredible S Shipped ROMs collection', and sadly the Indian version isn't there.

im xtc soft too ... but I'm european anyway indian updates are way to late xD
The Indian version is yet to recieve sense 3 ota, so it's no use waiting for it use arhd or any sense 3.5 roms

@dheemanth ... that is a OTA update!! i have already asked it from satish to post in my "revert to s-on guide" forum!! that wont help them
Maybe they need a workaround they should flash any RUU lower than 2.12.720.5 and apply the OTA in that , so they will get software version as 2.12.720.5..!
anyone try this !!
I too would like to see the above RUU. Just incase I mess something up and need to revert.

rooted but it doesn't have the market app .
I will update the Arabic ROM with market asap.. However I guess the market app will only be available in English tough..

no need to off with all these versions...with s on working perfect...i'm S-on with my vivo....and better to use one S on device for now and use 2.3.3 official rom...coz people are quietly using sense roms these days...just wait until root is finished.and if you are s off..then for now it gives a work but later there wont be any good use of it...be official...keep your S on.
with these rom just use a gold card and its really easy ...

Once we have the 3.0 kernel from the OTA, we can apply it to a Sense 4.0 ROM. We have known it will only be sense 3.5 (I though Sense 3.6, but almost identical) for a while but don't worry, it's the kernel and the drivers that are the important bits
All that hoping and waiting just to end up with 3.5 :banghead:

I think s710d is a Chinese CDMA phone, like the Droid Incredible 2 (vivow). The s710e is more akin to our vivo, so if this is for s710d then we will have to wait a little longer I think

correct hboot ?
mine is 6.13.1002 will this work?
From what i read in the chinese forums 6.13 hboot needs to be downgraded to 1.09 or 1.13 .. This is the post : http://bbs.zhangku.com/thread-96764-1-1.html

and its
android version is 4.2.2 and
htc sens 5.0
software no. 2.24.401.8
htc sdk api level is 5.34

You're s-off or s-on?
You can't restore the phone as stock if you don't have the S-OFF, maybe you will be Relocked and the warranty can't accept your phone

Wait, when you boot in bootloader you can read s-on or s-off?
However, you can't push the 4.2.2 because there isn't any ruu atm.
So, you can restore your phone only if you're s-off...
And wait, is unlocked from HTCDev?
If you do not know what s-off or on is bro I would suggest you do some major reading before you attempt it

There is no RUU for that firmware, unfortunately, and you can't s-off either. I'm afraid you're stuck until a 4.3 RUU is released for WWE.

Bro, you can restore a stock nandroid bro. Then you can flash a stock recovery bro. The tampered will be gone, but it will still show relocked, so HTC will know you did something to it.
